When we took possession of our new Pulte home it felt like they were handing over their baby to us. Our sales person Cathy S. kept pictures coming throughout the build, our target close date was met in spite of supply chain disruptions and our on-site field manager Tommy was also so helpful. Even after the closing I feel like the Pulte family is truly family. We are proud to say we bought a Pulte home.

Go elsewhere. They’ll show an excellent finished product and fall short at execution. If I hadn’t walked the house each week there would have been additional structural issues that would not have been addressed until closing which at that point they’ll promise you anything to have you close. Our closing was delayed due to lack of HVAC oversight leading to water seeping between the first and second floor through walls. We still have several open punch items that have yet to be addressed and we have been in the house for 2 months now. We were told the outstanding punch items would be completed ...

Our over all experience is difficult to rate. We love our home! The issue we have and continue to have is workmanship. It is frustrating to have repairs made and then new mistakes are made. They have to keep coming back, basically for the same issue. The effort is there but execution of the fix is not. I also observed subcontractors not performing to Pulte standards. I pointed it out and it was corrected. I think the Covid situation has also had an impact on our situation and the Pulte crew have stayed with it to make it right!

Salesperson was a great help in designing home and materials used. Our general contractor left to move to Georgia about half way through the build. We were assigned a new contractor who took over build. After we moved in to our new home we discovered many finishing defects in home. After making a list of problems and being assured problems would be taken care of a month and a half later none of these problems have been repaired. These are not structural problems but finishing problems. Such as doors that don’t close. Door handles that don’t lock. Cement work stained on walk way. Sloppy and ...

Everyone from the sales rep to the foreman to the mortgage company were really great. They made the process enjoyable. What was also great was we could see the process of our home anytime we wanted, even with people working.

Pulte tried to ignore major structural deficiency, tried to force us, the customer, to accept poorly installed LVT floor, installed a garage door if less cost than what was shown at the time of contract signing, left a very dirty garage floor with ingrained dirt and refused to clean, and fraudulently claimed exterior grading and sod installation as weather delayed construction at the time of closing and still have not completed the work 6 weeks after closing. There are several other deficiencies that I do not want to include here for the lack of space and time.

"Hydration" cracks in cement in garage, front porch, back porch. I continue to see cracks, chipping, scaling, chunks of concrete missing from garage and front/back porch areas. Repairs have been made once but cracks continue to expand. I've purchased many homes (both new and pre-owned) and have never experienced foundational cracks to this degree. I am continually told the foundation integrity is solid but I can't see how that is true. Even so, the cracks significantly degrade the "curb appeal" of what is otherwise a beautiful home. Given the cost of the home, I'm extremely disappointed ...

I have had worker throw their trash on the ground across from where I live and not picking up after themselves which in turn blows into my yard. I’ve been filling up my own container full of energy drink cans, fast food wrappers and plastic foom. This probably sounds minimal but is turning into a everyday occurrence. What do you think that conveys to new buyers when the new house across the street is covered in trash from the workers. We like the house but you need to do better.

Have not encountered any major issues with our new residence. The only downer is that I received my FOB and I've had issues with it working properly. I am currently still awaiting the delivery of my replacement FOB. My feeling is that it shouldn't take this long to get a working FOB.

Pulte has been closing many homes without final finishes. They need to review little details before closing and finish work before buyers move in. There shouldn't be rush at the very end to close home. There is nothing major but it affect quality.

All of the on-site customer-facing representatives for Pulte were first rate--absolutely superb! Wish we could say the same for the behind the scenes characters who moved up our closing date by a month, costing us thousands of out-of-pocket dollars we weren't anticipating to have to pay.
