Very nice home floor plans & options/interior selections, great structural framing, but poor finish work: you can see drywall seams, dings/gouges in door trim, poor paint coverage on trim (can see nail holes). Won’t do it right the first time, but can do it under warranty after you move in (maybe?)!

After making a deposit, we waited months for our home to begin construction. We paid for an unfinished garage. However, the sheet rock, tape and mud were a mess and required a professional to smooth out the wall and make them paintable. All of this was added expenses that could've been avoided.

Having had a Pulte home built 21 years ago, we decided to purchase another Pulte home.

My experience was good, only I lacked that at the time of showing the property in this case the model house to emphasize what the house does not bring, such as improvements, in this case, better floors, the dashboard, the metal, and wooden handrails, improved walls. I understood that the house was delivered as it was taught to us and when I received it I was disappointed that what I had seen and bought was not what they were giving me and all because the sellers were not clear at the time of showing the property.

The price is fair, well organized step by step experience, the many options you have to choose is very nice but will suggest they add a 3D with all the structural options and the interior design options before committing to the final decisions... it is hard to visualize all and picture the final product.

Overall the whole buying and building process is fairly smooth. However, perhaps due to the current crazy market, we had to deal with too many little issues due to lack of attention to the details and, unfortunately, the fast responsiveness wasn't always there. Some examples: Faucets are all leaking - it has been told that this is normal. Totally unacceptable. Multiple spots on walls with different shade of paint - after more than a month we moved in, is still to be fixed. Poor masonry works. Overall painting works are poorly done. Carpet stained - still to be cleaned. I'd buy again from Pulte? Yes. They offer a tremendous value for the money compared to other builders around. The sales process went well; however, there should be better explanation of options and what exactly each option includes (or doesn't). The model home included some features that were not marked as options but were not included in my home's plan. For example, I purchased the optional spindles for the stairway, only to find out later, than only half the stairs would have spindles, although the complete stairway in the model had them. The home itself is beautiful, and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, follow-up deteriorated rapidly after closing. I understand there are labor and supply issues, but two months after closing some move-in punch list items remain unaddressed. And now I'm being told some things that were wrong at move-in now are "not warranted." For example, the landscapers planted a dead bush, which now is my problem. There are chips in the driveway that are "not warranted." I have not received the correct stove and a damaged microwave hasn't been replaced. I know there are appliance shortages, but I have received no information at all re an eta on these items. I think Pulte's outstanding reputation is slipping, probably due to some factors beyond their control. Don't get me wrong, overall the home is great and most workmanship is excellent. Both Dale and Dylan Pulte’s Superintendents were great. Quality of work for the price was average or below. Had a house built previously for $100,000 more, and quality was 1,000% better.

It is a reputable builder.

The quality of the build was okay. Since we moved in, we have seen some area where the quality was not great. Issue have been handled promptly for the most part. The buying process was great.

This detailed finishing work isn’t what I was expecting. We were left with many spaces, shadow lines, seams and some major flaws in our sheet rock mud. A little disappointing.

This home building experience was different than my previous two. It seemed that Pulte was more concerned with meeting deadlines than making sure the homeowner was happy. We have submitted several repair request that could have been avoided if the closing date wasn't the number one priority. Overall we are happy to be in our home but extremely dissatisfied with the process.

We have painting touch ups that have not been addressed, have not received our refrigerator, there are 3 windows on the front of our house that were put in backwards and not replaced yet, broken irrigation pipe. We moved in April 9th and still waiting for these issues to be addressed.

It was a positive experience!

The buying of our house was smooth and I want to state thet we were consistently backed up in our eventual concerns.

Pulte requires that you buy appliances through them. The washer and dryer were installed and no consideration was given to the installation of a countertop being placed over them. There is not sufficient ductwork, gas line and plumbing to allow working on the appliances. Pulte has yet to respond.

The community grows so fast.

Overall the experience was good. After you move in, the service was ok. It is the home owner's responsibility to contact the individual contractors if there are an issue instead of calling Pulte.

Incredible Sales Personnel who really care about you, the home buyer. And we really appreciated the weekly meetings with our Field Manager (the specific Builder who is assigned to your house). Communication between the home buyer and the builder is excellent. We were impressed that our builder (i.e., Field Manager) for our home had superiors above him who oversaw the building process. ALL Pulte staff were so courteous and helpful. When Pulte says 'the tentative completion date of your house is ____', you can count on it!!

Overall, I’d say our experience has been a solid OK. There was a lack of communication about who was in charge of what aspects of closing, finishing touches, future home issues. Some of the communication problems were COVID related, but then there continued to be issues. A lot of “oh that person told you the wrong thing” kind of situations. Everything that I’ve asked to have fixed has been fixed eventually. It’s hard to tell if this is the experience most people have or if it’s completely a result of covid impacting the business (people quarantined, etc.).

The builder is fast. The quality of materials is poor. The design is acceptable.

Overall the home buying experience was good. The structural, design sessions and the overall timeline for the new construction were good. The construction took less time compared to the timelines provided by other builders. We had few concerns related to structure and elevation related items during and after the construction. The structural one was addressed quickly and the other one is yet to be addressed. Though it is new construction, I would recommend buyers inspect the home thoroughly during the construction to get issues fixed before it is too late.

Love my home, however I submitted a work order within the 30 days period and no one has contacted me to fix the issues. Disappointed in their responsiveness to issues.

Don't be afraid to pick out your own items in the house, even if they don't offer it.

Pulte itself is fine to deal with. The requirement that incentives require the use of pulte mortgage has resulted in an inept mortgage organization.
