We love our new home. It truly is our dream home. If I could change anything it would be the quality of the paint. We have been in for two months and already need to repaint the entire first floor due to scuffs , peeling and drywall breaking off. I don’t want to ding the crews because everyone did a nice job but the paint is the least durable paint I have ever seen .

For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected better quality workmanship. We have needed to have several things corrected that resulted from shoddy work, such as crooked mirror, installation of damaged window casing, replacement of damaged or defective cabinet doors. The cabinets are not great quality, and we paid a premium for the convenience package. The touch up paint the painters used (and what was left for us) does not match exactly, so it stands out. It takes forever to get hot water to most of the house, so plumbing design is an issue. HVAC design is poor as well. We closed with items not finished with their word they would be finished quickly. It’s been 2 months since closing and they still haven’t finished our master bedroom shower. Completely unacceptable and nobody from Pulte cares or wants to help get it finished.

Irrespective of the issues, there was delay by a month, then after purchase, the builder did not keep it up. One month touch and finish, we expected that builder come and finish but instead just they dropped off the paints. I complained that the garage remote openers were not working and none of the guys have come and changed it.

We were told no more basements, so we picked a different model with more sqft. Yet right next door a few months in there was a basement being dug. Poor communication in the end, with completion date being pushed back a few times. Very poor paint job inside, even the touch ups were not good. Mistakes made on electrical outlets and what not, and one that led to a large hole being made in one of the walls to fix it (patch job doesn’t look good). I realize I didn’t spend a half million on a high quality home, but I did spend money on a new home that I expected to be better than what it is. Very little clean up from the workers and see trash and debris on the street all the time. ... More

My opinion of Pulte is definitely lower after this experience. So much of the work was such poor quality workmanship. I’ve had clients build with nearly every builder but this was my first experience w Pulte. We were delayed a week on closing and there was really still so much more to be done. We’ve been working through things with warranty and they’re slowly handling things but a nice completed home definitely would have been preferred. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to wait and had to move in.

There's a huge disconnect between Pulte and the contractors they hire to install and build the home. The small issues are taken care of in an average time frame, but the big issues, they dance around and make all the excuses in the world why they can't fix it.

Not happy with the quality issues with plumbing and electrical. I feel for the price I paid I should enjoy my new house with no issues from the start.

Everyone at Pulte was easy to work with and did everything they could to make our experience a happy one.

The Builders that I have worked with have helped me through every step of this process. They are always very responsive and helpful with anything I may need.

Very please with Pulte, they have great customer service and show that they want to satisfy there customers and make them happy.

This was a first time home buying experience for me and they made the process as easy as possible on my. The sales agent & construction managers I’ve had contact with have been outstanding and made this experience great!

The painting is bad, lots of spot are not fixed although I taped them and showed to the Filed Manager; Over 10 walls are not vertical, most of the trims are curved not straight.

We have been in the house for two months now and no one has come to fix the 15 issues we have sent to home warranty

The house has been great. If there is an issue Scott or the CAC have been quick to respond and come to a solution.

Sadly the quality of the subcontractors’ work was shoddy and needed a specialist team to be engaged to fix the myriad issues in all rooms of the house. The house was nowhere near ready on our “celebration walk through”. Covid supply chain issues aside, there were too many shortcuts taken in the building of our home. We still have unresolved issues 2 months after closing.

Generally speaking our experience has been good. Supply delays made things tricky. Going to the property regularly helped.
