Pulte’s website advertises one thing and then they sell you something cheaper in price just so they can save themselves money. The windows are cheap, the cabinetry is cheaply made. My house definitely would not win any awards. Plus, Pulte is so good at dumping added expenses in your lap.

The process was good from the sales(Chip was great), design(Don't remember the lady's name but she was great), and build(Blake was good). Unfortunately due to us having COVID we were unable to do our walk-through so there are a few things not done. Now the home is done and we have been waiting approximately 57 days for a short list to get fixed. I have taken time off of work twice to meet the warranty guy and contractors at the house. Our Construction Manager Jim was over the top amazing to work with, he made this whole experience an amazing one for us. We had multiple visits to our homesite throughout the construction process and he thoroughly explained everything to us. Our sales rep Jerry was top notch, we had a great connection with him right away and he was very accommodating. We did not receive the workmanship or quality we were promised and paid for. I am concerned that my home is not worth what we paid. This builder is non-responsive and everyone points to someone else as the reason they do not have time to finish things at my house and for the poor workmanship. We're still waiting for things we paid for but haven't received. We've received countless excuses and ignored completely when we've asked for a timeframe for things to be completed. Working with Jim was wonderful. The building process was great. Love the house. Still waiting for our stove though :( Sales person was not the best and she kept changing things without our knowledge, which resulted in some of our requested options not being done. Pretty frustating.

I see many issues after my closing date and I discover new ones everyday. You need yo make sure that your craftsmanship is high quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I have the switch of disposer in my cabinet. But why? I have unpainted portion of a wall. I had a door that was impossible to lock now I can lock it but door has a bad alignment now. Please make sure you pay particular attention to details.

From the beginning to the end of the process, we had the best experience with our Pulte Home purchase. Sales process was super easy! Construction process was not without a few delays (not unexpected during these crazy times) but they kept us always informed and it went A LOT faster than some of the horror stories I've heard from other folks not using Pulte. The experience was horrible. The loan and home insurance was terrible with several different and unexplained quotes, unanswered calls, and errors. There is zero quality of workmanship and materials. Everything is damaged in some way from improper handling and no care taken to prevent damage. Some examples are : driveway pavers have paint and roof mortar, unevenly framed walls that have humps and curves, paint and caulk on the tile floors and grout, dull paint finish on my kitchen cabinetry, scratches on my windows, stains on my master tub, unlevel window sills by up to an inch from corner to ...

In general, the entire experience with Pulte from sales, to design, to construction and closing was mediocre at best. The left hand doesn't talk to the right, and overall communication and organization was poor. What should've been the most proud and exciting time of my life was 8 months of hell and escalation after escalation. Post-close has been no better, with continued issues 2 months after closing with things like pavers, paint, grading/slope of my yard (excess water pooling) and general poor craftsmanship inside the home resulting in non-stop back/forth with our warranty specialist. Trust the people that are selling the units supporting the units and the other team members even from the processing of the loan. I can't thank Pulte enough for their support, the educated staff and their ability to answer questions on a regular basis through the whole process. Materials seem to be quality but finishing workmanship is not very good. Lots of issues with drywall, baseboards that need to be replaced, tub drains missing or not installed, chipped marble in the bathroom, window frames/screen frames bent, etc I have several warranty tickets outstanding and no drywall has been addressed. Also baseboard in the master bedroom was supposed to be replaced pre closing. As of today (nearly 8 weeks later) it still hasn't been replaced.
