Very well defined product and process. That said not a great deal of flexibility in offering and delivery which is fine if that is what you seek. They are good at what they do, and they do it again and again!

Pulte homes are very functional and have great open floor plans. I'm overall satisfied with the purchase of our home, but if you are looking to purchase a Pulte home be aware during the final walk through. I started noticing the the quality of the paint, tile and overall build which is not excellent, but average.

Keeping in mind that this is a tract builder, the experience was fairly good. The construction foreman and sales agent were both vey good to work with. The foreman addressed every issue we had during the construction. I will say that if we had not been diligent in our inspections during construction that the experience would have been much worse. There were multiple issues that needed to be corrected as we went along. Having said that, everything was corrected to our satisfaction.

Pleased with Pulte Home

Overall, Pulte builds a good home. The one area we were not happy with was the quality of the finish trim work - too many gaps and too much caulk used to hide mistakes. Our field manager was OK but not overly responsive. Workmen were very sloppy. Strongly recommend with Pulte or any of the big builders that you visit the property at least every other day to make sure things are done properly. Would not recommend having the home built while you are living elsewhere as you will likely have a few unpleasant surprises when you show up for the closing.

Pulte does good work. I would recommend buying a home from them.

Our build manager was absolutely incredible. So responsive, attentive and thoughtful throughout the process.

Tyler the job supervisor is great however the vendors are not. The appliance vendor is terrible. They set the refrigerator with shims instead of leveling t without telling anyone. Then they broke off a support leg without telling anyone. They came back and left the frig set 2 inches higher on one side than the other. Finally the came back with a new frig. They damaged the walls, railings and floor transition in the process. They got dirt and grease all over the doors, frig and cabinets without cleaning them up. Miserable vendor who should be fired. Quiet neighborhood, good quality homes for a decent price.

The homes and community are very interesting. You can count on Pulte to finish what it started, unlike other builders who initiate a community then end up leaving parts of it to another builder that the community looks hodge podge in the end. The sales and design process was great, but execution leaves more to be desired though.

Pulte homes come with average standard options. The model homes give a false impression of what a Pulte home actually looks like. There are many options to upgrade with prices that are very expensive. The home was built very quickly which was a benefit. However, there were numerous repairs that needed to be made due to poor quality work in some areas. The construction managers were responsive to correcting our concerns.

The house is nice, a few issues were found and are being addressed, quality was overlooked for time it seems in parts of construction. The hoa fees are high, especially for the area, and there so far is no reason for this...no play areas, garbage not included, and a gate that is only closed evenings. Not sure what we’re paying for in regards to hoa

Generally speaking, Pulte's standards are high and their responsiveness to issues is excellent; however, there is room for improvement when it comes to the supervision of subcontractors/business partners during the final "finishing" construction phase. Some finish items need more attention to detail: carpentry trim work, final painting (we had lots of "overspray" at the crown molding/wall area; crooked electrical switch plates; granite not polished (rough edges); landscaping selections don't fit size/scale of yard. The worst issue we encountered was an improperly installed door threshold/quarter-round trim molding that our small dog caught his paw in, twisted and ruptured a disc resulting in emergency spinal surgery. If the installer had taken five extra minutes to fix the "gap", there would have been no hazard. So, as stated above, more attention to detail needed with the subcontractors performing the finish work. We especially love the modern layout, the generous room sizes, the flooring options and the master bath is fantastic! Pulte has extremely high standards overall--so work with your construction representative and field supervisor closely to ensure the finished product meets their high standards and your overall expectations. We love our new home, but the process has had (and is still having) its moments of frustration. Didn't really feel that the sales team was super honest. We were pushed to sign our agreement with the insinuation that prices were going to go up and lots wouldn't be available if we didn't sign right away. They didn't and Pulte came out with a free pool offer and 50% off upgrades 2 weeks after we signed. We asked for a pre-drywall inspection, and had severe pushback. I was close to backing out of the deal and they finally allowed it. Getting a final inspection done prior to closing was difficult but manageable. We have multiple kitchen and bathroom cabinets installed with deep, visible scratches. Pulte agreed to replace them during our final walkthrough, but it has been almost 2 months with no replacements yet. Kitchen cabinet/countertop caulking cracked within the first week and was repaired quickly. The whole community was installed with the wrong size toilet seats. Picky I know, but we have already had to have one replaced because it broke a hinge due to the cantilever. They did replace the toilet seat extremely fast. My front door was missing one side of the seal. I should have caught this during the walkthrough but I think it was removed to touch up paint and never re-installed. We had zero say in the landscaping, which is laid out horrendously. Probably one of our biggest areas of frustration. The "fully mature" landscaping to cover the AC and Pool Units are not "fully mature". We have a pine tree placed directly in front of a window. Hardwood tree placed right next to the driveway. Other minor things we have experienced. Lack of an elevation survey provided to use for flood insurance purposes. It took weeks for USPS to recognize our address. Still having issues with 811 recognizing the address to come mark utilities. I will say that our construction manager was fantastic. He answered every question and walked me through the process along the way. I felt like he was on my team. Overall we love our house, we think that structurally it is well built. We think we got a decent value for the price paid. Pulte has been responsive on small things that needed to be repaired, but have not followed through on larger things as of yet. Their customer care process is easy, just annoying that you have to submit for every little thing. Dealing with things that should have been taken care of before closing is frustrating. ... More

Most of it went well, apart from some closing details that I won't disclose here and have been discussed with Pulte's team during closing. Still learning the details of the house and getting minor details adjusted. So far, the experience with the building/aftersales support team has been pretty good.

Construction manager Keith is amazing! He was very responsive to my questions, very detailed in explanations and provided all the necessary paperwork

I am a second time home buyer. I enjoyed my home buying experience with Pulte. They are thorough professionals. They are pricey. I got my home constructed and delivered sooner 2 months ahead of the promised timeline. The Pulte mortgage, Pulte insurance is an add on that they offer and I opted in as I got discounts. My overall experience was good.

I have identified several workmanship quality issues, including chipped tiles, which do not reflect the level of care expected in the construction of my home. It is disappointing to see evidence that suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality during the building process. I would appreciate these items being addressed to ensure the finished home meets the expected standards.

Was willing to pay for additional upgrades but not available. Not a fan of having to pick a package for trim. Interior paint job, and application = poor Front door frame/door not aligned properly. Sunlight, wind can be seen coming through seal. Settling occurred in the first week with 12” crack developing over patio door installation on interior wall. 3’ crack also on back patio cement porch. Upgraded kitchen hood not installed properly with water seeping in when raining. Looks like aftermarket job.
