Buying experience was good. However, not so much with build experience, primarily due to constant turnover of build managers (4) and inconsistent (at best) communication that came with all the changes. Build material quality seems very good, with some of the trades being excellent and a couple substandard. Upshot being we believe Pulte had more houses in construction then they had material availability, managers and preferred subcontractors. Expect the pandemic was a partial cause for some of the issues.

Overall experience up through closing was fairly positive. For a production type home ,Pulte does a good job. But every new home always comes with some after-construction issues. While Pulte goes out of their way to promise that these mostly minor issues will be promptly dealt with, in reality their response to rectify these issues has been less than promised. It seems that once closing is completed they just dont care as much. It's been more than 2 months since we closed and we're still waiting to hear from them on when these issues will be resolved. The lack of input afforded to choose upgrades or make changes. Pulte will sell you an upgrade package with no chance whatsoever to make changes...very rigid system.

The experience was pretty good pre closing; once we closed on the house, getting timely responses from the Home Care Manager is frustrating at times. The Home Care Manager is having to fix workmanship issues that should have been addressed by the builder. The builder doesn't do a good job in paying attention to the final details just prior to the new owners moving in. All efforts 72 hours prior to the new owners moving in should be for the builder to go throughout the entire house to make sure everything is done right and to standard.

I am happy to get in Pulte's home and overall feel that we made the right decision to go with them. However, I find it bit pricy. They need to review their base package of home design and selection to include basics instead of getting those features as part of upgrade options after paying extra. Other builders are offering such features at a competitive price. At the end I am happy as Pulte's bidding process allowed us to get into our dream home, while other builders have long queue!!

The construction with Mr Wesley was flawless. However, once delivered, pointed issues were not solved properly. I am waiting for more than 2 months to get some problems fixed.

The home I purchased was a spec house, so we did not get to pick out any of the features. When I asked if there were changes that we could make I was told no, even though the interior walls were not even up yet. Overall the house came out good and so far any issues that I have had have been addressed quickly.

Overall our buying experience was good from our sales agent Melissa and Luisa our customer service care representative! Due to several delays and supply issues, our building time frame was heavily impacted, Communication could have been a little better. Very Disappointing was the lack of workmanship and attention to detail regarding structural walls, sparkling, painting, door frames and outlets when we moved in. Over all it was an okay experience. The workmanship seems rushed and we don’t feel like it was detail oriented due to it was a bigger company with many units that were being worked on all at once. With staffing changes within the company, as buyers we suffered insufficient communication which lead to some complications with our overall process.

My overall experience with Pulte has been fair not great. I'll start with the positives then go into the negatives. The staff at Pulte Mortgage do a great job of staying on top of the home buying process. I've been in my new home a little over two months and it's starting to feel like home after living in hotels and an apartment for almost a year. We have been in our house for about 7 weeks and the biggest thing I noticed is how best up the cabinets got during the remainder of the build. Our cabinets have so many knicks and scratches. Also, two of the side panels of the kitchen cabinets have what looks paint overspray on the bottom. It looks absolutely awful. It's disappointing because they don't look like brand new cabinets. Pulte should consider covering the cabinets after install to protect them.

I had a great experience through the home buying process, however after closing the experience left much to be desired. None of the walk through items were completed prior to closing. I had to drive through a snowstorm to get to closing as they did not move, only to get to a dirty house with none of the punch list items completed. It has also been a bumpy process getting things done on the punch list and for new pop up items.
