Building a new home is always tough. That said, for the vast majority of the build with Pulte was great. And so far, the warranty work has been handled quickly and very professionally.

Follow up on issues not addressed at time of closing has been very poor. Responsiveness by phone and email has likewise been poor. HVAC was not connected when we closed and neither was the kitchen sink, dishwasher or disposal. Cabinets were misaligned at time of closing and still have not been corrected. What started as an outstanding process has finished very poorly. At this point, I could not recommend Pulte as a builder.

The day I met the builder was when I felt like I really was purchasing a home. The finance team was wonderful as well. However I’m in my home now and it’s going on 60 days and I’m yet still waiting for things to be done in my home which communication has stopped on.

Couldn't have been worse. Pressured to close when home not complete. Once I closed, they didn't respond or fix items they promised they would.

Lack of communication during building process

My house is a nice home, and some issues are being resolved. But they make more work for themselves by not addressing issues brought to their attention prior to completing a job. Ie. site manager told no insulation was in garage prior to drywall installed. Still put drywall up without insulation. Had to them blow in insulation which I feel is not as good of insulation as well as making so many holes in drywall that now finishing my garage walls will cost me more money. This is only one example. It’s issues like this that are dragging Pulte’s quality and satisfaction down. Communication during ...

Frustrating and an overall disappointing experience

While the work and communication with Elaine and Chad were quite good, watching the overall build process was very disappointing. The trade workers did not appear to show any pride in their work and their sole purpose was to get done as quickly as possible without any attention to detail. After move in it has been discovered that most of the products used are of poor quality. We are still waiting for resolution on an issue with one of the appliances that was in the unit. Not what we ordered and paid for. This appears to be coming to a resolution soon.

The quality of home was average. There were a lot of issue in the new home. There are patches of spike obvious throughout the house. Nails popping out from the carpet hurting everyone in the home who is not wearing shoes. Paint is missing on some patches. All electric sockets and switches are crooked. no privacy lock in any bedroom except the master one. Curtain rod and towel rod missing in the full bath. Unremovable lump of glue on the wooden floor. scratches, marks and chemical stains on walls. Poor usage of extra space.

You will get an incomplete home at closing. I suggest hire a home inspector to inspect your home. We had alot of issues, and expect not to get the issues fixed right away. I know we are living in a crazy market but don't advertise high quality when the house is far from it.

Never buy a home with Pulte - Everything is terrible

They are not trustworthy in completing home with quality materials, my previous apartment home paint job was 1000 times better. Fit and finish of pulte sucks. they want to squeeze as much as from customers during the pandemic. Material shortage is just a play they want to do.

The level of customer service we received from the on-site sales agent was exceptional. From the very beginning, through to completion of our home building process, she communicated with us on a regular basis. She responded quickly to all of our questions honestly and professionally, which was so very much appreciated since we were moving from another state and unfamiliar with some local practices. It was a genuine pleasure to work with someone who was so positive, knowledgeable and efficient.
