I guess like all of these construction companies they bend over backwards for you until closing. Once you close they are not as responsive. They have left the landscaping in front of my unit with dead plants and looking like crap. To make matters worse they claim is the HOA responsibility and they have not yet surrendered their responsibility to the HOA in fact they haven’t even finished a walkway that goes by a green area next to my unit. They are building so fast they don't have time for any issues that come up. We waited a month for an electrical issue to be fixed, never have received touch up paint, yard wasn't inspected after freeze during winter for plants/grass that died. Paid top dollar for a house that is mediocre at best.

The staff that handle the post inspection and repairs are very determined to fix any issues with your home. Nicolette is extremely helpful and quick to get the job done. I can only say that I am grateful for everything that she has done for me and my family. not satisfied with responce or treatment with issues after closing. One issue being we are older and did nor understand who we contact with our problems. This should have been explained to us with some respect, which it was not. After buying a Pulti home in Florida and being completey satisfied we are disapointed with Pulte in Michigan.

Our journey with Pulte to build our first home was good if not great. From the first step the Sales consultant was a huge help in getting us to know about the community and the house. There were a couple of instance where he did not notified us about a couple of things which may have been better if we would have known about it. The design center appointment also went. The communication has been a major issue before and after closing. It been like a hit or miss. Somedays it feels like no one is listening to our feedback. there has been issue with work quality, major items. I am not going into minor defects which are multiple. I love my new home! From the beginning design process and thru the build process I was kept informed and all my questions were answered promptly. My sales rep and contractor were very knowledgeable, attentive to my needs, and guided me thru the process, minimizing the stress associated with having a house built. I have moved in to my new house on April 13 2022. Over all experience with team is satisfactory. Few callouts/areas for improvement are 1. Great experience with the on-site sales rep. The construction team was great until we closed. The walk through provided very little information regarding maintenance and features of the home. Some items were not finished by closing and the follow through with those items has been disappointing. Warranty has been dismal. I submitted a request early to take care of a leak as well as a few other items. Thankfully, due to my own persistence, the leak was repaired. There are several quality issues with parts of our home which we are told stems from the shortage of quality contractors that are available for Pulte to hire to build their homes. The concrete slab is very wavy and bumpy and impacted the look of the vinyl flooring we chose, so much that we had to pay to upgrade to the LVT flooring; walls are wavy and curvy and could only be corrected somewhat; already have cracks in concrete garage floor and back patio (we only took ownership in April 2022); there are other less major issues as well. Overall experience was good, however there are certain things in my home which are still not working like some power outlets. They will say that just keep a note of it and call the after sale service to resolve the issue. My point is why not have it properly looked before handover the keys. We went through the purchase process relatively fast. The builder anticipated the closing date although the home was not 100% ready for closure. Our home has quite a number of upgrades which were charged at premium cost. Overall, the quality of the house is unsatisfactory, both from design and construction perspective. For example, partition walls do not have any sound insulation, and you can literally hear conversation or the TV sound from the other room(s). The supervisor and sales office were great and kept us up to date with the progress of the house. Unfortunately the quality of the construction was poor and caused multiple delays with the completion of the house. Framing was off creating floor and cabinet installation adjustments. Exterior brick work was sloppy leaving us with the exterior partly covered with mortar.
