Throughout our construction process we had many questions around Pultes set and missed timelines. During that process we were made to feel like we were in the wrong with unacceptable responses, if we even got one at all. Would not go through this process with Pulte again.

Overall experience up through closing was fairly positive. For a production type home ,Pulte does a good job. But every new home always comes with some after-construction issues. While Pulte goes out of their way to promise that these mostly minor issues will be promptly dealt with, in reality their response to rectify these issues has been less than promised. It seems that once closing is completed they just dont care as much. It's been more than 2 months since we closed and we're still waiting to hear from them on when these issues will be resolved. You would expect a bit better from Pulte. Pulte has fallen short in most areas. House not worth what we paid. Still have issues with house. Quality is not there. Floors coming up. Paint coming off walls. Trim falling off. Moved in April 2022! Don't buy at Norwood Chase!

The sales consultant and construction folks were very responsive and thorough but the quality and workmanship is so, so poor. After closing there were areas that were not painted that we did not catch, the stairwell started chipping, the railings were crooked, things that were promised at the walk through were not followed up on. The worst part is that I had a leak in my basement that wet a large area of the carpet and now the dry wall has been cut to look for the leak and it’s been almost a month and nothing has been fixed. The overall design and layout were good but the quality of workmanship for the price is frustrating. The home is very loud when people walk and conversations can be heard through walls. The home doesn't feel solid. The layout works for our family but the quality could be better for price.

The primary sales agent was very responsive to questions as well as the construction supervisor. One major issue was that the lot had water drainage problems which they knew and did everything in their power to brush off our concerns. Now our sump pump runs constantly and the company claims it's not their problem and won't do anything to remedy the issue.

I found it very easy to go through the building process starting on paper with Diane. She was my go to person with any questions. The process was well run from picking out the exterior colors, interior finishes to walk throughs. Our construction manager was really great.

Closed 7 months late. We have 3 good size holes into our attic, and nobody at customer care will return my calls. For over a week I have been trying to get a hold of anyone. Easier time getting a root canal done. Avoid Pulte!

The sale of the home was great but once it came down to the quality and inspections, that’s where it fell apart. Most last minute touch ups were not completed as promised and MANY outlets are not functioning properly around the house. Thermostat’s haven’t been changed and the direct contact’s do not care about resolving the issues.

What stood out most are all the issues with the home (i.e. items that should have never passed the construction field QA review).

I would recommend having a home inspector accompany buyers on the pre closing and closing walk throughs. This would hopefully catch many of the incomplete items. I think the builder rushed the process in order to close on the last day of the month.

Post closing follow up for issues is terrible

The sales and build process was outstanding. However the process to get construction issues corrected after close has been terrible. Our Customer Care Manager is more interested in making excuses or finding reasons why they should not address the problem than fixing what are overall minor problems.

Closed on the property in the winter, cannot tell you how much was not done to the home. We are relocating from a different state so I’m happy we have a solid 5 months before having to move here. Neighborhood=gorgeous. But that’s where it ends. With every issue came a slew of excuses-can’t find skilled labor, can’t get 42” cabinets (and our cabinets aren’t even WOOD), can’t do smooth ceilings, can’t finish moldings in rooms all the way around because that’s just not what we do. I initially like the builders response to repairs of the house. I did not report any issues on my 1 month survey as he was prompt and fair. After the first 1 month, any other repairs were not taken care of in a timely manner and builder ceased to respond
