Initial contact with Pulte salesman was positive till we quickly determined he was making mistakes and telling us things that were not accurate. Met numerous workers on the job and none spoke English. Fit and finish of home was average.

Review all the small items that need attention. Chipped door trim, paint missing, drafty windows, squeaky floors, scratched windows, patio door out of alignment, damage to vinyl floor, leaky sink. Etc etc etc.

Not great! These builders are cookie cutting builders , they do not value customer experience and overall workmanship is not great.. However customer service is good though.

Overall it’s a good experience. All staffs were nice and efficient in the entire process. Except one thing that made us feel very unpleasant. Our home includes an upgrade that’s worth about $100k. All upgraded items were listed with their prices. One of the item was a kitchenAid fridge and its highest price I could found on internet is about $2700 before tax but they charge me $4200! I meant if you wanna take money out of my pocket, you should have allocate the profit to something I can’t get its price easily on the internet. Charging me $4200 for a fridge which is worth $3000 at most makes ...

We purchased a new Pulte home this year. I have purchased 4 other new homes previously by other builders. Tho Pulte builds a nice home, we’ve had more issues than expected. Things that should have been identified prior to posting it for availability. Plumbing issues with 3 sewer backups in the first 2 weeks. Drain lines apparently has construction debris in them. A leak between the wall that required a lot of work and remediation to fix. I’ve noticed other issues that will be addressed to Pulte once we’ve confirmed the most urgent ones are fixed. I’d say Quality Control is an issue that ...

The home purchasing process was fairly easy but there was some incompetence and a lack of responsiveness with our second salesperson but the third one was exceptional, very customer-focused, responsive and a pleasure to work with. There were a lot of minor errors in the building process and a lack of attention to detail on simple construction. Overall the experience was OK but it wasn't the greatest. We'd rate the overall experience a 7 out of 10.

Overall construction is good. Fit and finish is ok, the subs workmanship is mediocre. Sink in guest bath not level, front door threshold not sealing properly. Kitchen cabinets are low quality and constructed poorly. Microwave oven broke twice (poor design), use a different supplier. For $600k I would expect better. Design center was not very useful, poor job of helping you understand the finished product and how it will look.

It is very difficult to get problems fixed using the service request section of the website. On several occasions it has taken multiple submittals to get any response from Celina Y. It shouldn’t take 24-48 hours to get something scheduled that’s way too long.

There are lots of things that are great with Pulte. But few bad things will certainly eclipse all good things, especially when you're paying the money and expect good quality. I could write an essay of my experience but in short, it was not bad, not good.. by my home is beautiful.

Didn't seem like Pulte took any of our concerns to heart and until 2 days before closing definitely never showed an ounce of urgency to rectify problems we brought to their attention MULTIPLE TIMES. Maybe that's normal for new build homes, we've not done it before and based on this experience we won't again.

Pulte's communication throughout the buying and building process was exceptional. We always knew the latest status and provided with opportunities to visit a representative in person to view the progress. While the home was of reasonable quality, the details in the workmanship was not great. It seemed the finishing touches were done in haste and we had to make several service requests to fix or refinish. The responses to the service requests were super quick.

We moved recently to a new home built by Pulte. The house is fully functional, but Pulte could have done a much better job on details...there are too many scratches on the walls and doors, some unfinished parts etc. We tried to be very careful at the final inspection and we still missed many small details. Not enough towel supports in bathrooms, cheap faucets and shower...for the money we paid, we would have expected a better quality of work but when you build 20 houses in the same community and the same time, of course we are not paying attention to the details that are very important for ...

Customer care and construction manager, as well as onsite agent are wonderful (Cha, Angela and Sov) materials (except window screens)-excellent. BUT, they should be note discerning of the subcontractors they use-Many walls not square, may air exchange and outlet receptacles not square-cupboard doors not tuned-poor workmanship-I used to be a framing sub-the “nice touches” only take a few extra minutes-I expect better for $445k!
