I closed with so many outstanding items but grouped them overall into following categories: a.) Closing was delayed from December 2021 to March 31, 2022. This delay had cost me a few thousand dollars for board, lodging, and additional storage extra fees. b.) The appraised value was much lower than the sales price. Pulte construction refused to giving comps to at least cover the difference. The original comp I got is the same everyone got. c.) Be prepared to follow up with your customer care representative and keep a pulse on your punch list of items that need to be fixed. I received mismatched appliances and poor flooring installation followed by excessive delays in getting things fixed. I still don't have fixes to specific items 5 months post closing.

We are very disappointed with our pulte purchase. During our pre-construction meeting we were showed by our project manager plygem fold out windows we were getting with the house. After we moved in, we discovered pulte switched out all of the windows without our knowledge. No email or phone call. The windows we received do not fold out. We asked pulte about replacing the windows and they refused. We also had no hot water when we moved in. We had to call an emergency plumber to get hot water. This is the 3rd new home that we have purchased in the last 10 years or so. Initially, everything sounded great and it seemed as if Pulte truly stood behind what their employees said. Now we are noticing too many issues with the craftsmanship and no one giving a solution to the repairs needed from a water leak. There has been a hole in our main floor roof for almost 3 weeks now and we are told that someone needs to come assess the situation AGAIN next week. Most of the craftsmanship issues are misalignment of cabinets/drawers, door latches and hinges, and french doors. Also making cuts too ...

I started my experience with Pulte in April 2021, I was told the house would be completed in September 21 but wasn’t closed until March 22. Numerous problems other than delays. I understand the delays due to the times we are in but when mistakes are made and pointed out without being addressed only to be held up later, that’s completely on Pulte management. Quality materials are okay but workmanship is very subpar, either they can’t get quality workers or they hire the cheapest. I appreciate Chris and Dale working through the process of building with us. The gave us confidence that everything would be taken care of and made themselves consistently available for questions or concerns. Of course during a building process issues come up but between the two of them they never felt like big issues and the lines of communication begin so open helped us remain comfortable and confident.

Pulte offers quality cookie cutter homes. They have descent floor plans and great layouts. They are not able to alter build plans in the beginning. The little changes that were asked were not able to be accommodated because they lack a good internal process communication. Surveys post build do no good, they need surveys after each part of the build process. 8 steps should include 8 surveys plus any other data Pulte would like to collect.

Overall we had a good experience. We enjoyed the entire process of planning building our new home. The pulte consultation at the design center was a pleasant experience. The only thing I would like to have known was all the additional add on we could have received. Example gas line outside for a grille, additional outlets in the garage and outside. Being first time home buyers we did not have any experience in building a house.

We love our home and our happy we purchased. But the service we have received after we closed, has been absolutely awful. Our house was not cleaned prior to moving in, our yard was a complete mess with garbage from construction and we were promised by Andreas it would be cleaned up. Nobody ever came to clean it up and they just came out with bulldozers and covered it all with dirt. So now we have tons of nails, metal, tubes of caulk, aluminum cans, and other garbage buried in our yard. Communication from construction/field manager just has been really poor that I have to give a poor rating despite all other parts of the process being relatively positive. Initially provided dates are never right and promised dates have been broken too many times. I assure you that these problems are not supply chain related because items arrive on time. The problem is in giving incorrect information too many times over and over.

The lack of input afforded to choose upgrades or make changes. Pulte will sell you an upgrade package with no chance whatsoever to make changes...very rigid system.

The experience was pretty good pre closing; once we closed on the house, getting timely responses from the Home Care Manager is frustrating at times. The Home Care Manager is having to fix workmanship issues that should have been addressed by the builder. The builder doesn't do a good job in paying attention to the final details just prior to the new owners moving in. All efforts 72 hours prior to the new owners moving in should be for the builder to go throughout the entire house to make sure everything is done right and to standard.
