Even with all of the supply chain and labor issues we had great communication from our project manager. Our closing was seamless and any problems after closing were addressed quickly.

I closed on my home at the end of Feb 2022, and I still have outstanding items that have not been completed. These were detected in January of 2022. Sad that Pulte rushes to sell home that are not complete and with such poor workmanship. Field managers are over worked and when fix is needed they resort to threats to the homeowner.

High quality home with good responsiveness to service tickets resolution post move-in. We especially love the lot and layout of our Ascend.

This was our first home building/buying experience. The sales, design, construction annd financing teams were all incredibly professional and made the experience seamless. I could not thank them enough for how great the experience was for us. I would HIGHLY recommend Pulte in the Charlotte area to anyone looking to build a home.

The process was very easy and effortless. There was no delays or hold ups on materials. They stayed on the time limit they said they would.

Really take the time to understand your design as you won't be able to make any changes down the road. They aim to please but with so much activity, it's hard to get things done right the first time out of the gate. PM was exceptional.

I was grateful I was able to come to the site and check in the progress of the house every week. The Sales Consultant was very communicative, which I appreciated. I did not experience too many delays due to supply chain issues, as I closed on the house during the closing window I was given when I signed the initial contract to build. A third party inspection before dry wall and before closing confirmed the quality of the construction.

While the home construction process was not without hiccups (not unexpected in times of pandemic/labour shortage/supply-chain issues), Pulte addressed our concerns to our complete satisfaction. We are happy with the final product.

You'll love your new home built by Pulte, just be sure to keep the lines of communication open even if it becomes tiresome. Someone will eventually address your concerns only to make you feel they squeezed you into their very tight schedule. Personally, I trusted the individuals I dealt with during the process, but I was a customer, the feeling of being "we're with you" ran thin towards the finish line.

I signed my contract to build my house with Pulte on November 23, 2020. The building permit was granted on around March 2021 due to County backlog. But the house did not completed until 2/28/2022, almost a year later. What was really bothered me that my house build permit was granted 3 or 4 month before other houses in the block. But it did not get windows before other houses. I got the weekly update from the building manager stated that the widow order was delayed due to nation labor shortages. I know that was not true because other houses that was built later received their widows before my house. Also during the building process, I inspected the frame and drywall inspections and reported my findings to the building manager. But did not see those findings addressed until the final phase. Thus fixes were rushed and the building quality is very very very bad. The closing date was re-scheduled almost a week later to allow them time to fix the issues. However, on the morning of the final walkthrough, they still doing the paint touch up. I almost wanted to re-schedule the closing because the build manager ensured me and my wife that he will have the work done when we return from the closing meeting. Three hours later my wife and I came back from the closing office with my new house set. The key can not open the door because they gave us the wrong set of keys. I had to call the building manager and my sell representative came with the master key to let me in. The next day, we carefully re-inspected the house and found so many issues. The living room ceiling has about 2-inch gap, the kitchen double door wall crocked, the kitchen sink windows drywall was improperly installed, one of the kitchen cabinet cracked, the master bedroom widow crocked, the bedroom 2 window drywall was improperly installed, the paint job was messy, and the floor titles have so many holes. The more we look around the house, the more defects we found. Comparing this new house with the other two houses we built in the past, this one way behind on the quality. It is very difficult these days to judge a homebuilder due to material and labor shortages. The build took close to a month longer than anticipated which caused it's own issues. The labor issue and building materials were a bummer though. We hired an inspector to inspect the construction on two occasions and even he said that the materials and the workmanship we less than average. At this point we can only hope that the warranty process goes much better than expected and we can feel a bit more at peace with what we ended up spending a lot of money on.

Worked with a great job supervisor from Pulte. Was very communicative as we were going through the building process from another state. Had a lot of weekly pictures and phone calls during the building process.

Quality of the home has been great and every Pulte employee has exceeded our expectations!

The homebuying process was smooth but there were some pricing issues that could have been adjusted to ensure a happier customer in the negotiating process. The entire build process was very long (not the normal 6 to 8 months at all) Delays such as permitting, issues with shortages of supplies and staffing concerns due to Covid were a big part of hold up. Despite the long wait I am truly happy with the end result and I am totally in love with my home. Still some issues to be addressed and fixed but so far they are handing these issues very well by assigning a manager to deal with all the post build issues. The quality of certain things such as cabinets could be better especially for the cost of these homes. Great new home buying experience

The building process was great, always in communication with building manager, Carl was quick to respond to any questions and would send pictures because we weren’t able to be around for the different stages. My only issues have been after we moved in. We paid for A smart home however door locks were not installed and Company told us Pulte was responsible for installing them. We closed on the house most two months ago and I still have no smart locks. We’ve had roof shingles come off the house twice in the last month and a screen door that still has not been fixed, which is not fixed by Pulte but one of there contractors. Amy from Pulte’s warranty department has been helpful and quick to respond however I’m still not happy about how long things are taking to get done ... More

You don't get a lot of time for making your choices and they are somewhat limited but we are very happy with the design decisions we made. They handled the current supply issues very well and kept us generally ontime.

Jenny is the best! She was extremely reliable, trustworthy and great at communicating with us. If you needed anything, Jenny stepped up and got it done!
