Despite nationwide delays in material I was kept in the loop by David. I was out of state but the construction site in face time was always clean and organized. Very well constructed home with only a few issues (minor) to resolve post closing. Excellent job!

From day 1 it was poor craftsmanship and service. Literally not happy with any portion of this process. At this point I only view the structure (don't even feel comfortable calling it home) as an investment.

We were so excited to build with Pulte, as we had heard great things. Most of what we heard was not our experience. Working with Charity in the sales office was the highlight of the experience. She was super communicative, friendly and went above & beyond for us. After purchasing our lot and selecting our finishes, it was downhill from there. The construction managers would rarely communicate, and even when we reached out would it respond to emails. They didn’t follow through on things they said they would do. We have been in our home for over a month now, and are still waiting on things to be done that we’re supposed to be done before closing. We love our neighborhood, but really wish we could have built here without going through Pulte. ... More

This was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home. The entire process was a breeze.

Love my home but slow to respond on finishing items

Cutting corners seems like the standard.

I would like a call from my builder.. no one will call me back after contacting them multiple times. This is super frustrating. And today I found out I have water damage in my home from the rain. I would not recommend Pulte.

My overall experience with Pulte has been fair not great. I'll start with the positives then go into the negatives. The staff at Pulte Mortgage do a great job of staying on top of the home buying process. I've been in my new home a little over two months and it's starting to feel like home after living in hotels and an apartment for almost a year. They build a solid house but the overall workmanship toward the end was a rush job to get the house closed. John, my construction manager is the contact person for the company and he does an excellent job of trying to make the customer happy but he is only one person. The thing that leaves the biggest pit in my stomach is the kitchen upgrade. Right before closing; in fact days before closing I found out I would have mismatched appliances. Most women, the kitchen is their space. Although, I'm no Martha Stewart as far as cooking however I paid for an updated kitchen. This is a supply chain issue, however Pulte knew for months about this issue and didn't inform me. Having mismatched appliances in a kitchen may be cool for some else but not my style. It is equivalent to having different tires on a Lexus. You have tires but some thing doesn't look or feel the same. I would have been willing to purchase my own oven and microwave to have matching appliances. Just a thought for future purchasers. ... More

After this experience, it is clear that Pulte takes pride in their build. Their team clearly communicated, set the right expectations and delivered on their targets. I'd recommend Pulte to anyone seeking a professional builder, and highly recommend the sales and builder team that I had the pleasure of working with!

The entire closing process for our house was absolutely mismanaged and terrible. Our construction manager was great and bent over backward for us, but the corporate team members, sales staff, etc. were hard to work with and unresponsive.

The people were great and all were helpful.

We have been in our house for about 7 weeks and the biggest thing I noticed is how best up the cabinets got during the remainder of the build. Our cabinets have so many knicks and scratches. Also, two of the side panels of the kitchen cabinets have what looks paint overspray on the bottom. It looks absolutely awful. It's disappointing because they don't look like brand new cabinets. Pulte should consider covering the cabinets after install to protect them.

Dustin and Diane were excellent to work with. Many last minute issues were pulled off to make sure we closed. They went above and beyond! Im more disappointed with the quality of painting, title work and cleanliness at the delivery of the property. For the price I paid, I expected way better.

I purchased my home remotely and visited for the scheduled inspections. In between visits updates from the crew were few and far between. Many times I had to reach out multiple times before receiving a response. Now that I live on the property, the warranty service is even worse. I have had issues with my condo since closing day that have still yet to be resolved two months later. The team doesn't believe me when I report issues and doesn't schedule the teams to fix it until they stop by which can sometimes take weeks. COVID challenges all of us.

I appreciated the step by step process by construction and leading up to closing, but then once I closed it was all different. My dishwasher was installed wrong and caused major water damage. This resulted in my hardwoods being removed and replaced during my first week (the very next day I closed). I couldn’t properly move in and access my kitchen for days. There were many issues with how the home was completed with an overall “sloppy” completion. Even when workers were sent back out they did not fix it properly and had to come out again and again. I still have unresolved issues. I have to keep asking and follow up on unfinished work and do not feel that I got what I paid for when I closed. The communication is weak and quality of the finished product is disappointing. As a first time homeowner, I walked into a mess and was completely unhappy my first week when it should have been a happy first week. Now a month into my first home, I’m still trying to get concerns addressed and my home finished. For example, I paid for screens on my siding doors and they never were installed. That’s a month without them while they were paid for and I had to point this out to Pulte myself. Sprinklers were not installed correctly and in the wrong position and I’m still waiting on this repair and cannot use them until they are fixed. Scratches and stain on my kitchen counters. Bath tub dented and scratched. The list continues. Pulte keeps telling me to wait or that they are working on it, but I lost trust in the process. I have to be the consistent reminder and stay on top of every detail. Overall, I am having to take time out of my work schedule to schedule repairs that should have been addressed during inspections. Everything in our home was done really cheaply cabinets installation ,kitchen island !! (0,5 inch gaps on both sides terrible job! .For the price of the the development craftsmanship is terrible , walls are crooked;anything in the condo was done cheaply and without the second thought (design and placement of electrical outlets are terrible!!) Steps are not wood but some kind of wood chips mix ?) and not really safe -they are moving under foot( they are not aligned ( basement and garage)and really menace to safety! Windows are not working properly.Construction manager is trying his best to help! he is real professional (but It's little too late to fix that project)View is great for sure! ... More

It was difficult deciding what title to give this review. Not for a lack of options, but because we had a hard time identifying which horrible detail stood out to us the most. The initial sales agent was wonderful but that's as far as it went. From that point onward, it was nothing but deceit, issues, and overall shoddy workmanship. There was little to no communication and no follow through. My wife was discriminated against in not being included in communications nor were any decisions directed toward her. The quality of materials used in the construction were that of defective remnants that you would find at some discount outlet. No one seemed to know what was going on or how to do their job. The foremen spent more time in their trailers (if present at all) than walking the houses to oversee the jobs and quality. When we brought attention to the terrible quality and deplorable workmanship, we were told that, "this is standard" and we have to accept it. To what horrible standard is Pulte building my house? It looks like a child built it. We were also told that workmanship is suffering because of the labor shortage due to the pandemic. Why is it our problem that Pulte/TrustBuilders can't hire, or is too cheap to hire, people who know what they're doing? The whole reason we bought new-construction is because we didn't want a home we had to refurbish. In the end, it didn't matter because we have to do just as much work on this house to fix everything Pulte failed at delivering. Even working with Pulte's warranty department, they are taking cheap shortcuts and sub-par contractors instead of doing the job right.
