Our first Pulte home purchased in 2014, was an impeccable experience with John S. and Gina M. I wish I could say the same for this purchase. Working with Kristie G. we needed to correct her clerical errors. Alex A., field manager, seemingly turned a blind eye to a myriad of issues: hot and cold water in master bath switched causing almost a scalding experience, over a dozen electrical outlets which were installed faultily, one particularly over the guest bathroom sink which came out of the wall, sloppy stucco work which needed correction, broken pavers and scraps used to "finish" the driveway, uneven flooring causing our refrigerator to lean forward, a sloppy floor installation looking nothing like the model photos we saw regarding pattern, cracked grouting in kitchen and guest bath, sloppily finished vertical wall grout in guest bath, unlevel flooring in our entranceway, sloppy exterior paint around rear windows, incorrectly measured gourmet kitchen cabinets, sloppily finished sidewalk, a two inch hole in the center of the garage floor near entrance allowing anything to crawl under it, gutters in one spot that were not attached nor finished off, no heat with the HVAC system, second quality kitchen faucet (three different colors of brushed nickel), and a loose water faucet in guest shower. It is my feeling that a significant amount of the tradespeople fell under an umbrella license instead of being licensed, skilled and experienced themselves. This was pointed out by one of the tradespeople who later came to begin corrections. The upsetting aspect, being elderly with health issues, is that we have had to allow so many workers into our home during a pandemic to correct what needed to be done correctly before closing. We tentatively face having to have our kitchen floor cement grinded down with the resulting dust, harmful to inhale, and the potential damage it can cause to our possessions and furniture. In addition, our time has been severely encroached upon as a result. We are disappointed almost to the point of heartbroken. We are hoping that Pulte keeps their word in correcting these unnecessary situations which could have been easily avoided with some care on the part of the field manager. On a more positive note, our pool, constructed by Aragon, is perfection. Also, our immediate contact person, Chris T., in rectifying the construction and finish issues, has been attentive and helpful. We thank him for his expertise. The quality of all the materials feel very cheap and the work looks like it was rushed. For the price paid I definitely expected at least a bit more quality in regards to carpets, vinyl sheets in bathrooms and flooring.

Took much longer than promised but the home, neighborhood, and plan is great.

They are highly respected and skilled home builder. They value their customer business and make an effort to earn their trust.

The quality of the home built out was to put it mildly some of the worst workmanship I have ever seen. Very disappointing to have spent so much money for the final product. Started a punch list for items to be remediated in the future.

Pulte should allow 3rd party pre drywall inspection as part of their process to be confident on the build quality. Final Inspection quality should be improved. Warranty issue response time should be improved. Overall home finish is good.

The house design is beautiful. However the construction workers are somewhat sloppy, careless, and needed closer construction manager supervision. After delivery, we found so many construction errors that could have been detected and corrected prior to closing. I do not want to mention error details but the list is long. The good thing is that the post closing construction manager is on top of our requests. He has been able to correct several of the mistakes. But the saga continues… All other aspects of the buying process went very well.

Overall Good Experience So Far!

There are few issues like Since we chose platinum package we have chosen vinyl but there is a gap between vinyl floor and the door frame. Drive way bricks not properly arranged. Also the closet racks all rusted the day we move in. Still following up for the replacement. Someone came to touch up that's what we need. Garage was not placed properly I see the bolt placed on one side unsupported and door hanged somewhere. Guest restroom water clogged within a week. Title floor filings coming out now itself.

Great experience during build phase but terrible customer service post sales.

Overall experience is good, Looking forward for good customer service.

My GC Craig was the best , he kept us on the loop. He took care of all of our worries. We had confidence in Craig and in Stewart in the office also.

