Our builder Dustin was great. Some of the subs seemed to rush to get the job done because of their workload. Some of the work was sloppy, concrete, paint, floors… but Dustin is taking care of any issues in a timely manner so happy overall.

Many issues with the quality. Requested help for repairs numerous times, only to be ignored.

The lot/backyard size is too small, not as showcased in the model home.

This was our first experience building a home and overall, we are happy with our home and believe Pulte built us a solid home. But, the devil is in the details. From the day the foundation was dug to actual closing, our estimated closing date was delayed 6 weeks. Pulte did their best to prepare us for this inevitability because of the current conditions on materials and trades, but it was still extremely frustrating. A week after they committed to a closing date, they pushed it back another 8 days which meant we had to reschedule deliveries and utilities. Throughout the build we noted a few issues, like poor quality of framing lumber (lots of warped boards, bark, splits, and just overall bad workmanship of the pre-fabricated walls. Then, our framing was rained on for a month straight with no roof, leaving all of our interior lumber discolored. Electrical and plumbing workmanship was excellent. Final finishing was a mixed bag - in general the drywall and paint were done well but there were some pretty glaring issues we were surprised to see on final walkthrough. Tile work was sloppy but by the time it was done there was no time to fix. This was the biggest disappointment for us, especially based on how much it cost to get subway tile in our main bathroom. Prices for options like upgraded hardware, lighting, ceiling fan boxes, bathrooms, etc. were generally reasonable but they add up quickly - why aren’t ceiling fans prewired in every bedroom on a home whose base cost is ~$450k? That said, the sales associate was extremely helpful in walking us through options and costs so we had no surprises when it was time to pick out specific finish colors and options. I am not happy with the response of punch list items it is taking to long and no one responds to emails.

The mortgage company is slow as molasses

I've been impressed with the prompt and clear communication from Matt Rankin throughout this process. Jeff McCuster is professional, personable, patient. I never felt rushed. I liked Jeff's patient explanation of the construction process and, with all the delays in the construction world, I am grateful to finally be in my new home. I feel secure with how my home was built. Overall, it has been a very positive experience.

Communication was excellent during entire process.

I enjoyed the complete development of home in Woodbridge. The sales manager (Khal) whom I worked was very helpful and guided me to choose the best options for the home and I must appreciate that he is reachable to answer all my questions through the 8 months of development. Since we were the first-time homeowner, we had lot of basic questions and our Field manager (Aaron) was transparent in explaining and he clarified each of them with no hesitance. His supervision made the home to fulfill our expectation and I would say beyond our expectation. Overall, the whole journey with Pulte was a wonderful experience and as a customer I like the teamwork of Pulte and I was comfortable with the Pulte process. It’s okay not a good experience for a first home buyer

Quality home but final walkthrough issues still not resolved over a month after closing

This builder is all about craftsmanship, but is NOT, be aware of details and installation procedures.

Ryan and his team worked very hard to get us the home on schedule, and were excellent at communicating the entirety of the building process. We are so happy with our beautiful home and really love it. Prior to Ryan and his team being on the project, unfortunately, it did take an unusual amount of time for the home to begin building (approximately 6 months from acceptance of offer and signing for the home) and it was definitely hard to see other homes that sold prior to ours, closing sooner. After our experience we wouldn’t recommend Pulte to anyone. Based on quality, difficulty to work with, lack of transparency, and neglecting to fix things.

Multiple changes that were forced. Terrible experience with builder title company. No follow up or communication post closing. Sub par build quality.....

Incredible experience love Pulte Homes

This was a horrible experience. I chose Pulte due to the longevity of house building experience. My experience made me felt this was working with company just starting off . I will say my loan consultant were great. My construction manager(Kelly) answer every call and email. After the move the customer service contact (Meghan )made sure all needed repairs were done.. the sales person in the front office (Robin) was very unresponsive to my concerns and questions . Only until my brick was cancel and I had to pick a new brick which was another nightmare. The was my 2nd home and it was the worst especially since I was going with an experienced builder. So many methods need to change down to customer picking their options. Customers need more than 1 hour picking options for an entire house. Horrible.. please make changes . I would have cancel if house prices weren’t going up crazy everyday ! ... More

I'm very happy with my new home

We can understand the uncertainty of construction material's supply during the pandemic, however there should be more communication. From the website supposed to be able to sign in and monitor the progress of construction, there was not much updates we could know. The quality of finished job was not satisfactory. The builder seems to be in hurry, speeding up the work without the quality control, left a few apparent defects which shouldn't happen. We had quite a few problems need to be solved, and waiting for field manager to come in, check and correct. Over a month passed, we haven't seen the person showed up. ... More

Excellent and friendly experience so far..

Excellent job for all the teams, construction, sales, after service, and financial teams.

Justin my sales consultant took the time to answer all our questions and kept us informed of the construction process all throughout the build.

Field supervisor Lane was amazing! I was a first time home buyer and he really made all my stress go away. Kept me informed, very communicative through the entire process. It was a great first time home buying experience.
