Not the greatest experience, build quality and finishes were lacking due to limited construction quality control of contractors. Pulte quality assurance relied on new homeowner to find faults to include damaged cabinetry, electrical code violations and poor workmanship.

We contracted with Pulte to build a house in Jacksonville Florida in August of 2021. We were living in the Chicago suburbs at the time. Since we lived 1,100 miles away, we were told that we would get regular updates with pictures during the build process. That did not happen until after repeated calls and sales management got involved. It was also very clear to us that there would be face to face meetings required during the build and we made it clear that we needed 2-3 weeks notice to plan travel. This was the first time I went thru new construction on a home. Pulte made the process easy and enjoyable. They kept me informed during the entire process. Installed dead grass for a new house and AC is not functional in one room

We were rushed to closing. We submitted third party inspection report before closing that grass is not healthy and need to be replaced. I was told it just needs some sun and would turn green soon after closing. I trusted and approved final walk. But the grass never turned green. When i requested in warranty they are currently pushing back to even add it in warranty

The sales person was responsive to our questions. The project manager was approachable and provided thorough walkthroughs. Even after move in, he came by and checked in on us and was available for follow up questions.

The sales person was friendly and responsive to our questions as we were moving from out of state. Working with the design team was easy and they worked with us on closing virtually and moving in at a later date. Although there are always hiccups with moving into a new residence, we are very happy with our new home!

After closing Pulte has become the next best thing to a ghost

Following closing Pulte does not respond to calls and emails for problems found in the home within 2 months post move in…basement water damage, buckling vinyl plank flooring, external GFCI not working preventing proper use of irrigation system controls, automatic garage door stopped working, backordered thermostats. These are just a few of the items.

Quality of construction is fair at best. Absolutely no follow up after closing on punch list items. Grading of backyard has caused flooding and all parties are pointing at each other. Two month old roof is leaking. Stay away.

We were rushed through the initial contract experience resulting in a very large construction mistake which was never addressed by them. Nor would they even discuss with us. "You signed all the papers" was what the sales rep said. You look at a small computer screen and make choices. Big mistake! Don't let them rush you. Take all the time needed to check every small detail. The house was not finished upon closing. It was filthy. Had construction materials laying around. This new home was love at first site. The on-site agent was very helpful with all the amenities offered with the Bedrock model. With everything on one level and a walk out basement sealed the deal for us. We feel the quality of material and workmanship was outstanding, from the building material, flooring, appliances and so much more made us feel that we made the right decision on buying a Pulte home. Missing Commitment

Constructions are done in a way to pass City inspections/standards, i.e just so much to ensure that you can live inside the house, but it is guaranteed that you will live without any satisfaction of any kind. There are occasional goods done but not noteworthy due to the pain, stress that we had to go thru before that good finally happens. But hey, that's likely happening across all builders and not just this builder - right? So helpless. If only I am given chance to improve my rating to 5 stars in this lifetime.
