We had no heat in the house for the first 3 days we moved into the house. Pulte warranty dept was very slow in responding. Temp in the house was 67 degrees. With 3 small children this was unacceptable. Stacy customer care manager was very adversarial instead of trying to get the problem fixed ASAP. Still having issues with the home and Stacy. Very dissatisfied. Third Pulte home we purchased. This by far is the worst experience. Had no issues with our Pulte homes in Florida. California service is disappointing

Experience with the builder is ok, but they should prioritize to fix issues after the owner move in.

The home is beautiful but I am having issues with the windows, won't lock (it took couple of months to get that fixed) Kitchen cabinets are bit up (damaged), tub in bathroom is stains, home was not clean enough windows are dirty, I notice that priority is giving to expensive home not your regular average home,

Since moving in I have had to have people out every week fixing builder mistakes. I feel like the quality has went down in the past couple of years and it feels like things are being rushed in the building phase and not done properly.

Initial experience was great. Sales team and previous construction manager was responsive. Post closing, no one is responding on the open items.

I have closed my home during Thanks giving. The response from the Sales team and initial Construction manager was very good. They helped me clarifying all my doubts. But post closing, the new construction manager uis not responsive and corporative at all. He denied working on the exception items as he didn't receive it from previous manager and asked me to contact warranty team. I contacted warranty team and received a note that it has been passed to my warranty manager. Its been 2 weeks now and no one contacted me for my open items.

The Pulte staff themselves seem to be good and want to supply the best customer service and home to the customer, HOWEVER all the sub-contractors are absolutely terrible! Pulte really needs to watch who they are hiring. Some of the work is embarrassing. S3, the siding company especially!!! I suggest looking into some other options.

Poor Quality, Never for a Long-term Home

I do not have a door bell. The placement of the downstairs thermostat is behind where your TV is. The light in the kitchen / dining area is no where near where a table should be. Why is the outside spicket in the garage? Also, unless you drive two compact cars, the garage is not a two-car one. It isn’t a bad floor-plan. The master bedroom is nice a big with a function walk-in closet and large master bathroom. Overall, Pulte builds a substandard product with very little attention to detail.

Creaky floors, noisy walls

There are many spots on the first and second floors where the floors make creaky sounds. Walls are not sound proof (not even semi- sound proof). When a bathroom is used the loud water sound can be heard in the bed rooms. Water and sewer pipes throughout the house make very loud sounds. Sound from laundry room is no exception. Regular talk from the first floor gathering room can be heard in the second floor walk-in closet in the opposite corner of the house.

High fire danger problem with the City of Menifee should have been solved prior to giving us a false closing date. We were not allowed to move into our home after it was built due to this problem. We had to stay in a hotel for one month.

Review for Pulte Hilltop Closing

Andy and Ryan were phenomenal as Project Manager/Sales Rep. The trades were beyond horrible with craftmanship and response times. Crooked drywall, crooked cabinets, crooked countertops, and crooked door trim and frames awaited me everywhere on the day of my closing. During the build, the trades were scheduled for a certain day and/or time, which was relayed to me by Andy, but when I would check on the house, that particular item was not completed. Sometimes the delay was a week, sometimes the delay was a month. The trades would also have a punch list of five items that I would present to ...

Finishing work is subpar

We love many things about our new home. We are disappointed with the quality of some of the "finishing work" - sheet rock; painting; trim work; etc. As example, we just had window coverings installed and some windows have the appearance that shades and blinds look not level and unevenly centered when in reality some of the windows are not square. Perfection is not a reasonable criteria but for the price paid for our home we certainly expected superior quality and craftsmanship. The longer we occupy our home the more and more "shortcuts" we become aware of.

Pulte - Watershed Community Isleton model

Overall the homes and the community are beautiful. The exterior aesthetic is different than most builders currently. I fell in love with the open layout design of the Isleton model, particularly the rear kitchen. However, a lot of the luxury options are not included with Pulte as they are with other builders. This is a huge negative. I also did not have a good experience with Pulte Mortgate. Tiffany was good but I did not have a good experience with my loan counselor Ryan and this led me to switch to a different mortgage lender, Truist, during the housebuying process. I am glad I made that ...

For starters, when doing the 2-hour walk-through, instead of getting some explanations all we got were excuses. And to follow that, I wrote all the issues in a notepad on my phone and went back to the property day after day for 2 weeks to see the progress before closing and would see nothing fixed but all the pointed out issues that were once marked, with the blue tape that we were given during the 2-hour walk, had been tossed out and never fixed/addressed. I complained about the upstairs being hot for almost a month and got excuse after excuse only for the issue to be that I had no ...

We started building our house at the peak of housing market. The delivery was as scheduled, and we were lucky to have a good deal on mortgage rates (despite the increase). However, the build quality is poor and we have a long list of items to be fixed. I understand the delays due to supply chain issues, but there's no excuse for the lack of quality. It seems like they rushed things and just wanted to deliver. Just looking at the modal house is deceiving (don't expect the same quality/look). I hope all issues are cosmetic and there's nothing foundational (we'll find out in a few years). We're ...

I had high expectations for this house, but they didn't meet my expectation at all. The construction is subpar at best. The windows make noises when there is even a little bit of wind, there are very loud ticking sounds through the vents and the pipes are freezing when the temperatures are low. This is Chicago, the winters a cold and harsh so a house should be build sturdy not like this. Don't even get me started on the floors, it's all uneven and there are cracks in the celling already. I do appreciate the prompt responsiveness to the issues, however there are too many issues and it's only ...

Love the home layout and design. Construction took forever while the builder was inconsistent and unresponsive at times. Even after moving in...he was given a list of issues needing resolve and he never followed through. The sales office was excellent. Quality of build and issues seen since moving in have been very disappointing.

My sales rep, Jason, was wonderful to work with during the process. During the build though sometimes my house would sit for a couple of months with no work done. Then Andy and Logan took over as field managers and things started to happen quickly finally. All three of these people were great to deal with and on top of things. Once I got into my new house though a few issues came up and it takes weeks for any responses or any one to come out to do repairs. At the moment I have three windows that are leaking causing the paint and drywall to peel, stain and break apart. I reported this issue on ...

The home buying experience with Pulte is well organized for Pulte, but from the buyer's perspective there is plenty of room for improvement. Soon after signing the contract we asked for some information specific to our housing design and Pulte was non-responsive. However, weeks later Pulte needed to alter the contract as they could not deliver the kitchen appliances they agreed to and we refused to sign the addendum until they provided the information we requested. Unfortunately, that theme of trying to apply leverage in exchange for support from Pulte is a lesson we failed to remember. ...
