Pulte’s trust factor is low. They tried to get us to accept broken, faulty, dangerous cabinets in the kitchen even though they were aware of the problem before I saw the house the first time. I have been in the house over a month, and they have just now replaced them. The yard in the back is nothing but weeds. The cabinets have no pulls on them even though they were not made to be used without them, the appliances are very low grade, and Pulte refused to replace the tub/ shower combo for my son who is disabled and a vet even though I was willing to wait for it and pay for it. The price of the house was raised $100,000 but there are no upgrades to show for it. The homes are marketed for 55+, but I see no amenities inside that make them a choice for seniors. The total buying experience with Pulte was easy, smooth and flawless. Alexandra in the sales office was the absolute best! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and informative throughout the entire process. She is still i contact to ensure all is continuing to be the best home experience ever. The loan department made this one of my all time easiest loans to obtain. The team was in constant contact, ensuring everything remained on schedule to close on time. The construction managers, Ben and Aidan, have been fabulous as well. Aidan has assisted to resolve a couple minor issues and provide expert guidance with my questions. They took care of all the details. The field manager was very responsive, and even helped to talk to our insurance agent to sort out his questions.

Our home buying experience with Pulte was terrific! Everyone involved wit the process was responsive, courteous, and catered to our individual needs. Our new home if very well built with quality features. We are very happy!

We love our home now but we still have a punch list that hasn’t been resolved. Communication during the process was terrible. Went through three different project managers. Constant delays and days with out any progress on home during the building stages.

I had a great experience with pulte from all aspects. The sales manager Donna was very helpful to get us started, the field manager Brad was very helpful throughout the building process, the finance team worked well with the closing team to successfully close the property. We were so excited when our realtor brought us to this community. The sales person who walked us through the house was so down to earth, although he knew so much about the build and the community, he didn't behave like a know it all. He spoke to us like we were old friends, he is the reason my husband said yes to the build. Sales person along with our realtor were very responsive to emails and text messages. The sales person and builder called with updates and seemed to be as excited as we were. I actually miss the chats and updates. This builder includes a lot of items in the price, we thought motorized garage door would be standard, but apparently it is not, Pulte gives you that a long with double paned windows and upgraded vapor barrier, front and back grass, flowers and irrigation and wood fence to keep our boys from running off. Pulte is very good at communication and respond quickly if we encounter any issues than other builders

Every step of the process was easy and streamlined. Customization options were pretty good, and any time I had an issue with something, it was already being addressed.

Slow to respond to issues even if they are classified as emergent.

Hi, I bought a model house and the day of the walk in the refrigerator was broken and asked for a replacement. Since I am in the final phase of loan process they said I have to take care of it. I did took care of it calling whirl pool customer service and they said they would send me a replacement model with a better model since they don't have this model. I was asked to provide receipt for this one. I requested builder to provide the same and they refused to provide it since it charged more than what the original price was (3800$) the original price was $2400. I had to pay extra money from my pocket to go for the new one. I was given the house the most dirty way. I asked for deep clean since this isa model house and plenty of foot traffic. They denied it and said since it is model house we have to take dust along with the house. I have never imagined Pulte would be so rude and harsh for the customers. Currently there is a demand for homes and they wanted to capitalize on it irrespective of the customer satisfaction. There is no clear understanding of who should take care of things that are not perfect in the house after buying. I am writing this with so much regret of buying a house from Pulte. If I had a chance to go back and change my decision, I would definitely do it. ... More

The house had a lot of issues before closing, some of then were supposed to get fixed and they never completed them, we had to submit a second request.

As a real estate agent, our experience was less than impressive. Home was supposed to close in July. Waited over 3 months for siding. Ultimately, we were only given 1 "option" as a "replacement" color. Ironically, I had asked if we should choose a replacement in July. House closed 3 months late, which pushed back the sale of our previous home (missing the summer sales season). Refrigerator was delivered and installed with broken door. Drywall finishing and painting is a 5.5 out of 10, at best. Even though the home past inspection, permitting and occupancy, the Sump Pump was wired on the incorrect breaker. In addition, the electrical contractor placed over 20 receptacles on 1 (15 amp) circuit. Standard "rule of thumb" is 8-10 per (15 amp) breaker. Planted grass and sod too late in season. I will most likely need to replant and seed in spring. ... More

Very happy with the home purchase

The whole experience was great from start to finish. This is our first home we purchase that we got to see being built from beginning to end. The experience was amazing. The field manager explained each step and made sure we understood everything. All questions and concerns were answered and resolved in a timely matter. After closing we had minor repairs which are being resolved as I write this. Thank you Pulte for this amazing adventure in seeing the process of building our Retirement Home.

The experience was great. The staff were professional and respectful. However, the uncertainty on the home completion date frequently put us in difficult positions. We had to do multiple extensions to our lease and had to look for alternate places to live due to the frequent and last minute delays to the stated completion date. Rather than delaying the home 0-2 months prior to completion of the home, we would have preferred a conservative estimate 4-6 months in advance to allow us to properly extend our living arrangements. in the end, due to the uncertainty, we would have over extended our prior lease or would have scrambled to find last minute rentals. Both alternatives would have resulted in extra costs. However, over extending our prior lease would have prevented a great deal of stress and heartache. ... More

2 things - ensure you are putting in cable connections in each room you are going to possibly have a TV - my last provider used wifi - here, with Spectrum, it is a hard wire connection. Second - REALLY look at the light switch location and ordering. The vast majority of the locations do not make sense.

We love our layout and that was the main factor in deciding the home we built. A few things that we wish would have been communicated (steepness of driveway grade they said it was 9.3 but it is well over 13, Garage height we were told something different than the final build height, also felt like the house could have been better prepared for closing, final walk through did not give enough time for all issues to be completed - front door frame not square as an example). Overall we had a good experience and plan to stay in the home for quite a while.
