There are so many things to share regarding my home buying/building experience. I have built a Pulte home once before and had a wonderful experience. I wish I could say the same for this time around. I feel like my home was so rushed that the craftsmanship is not what it should have been. Before closing there were so many things that needed to be completed which we agreed they would complete but many still have not been done and I closed over a month ago. We were pushed to close on time even thought the morning of closing the house wasn’t 100% complete. We were not in a rush and we’re happy to wait until the house was completed. They were still tiling the backsplash and had several other loose ends to wrap up. The majority of the obvious work was completed but it took weeks to finally get a cleaner in there to finish everything up. After we occupancy we had a major water backup issue. The house looks great but the built quality was really disappointing. It’s been almost three months and every week something is discovered broken, damage or not done properly. Whenever I get work crew scheduled they don’t bring the right tools because they weren’t told of the issues correctly which leads to several rescheduling. Overall the communication during construction was consistent as the construction manager kept me in the loop. However, build quality was lacking as the paint job was poor along with some of the interior finishes, for example, stair railing, door installation, and appliances.

We purchased a home in 2021. The entire buying process was okay, nothing stood out until the end. We could not fly in because of covid and the closing experience was bad. They tried to give us a virtual walkthrough but the video quality was terrible and very few issues were detected. When we arrived, I made a list of a lot of issues I detected in the house. A LOT. We had a great experience. Ryan our project manager was excellent and kept us fully updated on progress. We bought and build virtually due to pandemic and we were impressed with quality and finish. Highly recommend Pulte.

We understand we are living in unique times with unprecedented challenges. That being said Pulte has failed in their production and delivery. For the most part the employees are well intended. There were minor problems with the sales department and mortgage department. These were normal and generally handled in a professional manner. Unfortunately, Pulte constructions has not adjusted to the current economic conditions and challenges they present. We were pretty disappointed in the condition of the home at close. We found all kinds of issues with the painting and we find more every day. Lots of dings in the wood that were just painted over, a poor paint job overall with many areas were the paint ran down the wall or peeled away where a door was closed with wet paint. So many painting issues that we’ll probably need to repaint the interior ourselves. DONT BUY WITH PULTE HONES -THE WORST

Worst experience of our lives changed so much on us. Extremely rude sales team, Kelly and sales manager mike. Regional president did nothing for us (k Christopher son) they all cover for each other. Most importantly workmanship is terrible took tons of pictures. We are re finishing a lot on our own so the house can look of descent quality. Couple bright spots on the construction team who worked with us to resolve everyone else’s mistakes. If you don’t care for quality and being just another sales number buy a home with pulte. I would do a ten times better job running this company.