John is literally run ragged and has a number of things to monitor and manage per day and can always provide updates because he always has to put out fires. He has had no assistance with it either with exception to towards the end of my build. John did everything he could to keep us up to date on things that were going on when there were things happening. He returned calls at his earliest convenience as well. The amount of issues that we have with the home for which are all MINOR issues and are getting fixed. It’s more so the amount of time that it’s taking to get them fixed, it almost is like the company PULTE just says well you can deal with it you already signed and we got your money, we will do it when we want to. John and David have worked tirelessly to get things done. I went over a month with a bathroom upstairs that had no working toilet because the tank was cracked on install, mind you I closed on November 30, 2021 and it wasn’t fixed until January 11. The process with the building of the home went extremely well. As It is my first new home I didn’t know what to look for as far as detailed work. After moving in which is hard to get done, we started to see things that didn’t stand out or thought would be an issue became one, the tile, the grout was not cleaned properly off some of the tiles which is now dry therefore now as to be scraped off. The lanai post as an opening which was never corrected, granted it’s very small however still noticeably, the window in the bathroom has grout on the glass on the outside which is not easy to scrape off without a ladder. Those are the very small but important matter that I would have paid more attention to and had done before closing. Otherwise very happy with the home. I would still buy another pulte home again. Build was quick and accurate. Minor cosmetic issues, a few mechanical, all addressed in a timely manor.

Push to get us in by year end left some items unfinished or rushed.

Great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Pulte Homes.

I feel that they are too slow to fix the problems we have had

Pulte is great at responding to issues. Eric, at Pulte, has been a great partner.

I would not have closed on this house until ALL items were fixed. We have been in this house now for over a month and there are still many issues left unresolved.

In my opinion PULTE it´s a great home builder

Employees were very professional and responsive.

The quality of work was horrible. The house had a layer of dust and film on all of the cabinets and countertops. I spent 2 hours cleaning out stucco from my half vent windows so that I could open and close them. The toilet had fece stains underneath the lid and the seat. One of the kitchen drawers doesn't close. The cabinet under the sink still has the parts for where the shelf is supposed to be hung, but they just didn't install it. There is paint all over the floor, countertops, windows, bath tub, clothes rails, on the bottom of all of the cabinets, and on the carpet and tile. There is a 10 inch crack in the door frame to the garage, which is supposed to be a fire door and it does not close on its own. Several electrical sockets were open hot. The bath tub has a 1 inch scratch. The handle in the bathroom had a sharp edge that cut my hand open when I tried to open the door. It looks like someone dropped it, damaged it and still put in on. The cabinets are chipped. There are multiple tiles that are scratched on the floor of the walk in shower. There is plastic sticking out from the mirror from when it was installed. The floorboards are dirty and need to be painted. The french doors do not close or lock. There is paint all over them, up to 3/4 inch away from the frame. There is a 1/4 inch gap at the top and a 1/8 inch gap at the bottom of the french doors when you try to close them. There is no door stop fo the left panel of the french door. There are many scratches on the "upgraded" cabinets, some up to 4 inches long. Some cabinet doors are uneven. The sliding glass door has 1/4 inch gaps around the frame and is uneven on the sides. There is a 1/4 inch semi-circular hole in the left jamb of the sliding glass door. One panel has a large defective cats eye. The screen door still had stickers on it and the paint came off when I tried to remove them. Many windows have silicone sticking out from where the glazier installed them and didn't clean up. Several windows have large scratches and bad Low E tint. The double vent in the dining room is so bowed that the super told us that you need to push in the middle of the vent so that you can close it. Using a 2 foot level you can see that it is more than a full bubble off of being perpendicular to the ground. Almost every window has an uneven ledge that really looks bad when you have the blinds closed. There are several spots on the outside of the house that were missing paint near the spouting. Stucco damage at 15 different spots. The front door is missing paint near the lock and handle. The back porch has stucco feet prints all over the pavers. The range hood vent is still on back order. The super did have someone install a temporary one. The heater did not work the first time that we tried it. The super came out the next day and went into the attic and had to switch it on from where one of the workers had turned it off. Pulte staff and sales people are professional and easy to work with, but the quality of the workmanship in my home sucks! I have recommended to all of my friends to never buy a Pulte home or they will regret it. ... More
