Pulte is not responsive to issues and bad on communication. Mortgage company horrible

The challenge of the supply chains I realize and have built many other homes but it doesn’t excuse the fact of how dirty my house was during construction and especially after the finishes started going in the cabinets had some white dust all over them that has never been totally cleaned and the cabinets need a lot of repair and look terrible in some places a person worked on them the day after I closed and now have heard nothing four weeks later. My floors were not protected and there are many stains on my new laminate floors. The carpet was dirty or damaged and never taken care of I have lights that don’t work the Courtyard has dented gutters a sadly finished gate and paint and construction materials on the entry door. Everywhere I look I find new things cracked laundry sink scratches on the bathtub and a leaking window when it rains. I was told at closing don’t worry I will take care of you by the person at the walk thru and have never heard from anyone again. Sales team was pathetic. Construction team was OK until closing but hasn't been responsive after closing. Overall very disappointed with pulte

We had a great buying experience from Pulte.

Our experience with Pulte has been great. As with any significant project/building process, there were some hiccups, but every one was addressed. We felt that we were truly working with a customer focused, quality company. Everything from the honesty/transparency in the sales process through their design center selection help, home construction, and closing was excellent. We have a quality home that has met our expectations.

The key to true satisfaction is when things start to go wrong and the organization is willing to work with you. When I bought the house, the rates started to increase dramatically to the point that I would've almost been priced out of the house I wanted to buy. However, at the last minute Pulte managed to ensure that I would be able to afford this home as intended and they did everything they could to ensure I could move in with max satisfaction. This company was already well rated when I first worked with them and made me a first time homeowner. Even my parents who were working along side me as guides were interested in using them for a future purchase. Pulte definitely earned all their 5 from me. ... More

Overall we had a awesome experience with Pulte. This is our first home, Pulte put all the step and clear instructions throughout the process

When I started the process and throughout, working with Alex our salesperson was how you would expect from a National builder. He has been the only pleasant part of this experience. Our salesperson tried but could not handle the tasks of a construction manager and we closed on a home that was subpar at most. We were promised Tony our customer service rep would help us rectify the items not corrected. This has been the worst experience in the entire process. His arrogance and failure to understand how to speak to customers is worse than the actual items that were never addressed. Basic home security. My front door is not safe or straight. This was built wrong and needs to be redone! The items from the original punch list from a few months ago are STILL not done. The amount of days taken off work required to wait for workers to show up and still have no idea why they are there is mind boggling. Huge huge disappointment. Damaged tiles, damaged windows, a garage that is filthy and doesn't get cleaned because it was never finished. It goes on and on. Pulte / Divosta should consider addressing these items, especially the service, before customers take legal action. ... More

Was very disappointed with the quality of construction. Warranty calls for walls and ceilings to be level within a quarter inch within 4 feet and many of them are beyond that threshold. Had to modify installations of appliances at our cost due to the fact the ceilings are way off level. Many walls are also bowed , not straight within the Warrenty threshold. Way too much covering up things and hoping this customer would be satisfied. The correct way would’ve been to deliver the house the way the warranty says “free of defects” Seeking legal advice on how these defects can be corrected in the safest, cleanest manner without causing more issues to the structure & personal health. Pulte’s big selling feature is their quality and it is mentioned numerous times in the sales And construction process. We purchased a brand new home with Pulte. Although we didn’t get the chance to do the building experience with all the different styles and inside designs the experience was great and the house is beautiful. It was exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t believe it was available especially in the market the way it was. The whole experience was great though from beginning to end and they have been responsive with all the little things afterwards as well. Just waiting on few things to be fixed but I appreciate all their effort to get it completed. Dylan was amazing to work with and extremely patience and responsive. Concrete work in drive way and back side of house has already start Cracking in 1 month. Also carpet has nails at few places which heart in your feet.

Overall the whole process is very good. The sales representative is awesome, knowledgeable, very dedicated, and love to help.

My experience with with Pulte has been very professional and smooth. From the beginning of our home buying experience with Pulte, I am very pleased with Dave, Frank, and Kyle. Very good response time for any minor issue that we have had thus far. Again, very courteous, respectful, friendly and professional.

Pulte home built a very quality house for me&my family. My construction Manger was the best,always on top of everything and keeping us posted.

Over all buying experience is great.

I’ve bought two new homes in the past 8 years and this was the best of the two. LaShay was a helpful and responsive sales rep and Owen was a very responsive & attentive project manager. I visited the site often and perhaps that made a difference in the process of construction. Any new home has some issues that need to get addressed and for me, that process for me was smooth. I didn’t have that many issues, and the ones I did have were resolved to my satisfaction. I love my new home and my new neighbors.

Plan on spending some time and money fixing all the things that are delivered just "good enough" by Pulte - floors went in first and weren't protected, gaps around outlets and switches, one coat of paint that is paper thin, and overall such a disappointment. Wouldn't recommend Pulte to anyone. Focus is on selling homes as fast as possible - no one cares about quality of product.

From start to finish the sales staff and everybody involved was pleasant and very helpful even with delays from Covid they got the job done the finish work and the attention to detail and delivery was excellent

So we love the floor plan and location of our new build. Unfortunately once you close, responsiveness to issues and follow-up drops off. I understand the supply chain problems and global events out of the builders control, but that does not excuse lack of a response to issues(even just to schedule something) once you sign the closing papers. A number of issues were raised that have yet to be addressed by Pulte or it's representatives. Been waiting over a month just to get a response for a service order. The cabinet workmanship was mediocre, the interior paint and flooring quality poor(tiles already cracking and I was never supplied any extra remnants). And yet the builder continues to build new homes at a frenetic pace without bothering to devote some resources/time to those who have already purchased homes. ... More
