At my closing I pointed out something that needed to be so done my field manager said he would take care of he promised. He just wanted me to sign off... there are stain drippings on my stair case. There are granite on my floors and paint in my floors throughout my home, there is a deep scratch on my cabinets in my bathroom that I noticed as i was leaving out the bathroom as there was a piece of blue tape there but not addressed. My home buying experience was filled with a lot of emotions. The overall experience was a blessing thanks to my realtor & the lender. Other than building my home, Pulte Homes contributed nothing to making this a joyful moment. I wouldn’t recommend them due to the poor quality in customer service. All Pulte well s concern with is securing the contract. They put up a great facade! They build beautiful homes but the customer service is horrible!

The builder needs encouragement, like any employee. They are very busy and can get side tracked with so many jobs going on at the same time. They are not self starters but if you make needs known sometimes they will work with you. For the most part they cannot custom anything. They have some phenomenal people working for them and that can make any organization great. We had some excellent experiences w/ some staff.

dealing with Pulte Mortage was a PAINFUL experience... would NEVER go through that again. We are extremely disappointed with quality of finish work... drywall and paint work shows little focus to delivering a quality product. Looks very rushed.

I think my over all experience with home part is good but the main thing is the cost of optional items for even very small things. I think when some one is buying new home builder needs to spend default on few things like kitchen backsplash, side/back fences, bathroom soap holders, heated garage door, cabinet knobs, internet cable underground or fan plugin points. These are some basic default things for each home for which cost should be not charge to customer. This thing does not goes well with Pulte being so renowned builder you should consider these option by default in your basic unit. ...

I signed the contract for our home in Nov 2020, before the madness of the housing market really took off. I also signed just as Pulte started doing lot bidding which was not a fun experience and something I'll be mindful of if I ever purchase a home again. Our sale consultant Peter was always very responsive, Leslie in the sales office was very helpful during the initial tour of the model homes. The sales process was good. The construction process mostly trouble free. The financing process was a joke, totally awful. The settlement company was useless, archaic and time consuming processes. Responsiveness to issues after moving in has been awful.

Overall I love my house. The process was a disaster using PULTE’s mortgage company. But the builders were less than responsive. I sent a few emails but never got responses from the builders. The updates along the way from them were non existent. And the design center was the absolute worst. I went with bare minimums due to their lack of professionalism.

The customer service experience was great during the home buying process. Once you've closed and moved in, it's a different story. Prior to moving in, I hired a home inspector to perform an inspection. There were a handful of findings that were claimed to be fixed. The field manager was going to send an email with the pictures showing (roof, attic,) the findings on the home inspection have been fixed. We occupied the property in May. I sent a follow-up email to the field manager and I am yet to receive a response. I understand they are busy but it's almost two months, and yet no response. ...

While the initial process was fantastic- we were soon shifted to another sales agent and a CM who was very unresponsive to our requests and issues at the beginning. I had to go above their heads multiple times to try and get things accomplished- This company will NOT share anyone above them with you- so you have to investigate yourself. While our home is beautiful, there are so many small things that really added up. While the individuals (with a couple of notable exceptions) that we dealt with during the home build process were excellent, we experienced multiple delays in closing (four different close dates were scheduled). Even upon closing there were still several issues that needed to be taken care of and we still have a couple outstanding now. While overall the experience kind of what I expected, we were disappointed in the length of time taken to complete the home (over eight months) and the fact that when it closed there were still issues to iron out.
