This is our second Pulte home purchase (the first in California) so we were excited since we knew what to expect with the build process and the overall builder quality. Needless to say, we where disappointed with the substandard delivery of the home. We realize that there have been many issues with supply chain in the last year and we accept delays and substitutions but when the overall quality is bad, there is not much to blame but the builder and subcontractors. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a builder, an yes I have built previously. Project managers were horrible (Zach, Chris (replaced Zach) and Mike the Project Manager over them, unreceptive and did not provide updates as promised Mike Bahr was the worst individual to deal with, he was even more useless than the others. Mike swore he would get all the issues would be completed and forced me in to closing, even though the house was clearly not ready. We had a great experience with Pulte. We realize the building industry is struggling due to supply issues and labor shortages so we were happy being patient (it was out of Pulte's hands). Overall, it was a great experience and we'd do it again when it's time to scale back and build a new home. Everyone was great and we love the home and neighborhood!

Things that were talked about at walk through have not been fixed. Field Manager is unresponsive or promises that someone will be out to fix it but never comes. I have contacted the national office who told me the local office needed to take care of it and I was just circled back to the same Field Manager. Terrible, no non-existent customer care.

If we only knew what we hear all night long in the walls before we purchased our retirement home, we would have bought somewhere else. The model home is lovely and once you're in you are in. What you actually end up with as a finished product is a generally nice home, but for the money you pay, the lack of quality control and the level of workmanship is appalling. This is the 3rd new home we built, and this was by far the worst experience out of the 3. It has been poor communication from the very start. We moved into the house 3 months ago and we are still waiting for items to be completed. We were forced to close and move in before the house was completed. Workers are STILL not showing up for the scheduled appointments for them to complete the unfinished work. Don’t sign closing documents until all repairs have been completed!! We completed our walk trough one week prior to close, pointed out the work needed and we’re promised most of it was going to be done by closing. That was not the case, they completed a few cosmetic touches inside the house but nothing everything. The manager did not complete the walk trough with us until two weeks after we had close and he took a list again of the issues needed to be corrected. Up to this date, two months after the walk trough, they have only completed two issues and only because they were affecting the HOA. ...
