Overall, a solid experience. I would not recommend Pulte Mortgage, but the build went well. Ryan was a good construction manager. There are small aesthetic issues that are somewhat annoying, but I have confidence Pulte will fix these throughout the first year of ownership.

Bad experience all the way around. Paint the shipping from the door garage door is not working light bulb was wrong sink was wrong chipped everywhere on the deck

Unprofessional Builders

They gave me an unfinished house. After multiple follow-ups they send someone to finish up some paint work, and he leaves it half finished. The quality of such expensive houses is very questionable with mesh door not getting locked, and flimsy pull out drawers in the kitchen.

I was told by a salesman that my F150 was going to fit in the garage. When I tried this in my first day at home, it didn't fit. So disappointed. All the hard work, quality, good timing, etc. was overshadowed by that. Now we need to sell our F150.

I am dissatisfied with the overall buying experience. I was definitely being sold but not informed. When changes were made on my property, I was not notified. Once I moved into the home I was disappointed with the finished quality of the product. The construction crew that built my house did not care about having a quality finished product. Shortcuts were taken all over the house. They are putting too many houses up too quickly with poor craftsmanship.

Our closing was delayed majorly, and we were not even given a closing date until two days before closing. After closing, we are not getting any prompt responses for the issues we're facing. It has been two weeks since I raised an issue with warranty team without any helpful update until now. I'm not sure it pulte was good earlier, but I can't imagine other builders being worse than this.

Pulte is very inflexible with design options. Their baseline features are low quality. Everything seemed to be an upgrade. Pulte tried to force me to move from a double oven convection range to a low budget range. I refused to do so and they charged me more, and still did not get my double oven in time for closing. It's been 8 weeks since they ordered and still nothing. Getting repairs completed due to Pulte's poor workmanship takes an extremely long time. And constant follow up.

We had an amazing experience building with Pulte. They communicated every step of the way, and were responsive when we had questions. Our home turned out amazing and is really great quality. Our construction manager was the best, and even communicated when he was out of the office. If you want a stress free build, build with Pulte!!

Poor Communication Throughout The Process

During the entire build process there was little to no communication and if there was any it was triggered by myself. Post closing a list of items to be fixed were shared with the customer care team but again no communication on timeline for repairs were given. It is beyond disappointing the customer service provided - it is something you would expect from a builder with no experience.

Tyler, the sales rep was wonderful. He helped us figure out the home options we would like and is very good at his job. The home was completed in a timely manner, and the overall workmanship was very good. Everything was going well until the end of the build. There were SEVERAL issues at our final walkthrough, and this was addressed with the project manager BUT nothing was fixed or corrected. We were assured by the project manager that everything would be taken care of, but when we moved in, the garage door opener didn’t work, the garbage disposal didn’t work, the ice maker did not work, the ...

Pulte is using sloppy contractors and generally doesn’t care about their customers post purchase. They installed lots of already brown, most dead sod that is not coming back to life and 2 weeks of daily watering and accused me of not watering enough despite my day 1 proof with photos and my water bill detailed usage graph, then their sod contractor came and literally yelled in my face and they are refusing to replace the dead sections they installed. Our ceiling seams and wall seams were less than professional. Pulte sent APV to address. The APV tech informed the only way to correct the ceiling mismatch was to have the complete ceiling texture reworked. It's been 2 weeks and no followup from a Pulte rep.

Pulte has great people that help facilitate the whole home buying experience. The quality is excellent. The Foreman on the job was outstanding. We would definately recommend Pulte to anyone interested in a new home. Price point is excellent and the quality and workmanship very good. They stay on the job to completion. I was very disappointed with the way the house was turned over to me after closing dozens of things were not repaired or fixed and the house was in disarray unacceptable for a higher and builder.

Cory and Vanessa were great to work with, however the workmanship wasn't that great. And, friends are shocked when I mention that ceiling fan and hanging lights installation are not included as well as only one rack in a bedroom closet. Some of the painting was pretty sloppy, too.

I have great experience with Pulte Sales/Accounts/Builder and all engineer and Support post closing, closing team and the entire team of Pulte. Great coordination and keeping home owners posted on any changes or delays of delivery if foreseen. Also, closely follows up on home closing/post addressing of any home issues as part if warranty.
