Everyone i worked with from start to finish was amazing , great experience I highly recommend building your home with Pulte

Our entire process was a nightmare; from start to finish, we had issue after issue: ranging from sales team Inconsistencies to having to change field managers due to poor communication and errors resulting in multiple delays, to new field manager lying about things being completed and when we stopped by to check those items were not completed; preclosing we had our “celebratory walkthrough and the house was a disaster- every piece of wood mangled and chipped, doors peeling and moldy, drywall gauges, paint incomplete, unfinished patch work in ceilings, malfunctioning lights, chipped and peeling handrails with sharp edges. We were told to return in 5 days in closing day to review concerns. On closing day, the paint had been fixed and 2 doors replaced but not painted. The rest remained incomplete and as such we did not sign off on those items. We were informed the crew was enroute as we spoke to fix the remaining concerns. Agree closing, we returned to find none of the issues had been fixed (except the light finally), to which we were told they would be our first thing the next day. Within the next 24 hours we found issue after issue. Things like unfinished stairs the crew carpeted over and tried to hide it when pointed out, carpet tacks incorrectly installed with tacks sticking up in every threshold resulting in multiple injuries to our 5y/o son, ceiling fan outlet they “forgot” to brace the weight of a ceiling fan despite the “standard” of every light being ready and as such nearly falling through the ceiling into my spouses head. No apologies issues until I contacted corporate. It’s been almost a full month since we’ve been in this house and it’s been nonstop issues. We have had 4 people out to fix the stairs (the ones they tried to cover with carpet to hide) and each time a vendor comes unprepared, forcing us to be available from their hours of either 8-12 or 12-4 ( and you must be available or they’ll leave and be rescheduled for 2 more weeks down the road) and sometimes they come early and sometimes they come late and sometimes they stay well beyond their time frame. Again resulting in a full day spent waiting for them to fix an issue that they never fix. Our stairs are still not finished. 4 visits, 30 days, dozens of hours later. All in all, absolute nightmare and would never recommend to anyone. ... More

From very beginning Pulte rep understood our assignment. Deadlines were met. Weekly updates. Transparency. Completed work. Follow up. Building process and Closing was remarkable. First time building and if I had to choose again, Pulte would remain #1.

Overall a really good experience. It’s always exciting building a new home. Don’t be afraid to take them to task in the little things. It’s a big financial purchase…if you wouldn’t accept a dent on a new car…don’t accept a dent on something that costs 4x’s more. Remember for the most part your new house was built by the lowest bidder. Hold them to task. It’s a big company. People move in and out. You buy expecting everyone to be there through to the end. It’s not likely to end that way. Our construction manager at the beginning was great. During the process and closing was different and much less focused on quality. A lot of excuses, no solutions and no responsibility. A young guy just learning…but still, the one in charge. The best thing Pulte could do is train their construction site bosses with the same customer service that the selling agents use to sell. This was the first time my wife and I built our home and Pulte could not have made it easier. Obie made choosing our options easy and was very quick to answer all of our questions. Chris, our builder, kept us in the loop on everything that was going on in the build. The house seemed to fly up and my wife and I are thrilled with our new Pulte home.

Highly advise to take your time and look through things before you sign closing. We were promised thing that were left outstanding would be completed in a timely manner. And almost a month later everything on that list is still outstanding. Even down to them “cleaning” up their construction mess. Every time we call to address we are told someone will reach out and they never do.

I have been in my home almost 1 month and many things still need to be done to complete it. Paint broken window cabinet door no towel racks and toilet paper holders and railing needs to be moved. This should have been done by now. I gave all my money and financed before I moved in. I expect the work to be complete by now.

with Covid, the cost of materials got higher and shortage. They chose paper sheathing for wall instead of plywood. It's not great solution for windy conditions. Reasonable price that I paid so I don't have any complaints but if you have money to spend and looking for high end quality house then please go with better home builder. I would not go with Pulte anymore unless I do have soeme money to pay. I had punch list items to fix before closing, of course they hadn't not fixed and spend more than one month to resolve. Don't rush your design decisions, make sure you know what's included. Just because you see it doesn't mean you get it. Such as standard pool shows handrail, but you don't get one. All things considered we got a very nice home. Your salesman can give you lots of good info.

Build process was fine and Pulte Build Supervisor was very responsive. Basic house construction is good. Detail work not as good. Sub come backs required to fix poor quality initial workmanship. Pulte warranty representative is also very responsive to work through the sub schedule. Overall, even with the finish issues, house is very nice. Landscaping was really nice.

We had a great experience with all our questions answered at every phase of the building process. We were kept informed and given information about how long the process would take and what items might be delayed because of COVID or supply chain issues. Overall, we would buy another Pulte home. The quality and care was there throughout the process.

Can be a 1000 times better communication is the key to success

After living for a month, my garage door broke!

Everything went pretty well. Sometimes the response time for relatively low, especially once we moved into our home we are having some issues getting a hold of our building manager at times and we’re not notified of some outstanding items and what the timeline is until two weeks after we requested. Also the house is drying out rather quickly and there are some pretty noticeable issues with the drywall and some other quality issues that will be addressed soon

My experience with Pulte home is amazing!

Overall it was an easy process. Definitely some things here and there that could be improved upon- paint randomly places, carpet not fully against wall, and baseboard transitions not flush.

Glenn was amazing. Hard to believe he was able to meet deadlines with 2 weeks of monsoon rain, during Covid with supply chain issues and labor shortages. Charmaine helped us initially and was a great communicator. Both made Pulte look good! Every person associated with Pulte was top notch.

Amazing builder, with experience. The Salesman was very professional in the whole process. The loan process with Pulte Mortgage was a NIGHTMARE for 7 months, even though I'm existing owner with Pulte in other place. I was lucky that the Salesman mentioned me about a second loan company that approved me in 2 weeks. After closing I had some warranty issues that were fixed (long process too), but were fixed. In Overall a deffenitly will recoment Pulte as a great Builder.

Home is as promised in the promised time frame

Pulte provided an excellent sales and financing team. They were very responsive, thorough, and easy to work with. My home has very good build quality, and I had a great overall homebuying experience.
