Long delay in permitting, in part due to COVID but also due to wrong paperwork being filed. Closed on 12/30 and on 2/10 found out wrong paperwork was filed for recording, delaying homestead paperwork. When we closed, no welcome or congrats from sales rep. In general appeared Pulte staff have been too busy.

With the material and labor shortages due to Covid, we experienced delays just like most people have been these days. 9 months from start to finish. We even had to close on the house with some things not as complete as the builder would have liked. John has been amazing at helping us get those things resolved and his work is much appreciated. Everyone we’ve worked with has been extremely helpful. I already mentioned John, but Claudia was great for getting answers back to us ASAP and was always high spirited about the process. Many things were clearly rushed and it shows. From paint and texture to incorrectly installed cabinetry to crooked pillars, and everything in between. Trying to get someone to fix the issues is nearly impossible and if someone does show up and it's more than a one day job then forget about them coming back to finish any time soon.

Had a bad experience with being closed before YE, to benefit Pultes books, but not our first home buying experience. The actual closing and mortgage process with Pulte was great! But moving day, the house was filthy, mismatched matte/gloss spots throughout interior, and the list of things that were to be completed hadn’t even been touched. It’s now been almost 2 months and 3/50 things on the list have been completed, but poorly so they need to be redone (e.g., wrong paint and missed spots again, scratched pocket door during install, etc.). Customer Care Great - Construction Not So Much

The construction product was not to standard or what I expected. However, so far, the Customer Care Team (Liz and Tim) have been doing their best to help me fix the numerous issues. I wish the construction and closing team would have done a better job to prevent so many issues post closing specially for an almost $500,000 home. I remain hopeful that all issues will be addressed more than 1 month later and no surprises as I live in my new home.

Dear Pulte Homes, It is very disappointing how there was no clear explanation regarding the tax abatement and mortgage payments. It is clearly an impure intention how Pulte Homes holds the buyers' mortgage payments and pays them back once a year. The whole mortgage process took over a year, but there was no explanation about the tax abatement system until our first mortgage payment. Also, the quality of the house is way lower than our expectation that our construction manager has to come to fix our house almost every week, and it seems like it will take a long time for us to fix them ...

If anyone had supervised the work as house was being built we wouldn’t be wasting our time and Pulte’s fixing and completing items post closing. These things should all have been done pre closing. Closing itself on 12/29 Was a nightmare with total lack of communication.

Process started off great but there was poor communication regarding delays in building process. Main issue is during final walk through several items had not been completed and they were noted on the closing documents. Builder states they would resolve but as of 30 days after issues still not completely resolved.
