There is a push to get you to make design decisions quickly (both interior & structural) so you do not have time to think about things. Wish we would have done different features. There are limited examples of the options available. We worked with our project manager 2000 miles removed from the project & he did scheduled walkthrus via Skype & it worked out great. He was a very good manager. sales office was responsive & quick to answer our questions. there is ABSOLUTELY NO FLEXIBILITY to do minor changes, such as not putting up a laundry shelf or bathroom mirrors. Our home in many respects is a prototype as it is the first one in a new communitee. Local building code issue, design centers lack of complete details on the project and other small details that need to be addressed will answer the questions related to our overall experience. The above "Star" ratings should NOT be considered a final rating, only a rating on the process. We have every expectation that the final rating will be a FIVE plus. Pulte homes are a good value. The neighborhood is great, quiet and safe.

Perform a thorough walk through before closing and clearly document any items requiring repair by Pulte.

Painting has to be better

Once in the home, my customer care rep has been super. Helpful, understanding and attentive to details. My only issues are with the purchasing process. I was told some things by the sales rep that were not true and the whole buying process is geared to designing and building a home. I purchased an already constructed home but had to follow the same process as someone who was building. That simply does not work well and is quite frustrating since you will find yourself making decisions without all the information you want and need to properly determine the best course of action. When you are purchasing something that is already built, you want to first settle on a price, then get an inspection done and then move on with financing. With Pulte you can't do that. Needs to be fixed. The house itself is of very good quality and with the warranty in place there are protections. But I have very little experience on an ongoing basis regarding execution of any warranty items. I am still in what I consider punch list phase but can say that at this phase, customer care has been great. ... More

Quick response to issues. Stayed on schedule to meet the projected closing date!

Good experience in home buying process. Make sure you understand your lot and the grade.

I wish there is better communication among teams working with clients. It would have made a lot different had loan team communicated more with the builders so that everyone would be on the same page rather than leaving the client to figure things out themselves.

I would have given you five stars but there certainly some issues along the way that could have been handled differently.

Pulte were very transparent with us throughout the process and I felt like they looked out for my interests as well as their own. The home is fantastic and we feel like we got good value. The sales rep and site foreman were both extremely professional and helpful. I couldn’t recommend them both more.

The experience of building a townhome in Retreat on the Monon was ideal! Selection of materials is on site, and very nice quality, even the lower priced materials. The project manager was very approachable and clear on the explanations of the property. Our home was completed 2 months ahead of schedule!!!

Check the Pultr Website it is a great help

Project took longer than expected at the initial stage, thus pushing the move-in date up. Had some issues having pre-closing punch list addressed. But overall, a company that genuinely strives for good service, and a very good value for a home.

Pulte Mortgage is NOT consumer friendly. I would look elsewhere for a mortgage lender. I had problems from start to finish.

Overall it's been ok but not fully satisfied experience. More transparency would be really helpful

Great updates on building process, and response by the building team. On time building date.

Everyone involved in the process was professional and helpful in every way possible, I highly recommend to friends and family to stop by and talk with someone, so they can receive the same satisfaction that I have received.

Working with the project manager & sales rep. was a very good experience. They were attentive to our needs. Always patience & helpful.

Overall quality is good. Service to fix warranty claims has been fast when needed.

Great people to work with, ensure that you take pics before and after.
