Make sure you get everything completed before you close. Once you sign off, all the promises to get punch list items correct fly out of the window. I am now on month 2 and its like pulling teeth to get a response from anyone. When I do get a response, more promises that are not fullfilled.

I was in overseas and could not get the inspection check. Site manager has did the inspection and checked everything is good, but I have issues with door locks for garage door, bedroom door, and ground floor bath door has closet lock, and some other issues were reported via email to site manager but no response. Not satisfied because if pulte can’t take care of minor issues then I doubt for major.

If all sales people at Pulte are anything like the one we had to deal with, we would have never signed the contract. Our sales person is only interested in getting that initial contract and then disappears blaming everyone else at Pulte for any delays/inconveniences that arise (even the ones he created).

The was our first purchase of a newly constructed home. We also had not purchased any home in many years and so we were learning a lot and needed help to understand the process and the build. The Pulte staff, from sales, to design, construction and follow up, were and continue to be incredible. They were all very responsive and answered our questions quickly. It has been the worst experience of purchasing a new home ever. Had to get an attorney involved when we were told we did not qualify. Then the workers were told do not fix anything because our home was going to be sold as is. The appliances look like they are second hand they are so bad. Custom cabinets look awful. The whole house was painted with some sort of flat paint (I believe it may be primer). As we were told they could not get paint. My toilets had poop skid marks in them because they left it open for the trades people to use. When we asked for construction trash to be removed ...

Everyone at Pulte made my first time buying a home a great experience. They were all helpful and informative. From me making the bid on the house all the way till the closing day. From the day I put a down payment (my first home) to meeting Patrick during the construction to the day I met Robert for the warranty explanation, this team was amazing. Kristina walked me through all the steps patiently. Robert did a clear concise and was extremely helpful after closing. Patrick is the best. From putting my mind at ease and helping me understand all the construction steps to the closing inspection he more than made the experience worthwhile. Scott is a future leader that should be invested in. His professionalism, organized communication approach and willingness to roll up his sleeves. He had to do work himself 7 days a week because staffing wasn’t available. Shannon was super responsive and we are grateful for her never seeming annoyed by us. Couple recommendations/concerns: Vagueness on timeline was incredibly frustrating. Being told we would get penalized on a mortgage rate lock in if the same company was delayed was frustrating. Took 13 months to build our house when it was supposed to be 5, maybe 6 months. Even then the house wasn't finished when they rushed us to closing. We had them come back twice for cleaning and they still couldn't get the floors mopped, grout off the tiles, construction adhesive and paint off the windows. 2 months later we are still waiting for punch list items to be completed. Pulte hasn't adopted their building practices, especially purchasing, to a COVID world. They just continually use the excuse "because of COVID". The most important thing for us was that the house was ready when they originally said it would be because we were moving across the country. In that aspect, the house was ready when they said it would be ready - so 10/10. Beyond that, I feel like we got what we paid for. It was a spec home (nothing custom) so I would say we got average level attention to detail when it came to finishing the house.

This has been a nightmare from day one. We are a young family moving to tampa from Orlando and were sold a house with an approximate closing date of 8/2021. We forgave many other better products because of this said closing date. Pulte off the back told us we were pushed back to 12/2021 and then later to 2/2022. Marc Taglieri at sales office is awesome - knowledgeable, helpful, caring, honest and most friendly. This is the second house I bought from him at this community. Justin S. is extremely helpful in overseeing the construction process, so is Jack P ,Kylie and Bradley from Warranty/customer care that absolutely took care of any issues promptly. Victoria at design center is amazing in advising our interior options. PGP Escrow officer Alyssa K was super efficient and responsive. All great people.

Bad service and very poor work man ship

It’s been very bad experience, in terms of communication and response. And new house has so many problems ,Including faulty equipment and it’s hard to get hold of people to get issues fixed. And closing has been delayed for months . And after waiting for Months and overpaying interests we still have to face issues like low water pressure and dishwasher, oven not working , electrical issues which cause inconvenience consistently in every day life.

In this crazy time with supply issues and home prices continuing to rise, we feel we got a great house in a new community. I think building with this builder, although we knew supply issues were a concern, they were able to keep the construction going and delays were minimal. Happy with the process. Erick our project manager answered all our questions and listened to our concerns.

Its has been a horrible sales experience and the followup has been even worst. I wouldn't purchase a Pulte Homes property again. I feel that your company doesn't care about their customers and its all about the money!!

Expected much more from Pulte, especially after our second home that was built by them. Quality of materials and build was really disappointing and even more so was the rush to try and complete major issues before closing. Were also promised that major items still pending would be finished within days after closing. Should have trusted my instinct because it is going on 2 months and still no resolutions and we have to be the one constantly pursuing the so called warranty manager to get answers and only to receive attitude and no control over any subs.
