Make sure you double check all your sales options from the very beginning. Mistakes can be made and you have to live with them. Our construction manager was awesome and easy to work with. We had a contractor come into the house shortly after it was built to do some work for us and he commented on numerous things that were done very well in the house, which made us feel really good about the purchase as he didn’t have to say that. The sales consultant, Lisa, and construction manager, Charles, are awesome and worked hard to ensure my process was smoith. I had a horrible experience with Pulte Mortgage and wouldn't recommend using them (although the incentive makes that difficult). The mortgage process is why I didn't give 5 stars. Lisa, Charles and the rest of the team deliver consistent 5 star customer service.

It took a while to get started but once we did the purchase part was fairly simple. We did have major concerns regarding our lot and the final look of it. Transparency was a huge issue. We were offended by someone from Pulte while trying to resolve the issue and ended up going to the city for help. Our sales contact was relocated after we bought and introduced us to her replacement. Home is Beautiful, Builder very attentive, Financing in Dallas Office wonderful helpful and attentive BUT, home financing office in Colorado never picked up their phones, took an act of Congress to get a response via email or phone! We started our Journey in July 2020 and didn’t close till March 2021! Our credit scores were 600’s-700’s, so experience may be different if you have 700 & Above.

If we had to use Dayna, sales, again for anything we would not buy, build or even think of owning a home. Working with her was the worst experience for us. She continued to call my fiancé by my last name and Jose when that isn’t even his first name either. Matt, our builder, we would work with him on any home at any time. He was amazing and followed through every time and timely.

He took his time to explain everything to us along the way and was very responsive to questions and concerns. We love our new home. Our experience during the sales process was not good. Jessica was great and so was the salesperson we talked to from the Avon Lake community, but Tom was incredibly rude to us. The experience was ok overall, but the main detractor was the horrible mortgage process. Poor communication and a flood of last minute document request was extremely frustrating and made me want to abandon the sale altogether. I’ve since purchased another home two doors down and I am SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING WALKING AWAY FROM THE BUILD AND LOSING MY MONEY. The quality of materials is horrible. This is our second new build we have purchased and while some of the features of the house are better than out first, there are details that are needs improvement. Visible dry wall tape that has been painted over in the owners room. Dry wall corners that is protruding/bent through the wall texture. The floor in the owners room excessively pops/shifts near the closet, the same closet door sticks. floor shifts/pops right in front of the balcony door. Pulte has a good reputation to be a good home builder. After coming into the house there was a few worksmanship issues that I had to fix such as paint on the floor not cleaned up, lots of gaps in moulding that you will have caulk yourself. overall its a good company but I really wish they progress more into eco friendly material as closed cell foam instead of loose white fluff, more premium standard materials and maybe be have solar energy standard accross any community they build instead of have legislation forcing them too. Conclusion its a good buy for people on a budget.

Options were limited, would have liked to have seen more and more consistency with options. Supplies changed quickly and created anxiety having to change from first visit with designer from the next. Pulte insurance options were a joke, poor customer service, inaccurate and poor to no follow up when exploring this option

Our experience with Pulte has been okay overall. The home is not bad, but it’s also not what I would consider top-of-the-line. There have been several issues early on that took away from the “new build” experience. The biggest concern has been the HVAC. There is often an 8–10 degree temperature difference between the main floor and the second floor. The HVAC company has been out four times, and while adjustments have helped somewhat, the issue still isn’t fully resolved, which is disappointing in a brand-new home.
