Great experience for buying my first home.

It's good to stay in Pulte but there are some teething issues.

Finish was cheap for the price paid for this new house. Could have done a little better to ensure we buy from you again. At this point I’m not sure if that will happen again. Additionally, there were some issues that I did not see or were pending from the walkthrough, but had to go through warranty to resolve.

My community was built with many restrictions on choice of materials and amenities so the builder could take advantage of economies of scale. It’s good for the builder but a bit disappointing to the buyer. Otherwise all went well for me.

For me, it came down to the competence, trustworthiness and responsiveness of the Field Supervisor. Joed was assigned to my project late in the process and he made all the difference. He communicated regularly about issues, updates, and made me comfortable and informed about the build process. That hadn't happened prior.

Exceptional location close to everything being built in Westfield. Down the road from Grand Park and IN 32 and US 31! We love our townhome and can see us staying while the community continues to grow. With it being a BRAND NEW community, there are always kinks that have to be worked out. We were one of the very first buyers and experienced some hiccups. The sales and construction team have handled accordingly and made sure things were right. Mikel is great at following up and being responsive on issues or questions during and after the process. Overall, we would recommend Pulte and Landcaster to first time homebuyers, retirees, and everyone in between! ... More

So far I am over all a happy customer and living in a home they built for me. I haven’t had any major concerns during build process and over all process was very Smooth

This was a good experience. It was a bit overwhelming to me but I have to say Mary and Lori were so knowledgeable and helpful. They answered every question with that knowledge base… and, they were always so nice and pleasant. And, orientation with Mike was amazing… great information presented so well. From the 1st visit to move in day wonderful professionals to deal with. The condo is so lovely…. the finishes, the plumbing…. every detail so well thought out and executed.

Overall, everyone we dealt with has been helpful, professional, and responsive. Given how many homes Pulte is building, and the schedules they must keep, it is probably inevitable there will be glitches, either small or large. Fortunately, most of the glitches we have seen have tended to be small. The proof of how well a builder will stand behind their work is their readiness to correct problems as they are discovered. So far Pulte has been pretty good, but we're still waiting on a few things to be addressed, one month after closing on the house. All in all, very, very good!

Easy to work with; very responsive throughout the build process.

The experience was great. The staff were professional and respectful. However, the uncertainty on the home completion date frequently put us in difficult positions. We had to do multiple extensions to our lease and had to look for alternate places to live due to the frequent and last minute delays to the stated completion date. Rather than delaying the home 0-2 months prior to completion of the home, we would have preferred a conservative estimate 4-6 months in advance to allow us to properly extend our living arrangements. in the end, due to the uncertainty, we would have over extended our prior lease or would have scrambled to find last minute rentals. Both alternatives would have resulted in extra costs. However, over extending our prior lease would have prevented a great deal of stress and heartache. ... More

We love our layout and that was the main factor in deciding the home we built. A few things that we wish would have been communicated (steepness of driveway grade they said it was 9.3 but it is well over 13, Garage height we were told something different than the final build height, also felt like the house could have been better prepared for closing, final walk through did not give enough time for all issues to be completed - front door frame not square as an example). Overall we had a good experience and plan to stay in the home for quite a while.

Our home is beautiful and we feel we had good value and quality. Our issues have been primarily with communication towards the end of the build process. It seems this depends very much on who you have as we had excellent communication from our earlier contact point, sales manager, title company and mortgage provider.

The Pulte process is quick and efficient but sometimes disorganized. The home design selections have a sufficient variety to personalize your home to your tastes. Make sure that you feel comfortable, before signing anything with Pulte. Our closing was delayed, due to the 5 hour delay with a 3rd party contractor, late, installing the shower glass. (Pulte will encourage you to wire $$$, before the closing date. We did NOT do that.) Pulte closing company acted in our interest, when requested, with requested escrow set aside for trees, sod, water faucet and refridgerator that were not yet supplied by closing date. It may be months until this is complete. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH TO GET A GOOD REALTOR who understands construction and will catch mistakes and email the Project Manager with pictures, etc. Your Realtor should act in YOUR INTEREST and Pulte pays them 2.7%. YOU need an ADVOCATE that looks out for YOU THE BUYER !! (Our Realtors were at every single appt we had. Introduction, design, electrical, pre drywall, walkthru, home videos every 10 days to view progress, etc. ) ... More

Had a pretty good experience in the whole home buying process. From sales through building contractors and to closing the home, the entire team treated me with respect. They made me a part of the building process by informing me of the progresses made and asked if i had any questions. Had a little hiccups in the last days before closing but they quickly worked together to get the job done on time to close. I love my home and haven’t had any problems so far.

I have been in my home almost 1 month and many things still need to be done to complete it. Paint broken window cabinet door no towel racks and toilet paper holders and railing needs to be moved. This should have been done by now. I gave all my money and financed before I moved in. I expect the work to be complete by now.

Don't rush your design decisions, make sure you know what's included. Just because you see it doesn't mean you get it. Such as standard pool shows handrail, but you don't get one. All things considered we got a very nice home. Your salesman can give you lots of good info.

Overall, this has been a good first-time home-buying experience.

Amazing builder, with experience. The Salesman was very professional in the whole process. The loan process with Pulte Mortgage was a NIGHTMARE for 7 months, even though I'm existing owner with Pulte in other place. I was lucky that the Salesman mentioned me about a second loan company that approved me in 2 weeks. After closing I had some warranty issues that were fixed (long process too), but were fixed. In Overall a deffenitly will recoment Pulte as a great Builder.

Our over all experience is difficult to rate. We love our home! The issue we have and continue to have is workmanship. It is frustrating to have repairs made and then new mistakes are made. They have to keep coming back, basically for the same issue. The effort is there but execution of the fix is not. I also observed subcontractors not performing to Pulte standards. I pointed it out and it was corrected. I think the Covid situation has also had an impact on our situation and the Pulte crew have stayed with it to make it right!

Trust worthy and great customer service.

Anthony at the sales office was great ! I could reach out to him any time with questions and he was more than happy to answer them . The construction team was great too ! Pulte mortgage needs some improvement in the quality of service .

Have not encountered any major issues with our new residence. The only downer is that I received my FOB and I've had issues with it working properly. I am currently still awaiting the delivery of my replacement FOB. My feeling is that it shouldn't take this long to get a working FOB.
