Overall Pulte Homes is good. However, very hard to coordinate with thing did not go well.

Pulte was overall a great experience it has set the bar high for my next future builds.

All in all it’s been a great build experience for me. In spite of the supply demands, Pulte has been awesome at responding to my concerns and have been quick to resolve any issues.

The entire process was excellent from start to finish. All Pulte representatives were responsive and professional. Build quality and materials are excellent.

Pulte takes quality very seriously.

Did not meet commitment to buyer on building phase walk-throughs. Are not responding to the fix-it list items.

Sales people, field manager, lender all great! Warranty people approachable.

Overall great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. A few minor flaws in caulking/painting/etc, but overall good quality.

Quality of the end product is terrible. When you provide feedback you get yelled at and ignored most of the time as if you have no say. Very poor customer service. Field manager acts as if he is doing you a favor when you approach him with an issue. The contractors make many mistakes and skip important steps in all aspects of the building, if you are not versed in construction you will miss serious issues they create. Very sad!

Our homebuying/building experience has been rough, but the more I deal with Pulte the more I can see that it all depends on who you get. We have seen some Pulte representatives be absolutely amazing, while others make you hate life entirely. My only advice if you are moving forward with building a home with Pulte, is to meet all the people that will be involved with your build. If a single one of them don't seem like they are going to be amazing, then run as fast you can! No one that we have meet at Pulte has just been "ok" at there job. They are either the best in the industry or the absolute worst, so make sure they are all winners before you sign the dotted line or you will regret it. Trust me! ... More

I had a very good experience. From first day to closing, I was happy with the buying process. Our Sales Representative and Field Manager were very thorough at explaining things and responsive to all our queries.

This is our first home, we were able to design it and watch the build process throughout which was very comforting. It is a beautiful home and I would recommend Pulte to a friend.

Before Purchasing Pulte home i had a great impression about builder but after seeing the construction i lost the impression that Pulte can also build worst way. Not sure what made to bring lower quality to my home. Ceiling fans when chose during design options was not placed and placed with very normal ceiling fan. Every homeowner dream about their home in great way so will chose the builder. Thats OK. I hope Pulte keeps quality for next homeowners.

There was work finished after closing and the house was left in a mess. Paint spilled on the floor in pantry was the biggest issue. Then I went to cook and my stove shuts the breaker off every time I preheat it. (It also happens if I plug my toaster oven into that side of the kitchen so it’s not the stove. The electrician finally came after a month of complaints and missing the first appointment. He insists it was the stove and told me to call whirlpool (who told me they’d call back, which hasn’t happened yet). And the electrician replaced the breaker just in case. It can’t be the stove if the toaster oven causes it too so I have no way to cook in my kitchen and I’ve been here a month and half now. I’ve called the care center and complained on instagram and gotten no where. If I could give pulte all negatives I would except on construction. This is a quality built house ... More

They were ok to work with.

Pros: Overall layout and style is nice, good selection of upgrades Cons: Pandemic delays (our house took 16 months from initial deposit), low-quality subcontractors (lack of attention to detail, fit and finish), lack of quality control (we had to be the ones to catch quality issues at closing, resulting in many fixes after "close" and additional months-long delays), lack of communication and coordination across Pulte construction, mortgage, etc (we did a lot of work chasing down closing details) Overall: We're happy in our new home, but worry about what corners were cut that we didn't catch

The pulte service is good

Build is good. But long time to complete.

I opted for Pulte because of the name, However, it is just an illusion. So many issues in the house and no one responds in a timely manner. We just have to follow up again and again, however, no one really cares. Pulte just wanted to close on the house and we got fooled thinking they will take care of the issues. But we were wrong. For example, Just a month after moving in, there is a big crack in the basement foundation wall and water is leaking inside the basement. Sad part is, no one from Pulte came to look at it. Lot of other issues, which I am following up but no one is responding now. I don’t know what to do yet, the only option that I see is to get some legal help or post the feedback in social media and media with videos and photos. The only reason I bought a new home was to avoid any hassle for couple of years, however, selecting Pulte for building a new house was an incorrect decision. ... More

Pulte house itself is a good choice, but never use pulte loan. Before considering getting the poor incentives from the builder’s own loan company, please google Pulte Loan reviews and see the customer comments on yelp. For my own horrible experience, I’d like to give it minus star if I can .

I realize that many issues we had were out of the hands of the builder with COVID putting a strain on the entire industry. But my frustration with the lack of communication during the building process. With our last build (before COVID) we had four walk throughs of our home as it was being built, we knew when things were happening, with this one we had 2, one was technically our final walk through and our house wasn’t even close to being done (with us closing in two days). Again, a lot of this was due to us building during COVID, but living over an hour away, I wish they had told me not to come saying the home wasn’t ready. A lot of the issues we pointed out before close weren’t dealt with, we had to reach out to our warranty specialist, such as finishing painting our house, fixing our lock on the front door that was installed incorrectly and fixing a leak on our secondary bathroom. It was definitely frustrating. Thankfully the warranty team has been very responsive, and has worked with us to make our home what we wanted. To anyone looking to build with pulte, I’d say really review your options and maybe don’t build during COVID. ... More
