We are happy with the home overall but we were disappointed and frustrated with the buying process. Too many people associated with the purchase of the home. Mistake made on husband’s Social Security number. When we received phone calls and we had to return call it took sometime 6 hours. Also we would receive documents that needed us to fill out and sign at like 5:00pm with expecting a quick response.

The overall workmanship of the home is not good, especially for paying over $300 per square foot. I closed on my house 6 weeks ago and still do not have a bathtub for the master bath and many other issues that were noted during the final walkthrough are still not resolved. Timeliness and responsiveness of correcting the issues is an issue as well. I would not recommend using this builder. They cut every corner possible to save money for themselves.

Pulte is not interested on building a quality home, too many issues not address and lack of supervision. I have bathrooms without the silicon on toilets, showers, overall paint was not apply correctly, it needed to be sanded and then paint, floor you can feel is missing something because when you walk you feel a hole under the floor, cabinets have a lot of cracks and missing soft close, my island in the middle of the kitchen shakes when walking around it. We closed on our home 12/30/2021. There is a myriad of issues with our home. The warranty department is overloaded with other homeowners with issues. One of our neighbors has been dealing with the same issues for over a year. John, head of SWFL Pulte warranty, says they have 47 people working in warranty. I suggested that Pulte hire more construction managers and better contractors vs. trying to deal with quality issues after. Why? Because the warranty people doing the warranty work are also subpar. We've built multiple homes, and the honest truth is I would never buy another Pulte ...

1. Mortgage terms not made transparent upfront until last moment. Rate was higher, builder incentive was applied to items that mortgage company should have paid anyway. 2. Pressurized to close with BAD work finish. A big number of issues like broken cabinets, doors, holes in walls. Still waiting for a bunch of items to be fixed, more than a month after closing! 3. Closing company failed to provide documents before closing date and will not allow you time to read documents during signing. Looking for a handy man for what was supposed to be a brand new home! Only positive reason for value ...

From start to finish we encountered numerous problems. Most being the lack in quality of workmanship. It’s a shame a home owner has to point out problems multiple times and almost harass the company to get anything done. Then when it is done, it still isn’t done properly and we have to once again make a point to show their imperfections. As I understand we are still living through a pandemic and will continue to be for a while now, the excuses we’re getting old and frustrating.

With the number of issues we found during the inspections and walkthroughs, I am not confident that the house is of good quality. I now question if there were things we missed due to the shear amount we did find. It leads me to believe one of two things, the project manger saw the things that were wrong and didn't care or he had never done a walkthrough before showing us the house, both of which, are equally frightening.
