Unfortunately we moved it without things being complete. If we didn’t close we could have been pushed out of our home buying due to the equity in the new build that was so high due to the 13 month build time. We are left with appliances that were not selected, tile that is way uneven, no cabinet door, no screen doors, no grout in the pantry, grout in the kitchen that was stained during build by trades, carpet not secure, door hardware not complete or installed incorrectly, windows that were not cleaned and covered in materials, and the list continues. Buying process was a cinch. There were delays but nothing out of the ordinary. The construction aspect of the home left much to be desired. We have encountered numerous issues already (although Rich and the team are wonderful in their responsiveness and willingness to help) and have been disappointed that we've had to deal with these things in a new home.

If you are a person who cares about attention to details then pulte is not your builder. Stay away from pulte unless you get good price deal

The entire process from start to end was a horrible experience. The only reason we continued with the initial purchase was because the original sales rep was fired so we assumed everything else would start to fall in place (along with loving the model home). Pulte sells a fake reality, our home has so many unnecessary issues and is not comparable to what they are selling; quantity vs quality homes. Construction was fine until then the last few months and our closing experience was horrendous (pulte made every excuse, blamed others, couldn't find keys, had incomplete final walkthroughs, etc, ...

As one of the top-rated real estate brokers in Sarasota-Manatee, I have worked with most builders in the area. Pulte used to be my favorite national builder, but I can definitively say I will NEVER build with or sell a Pulte home again. I just built with Pulte in Sapphire Point in Lakewood Ranch, and it has been the worst experience imaginable. I closed over two months ago and am just now moving in because it has taken them that long to attempt to fix many of the seemingly countless problems with this house. Very easy to work with from the purchase, design, construction and closing. I'm also finding the home is very energy efficient compared to my previous home. The also delivered on schedule despite all of the delays caused by the pandemic.

My entire experience was bad from day one, I had 2 conversations with my sales rep and never met her. Was told I would get updates from construction Manager as the home progressed through phases, never got an update, luckily I was smart enough to include a realtor in my transaction. The only progress reports I received was her picture messages through windows when she was in the area. Materials and craftsmanship of the home are of the lowest quality, not a single wall in my home is straight, windows are the lowest grade available, opening your curtains will change the temperature of home ...

Stone veneer on front

We were very disappointed with the stone veneer on the front of the house; it doesn't go all the way to the ground I haven't seen any other homes in this development with the stone veneer. All the homes with brick or siding go all the way to the ground. We were told something about water seepage but that was incorrect. We were told it was a code thing but the inspector came out, he said it had nothing to do with the code. And then we were told that that's just the way Pulte does it. It looks absolutely horrible! I can't imagine that Pulte would be proud of this. No one from Pulte has offered ...

Very bad customer service and false information

The quality of the work is very bad and upgrades not included. Broken cabinets missing upgrades since day one and until now not addressed. Items with the issues on the floor, they were supposed to be replaced in days and no one showed up, then they indicated that they will grab from other units to address and nothing happened. Running paint on multiple areas which indicates unprofessional workmanship. Issues with the electricity until now and at least one of the people send indicated that he was not licensed. Other issues with the unit which indicates things were rushed and original date ...

Overall I am very satisfied with our purchase. I would say the disappointment comes in the details. I wouldn't close on your home until every defect is corrected. It's been 3 months since I closed on my house and I still haven't gotten corrected several things that should only take someone a few hours to come and fix.
