Don’t expect Pulte to meet their deadlines. 125 days from dig date is a joke. It was almost a year, 345 days, to close. Things were still not finished and it’s now been two months and the exterior finishes are not complete. while I love the layout of our home I do not think the workmanship of the contractors does not equates to the what we paid for. For almost $450,000 we got $250,000 in finishes and workmanship. The painting, plumbing, flooring, etc was sloppily or half completed. Additionally turnover is bad. I will say our last build manager was great to work with and if it had not been for him I don’t think we would be in this house today. ... More

The experience was great from start to finish. Everything was timely done.

Framing & Flooring work has been disappointing so far. Expected a lot more from Pulte.

The house looks great from the outside. As for the inside of the house, we labeled several areas that needed to be retouched during the final walkthrough and inspection phase, and they were improved mostly. However, we somehow managed to find more problems immediately after we moved in, which include sloppy paint jobs (marks, dent, dried out dripping lumps) on baseboard throughout the house, an open hole between one of the banisters and the bottom of the stairwell, missing parts of the stove leading to a wobbly stovetop, missing rubber bumps in almost all the kitchen cabinet, and cracks below the kitchen island. When we addressed these issues, some of them were fixed, some not. It is like buying a brand-new car with scratches and marks all over the place. It's not a pleasant feeling. Not to mention this house costs over ten times more than a brand new fancy car. ... More

Pulte did really well in giving us update on our house construction, there's a little bit delay on the construction as planned but it's understandable since materials and labor are short at this time.

Justin has done a fabulous job keeping us informed the entire build as well as troubleshooting anything that has gone array.

The lack and workmanship whenever an issue was addressed The repair looks worse than the original issue Such as drywall and paint Missing vents and missing fuses in appliances Concrete chipped and scratched from running heavy machinery on horrible communication when issues needing repair are addressed

Bob in Sales was excellent to work with from our on line buying experience to the follow thru on issues that developed during the process. Natalie in the Pulte Design Center was spectacular to work with. Finally, Tim the Construction Manager on site was responsive to our observations and needs.

The support of everyone to make the experience of buying a Pulte home the best ever. Adrian, Cody, are excellent employees for taking care of the items to make things right.

The experience I had from the initial sale to closing was flawless unfortunately due to current times of lack of materials and sufficient labor force the house was delayed but understandable I would recommend this property to any and all that is looking for a fantastic community and real people to work and live with.

Overall great experience building with Pulte

Sales process with Derek was very good. Pay careful attention during your walk through, test everything (water, electric, appliances), check ALL indoor finishing.(floor tile, shower tiles, grouting, cabinets). Field mgr, Ryan was good at getting things done.

at the beginning sales was nice, during the finical was terrible, at the end I have to use my cash to closed the house, and still delayed the closing date due to not completed the house , after close multiple area either not completed or install unproperly . such as leaking water from the ceiling , from garage wall. missing tiles from the kitchen or bathroom, my house closed on3/30 it is been over 1 month now still finish all ..

I don’t think I would ever buy another home by Pulte , after you sign and have issues you can’t find out who to call . Too frustrating for a senior like myself

We have a few issues with the home and Pulte has been very responsive in getting the issues addressed. We are still waiting for the "punch list" items to be completed but all in all it we have nothing but great things to say about PULTE!

The level of craftsmanship and professionalism the builders at Pulte exhibited during construction was above and beyond what we expected. They walked us through every aspect of the project and their attention to detail was impeccable. We look forward to working with Pulte again in the future.

The Pulte employees, Marissa and Adam, we worked with were very responsive to our questions and needs. It was a pleasure to work with them. This was the best experience compared to two other homes we’ve built.

Our new Pulte home is the fourth home that my wife and I have built over the past 30+ years. The level of service and attention to detail that Melissa and Matt delivered during this entire experience was the very best of the four. And not just by a little. That is impressive under ideal circumstances and even more so given the additional challenges that COVID has wrought with the supply chain and labor. Their dedication to client satisfaction isn't only the best we have experienced with our four homes but among the very best customer experiences we have ever enjoyed, period! They both understand that communication, even when it may be news that we won't like, is the key to success. And they both consistently delivered on their commitments to us. Construction Managers Ryan & Chuck did an amazing job! Dawn, customer care agent, is also awesome, after close punch items are being addressed quickly and with great quality. I love my new home! I am extremely happy with the quality and value of the build, the steps along the entire process were well organized and seamless.

Sales: Taylor in our community was great. He was eager and great to work with. He did a great job of explaining everything to us, the process and all that jazz. He also steered us in the way of things he would personally recommend rather than what was the most expensive. He was always responsive and helpful to get us the attention we need. Design: overwhelming! Pulte actually did a great job and emailed us over the PDFs so we had an idea of the features we wanted to see and look at. This was a huge help with light fixtures, sinks, faucets, etc. Hurry up and wait (framing): our framing 'manager' Jackson left a little to be desired on updates. Communication was lacking and he would skip weekly calls for outside events without mentioning it to us such as weddings, vacations, etc. We weren't there for too long, but it started the building process off on a negative foot. post framing: Greg started off better and tapered off after closing. We were refused a closing date for several months (making life hard for a family with children), so we couldn't schedule movers, furniture, getting out of the apartment we lived in while our house was being built, etc. This frustration mounted towards the end when we had to pick new items such as counters we had selected 9 months before that were now 'out of stock'. We came down to the wire and constantly were asked to move our closing date (after we finally did get a day about 30 days out) and we ended up closing on a house that is still not complete. There is a lack of control and organization in their current build process Closing and financing: I WOULD recommend using Pulte as the finance company for the mortgage as well. You can shop rates and they will match typically, but if your house is moved back for any reason, they will not cancel your contract. However, their closing process is not the best. We did a lot of paperwork ahead of time to shorten the process and were informed we would get more via docusign, but it never came. We also waited 25 minutes (for a 30 minute closing) to even get started in their office as well as had them switch our consultant to someone we didn't know rather than the person we had worked with for several months. We are still waiting on some closing documents such as the final appraisal that were were told we would get, but haven't. they did not do much to explain the process and we had to go back for keys as they give you a small card that you take to the office of the community. Overall, the rate and savings made it bearable. Post close and moving in: We still had open items upon closing (something pulte touts as 'not a thing' - they say two things: home is 100% complete at close, and once you get a closing date, they get it all done... they did not. We got mirrors the day we closed with keys in hands, had drying paint and the house was absolutely filthy (dust on blinds, floors, walls, etc. and the house just wasn't' cleaned at all, sadly). Following that, we are two months in and still have open items. Our sales guy won't take our calls, our project manager won't respond to us and the manager or our PM has pushed us off to the client care team (who is great thus far, Anthony is actually getting it done). But we have items from filling in gaps in the garage concrete floor to fixing our floors that are not floated well or secured down to dry wall fixes that pictures were taken several months ago. We have also had 2 full water leaks thus far in the house as well as electrical issues and AVAC issues where the house wasn't balanced. Overall: it's a nice house with a sturdy framing and nice features. But the overall process to get everything up and running is a process within itself and the fight to get left over items closed is a battle. Do not sign the check until it's complete, if you can afford to do so (if you have a place to live). ... More

Tradespeople were extremely sloppy in their work in all domains. I was not present for gliding or would not have closed given the issues we saw regarding bad tile work, scratched up cabinets. Fortunately, warranty service/customer care has been very responsive and helpful
