The preaproval was amazingly fast. It made me feel confident that when the time would come to finalize, it would be equally fast. It was not. I couldn't believe the amount of hoops I had to jump though to get this home. I wish I had been warned to spray pesticides to kill off all the bugs that made my home theirs throughout the build process. We had to forego the radiant barrier with no replacement option. Pulte homes was supposed to be energy efficient and now summers will feel a bit more uncomfortable. The tile job quality of the 9k shower isn't up to par. It's uneven. The recessed lighting in kitchen is patchy work and not symmetrical. Tile grout was splattered at the base of the kitchen cabinets. Tub/shower was cracked making it unusable. multiple delays and not organized well.

Go to your house daily and make sure things are being installed correctly. Watch for sump pumps to be unplugged while construction is going on. Make sure the sump pump gets power all the time.

Not the best experience, that we expected!!!!

Building a home is a process. Things inherently get delayed or mistakes are made ;we are all human. I built my Florida house while living in Michigan. Communication was great. Pulte team responded to any challenges that were under their control with out exception. If there were delays outside of their control they notified me in a timely fashion

Craftsmanship was evident throughout the home. The cabinets, countertops, floor etc all have been installed very well.

Our Project Manager Scott Grasky was exceptional. Very responsive and accommodating.

the closing experience was not so good, from our keys being lost to not have a customer service rep reach out to us at all! Nevertheless the overall home quality was very good, but customer services is definitely an area of opportunity.

Everything from the start was exceptional. Since the beginning Stella showed interest and took ownership to make every single step of the process smooth and easy. After meeting several times and many phone calls we came to the best agreement for us and that left us happy. The time that it took for the house to be ready was exactly the time they told us. For every step of the process we had someone working with us. David will send updates every week or every time something was completed. Prior to closing we met with Stella and David, to make sure that the house was looking the way we liked it, and they went above and beyond and even noticed more things to make it even nicer than what it is. Pulte is overall great. Elli (Sales) is the best. She always kept us updated on how the house looked until completion. You can definitely count on her being there for you. Meredith (Designer) very knowledgeble. She went above and beyond helping us select the best options that suited our intent and budget. Brett (Field) was always realistic about the field constraints, and willing to take care of any issues identified.

We have had a couple of issues and Leo and Lorenzo have been great about running the issues to ground. A couple more items have popped up in the past couple of weeks but I am confident in the Pulte team to get them resolved quickly and efficiently.

The staff are great and professional. Customers are treaded with respect and any information needed during the process is provided in a timely manner. Regular updates are provided on the construction status. The building work was done in a bit haste though. There is room for improvement with quality of materials and especially with workmanship. My previous home was built five years back by a regional builder that had far few issues and higher quality. For the premium cost I paid and for a national builder like Pulte, I must say I was somewhat disappointed after moving into the new home. New buyers will make their own discoveries. Office people were superior, very helpful and field managers were helpful, but some construction and material was not not what I expected from a Pulte build.

Where to start, during the build process there was Pe’e all over the floors and toilets, white paint everywhere. All over our black cabinets and railings, literally every piece of trim that was painted resulted in the floor being streaked with white paint. Our furnace was t connected Our $12,000 fireplace has not worked since we moved in three m on his ago. Our back yard and front yard are not even close to level, the neighbors yard is higher causing all the rain water to pool in our yard because the yards were not properly graded So much damage to cabinets that had to be fixed after moving in, so much that has needed to be fixed in general. We have had crews here twice a week for the last three months, and we still don’t have caulk around the base of our shower Water heater was leaking all over garage floor The list goes on. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of products used in my home, the sloppy workmanship within the house. ..unfinished walls, clumps of plaster where wall connects to door frame. Dust painted over on surfaces so not smooth. There was no priming of paint on walls, ceiling or wood trim. I can see the Sheetrock through the paint on the walls and ceiling, paint is peeling off the woodwork and can see bare wood. When pull painters tape off wall it takes the paint with it. Tile put down improperly, and grout not sealed anywhere. Holes in wall board, clumps of plasters painted over without smoothing out. Cracked door frames, nails sticking out of door frame. Cheap hardwood floor. Floor boards only about 1/4 inch thick and the slightest hit on the floor causes chip marks. Not what was shown me in design room. Outside lights not working, AC noisy, and not balanced. Too many to even begin to list!!! Talking with the neighbors I've met it seems they all had major problems as well. Don't buy a Pulte home. After having a horrible experience prior to this home with a different builder, we are so great full to be in our new home here and rest easy knowing the quality is sound and there. Pulte took pride in their work and when something wasn’t right, they addressed it right away. We also were blessed to have the best of the best looking over our home as it was being built and couldn’t say enough amazing things about Cody! He truly is one of the few good ones out there.

Pulte would rather come back out to fix problems 3,4, and 5 times than do the job write the first time. They employ subpar contract laborers that are not skilled in their trades. We were told that everything past inspection, city code and inspectors have a really low bar.

From start to finish our home buying process was absolutely amazing. Pulte went above and beyond, especially Craig and Alex. Can’t say enough good things!! Thank you!!

I love my home but my experience has not been good with getting answer from the project people on getting answers. I was not left any paint for touch ups and have asked everyone they tell me they will check into it but no response. I moved in on 8/13/2021 it has been 2 month with no answer I have spoken with Javier and Julie and nothing.

Overall, everything has been a great experience but will say once they give you the keys you are going to wait a long time to get pending issues resolved.

workmanship is mostly good...lot of small issues that were not addressed appropriately.

While out site super is working to fix issues it has been an extremely slow, painful, and stressful process. It took 3 visits for our home to even get the correct attic insulation level. Tile work was absolutely terrible throughout and we requested a new crew from the get go but now a third visit is scheduled finally with a new crew to completely rip out and replace the entire wet bar backsplash. Our floors are one giant tripping hazard, and we requested this to be addressed at each stage, now we have had 3 areas “fixed” but now Pulte is paying for an ANSI “expert consultant” to come out and give a plan for addressing flooring issue. It would have cost everyone, but especially Pulte, less money, stress and man hours to just do the right thing and replace the floors from the beginning. It took 3 weeks to install our floors and due to our front door being knocked off of its hinges during that time trades came and went and whoever else walked on incomplete flooring, and more than likely shifted tiles that were not entirely set yet. At no time was our front door fixed or replaced, so for 2 months of during the final phases our home it sat exposed to the elements and whoever decided to walk through. We still don’t have half of our closing walk through items complete. Even simple items like pushing recessed light back in to the ceiling so it’s not hanging down and out of the ceiling. Overall there was a serious lack of oversight on our home and that sentiment is shared and echoed throughout our entire small neighborhood. We understand COVID has put a strain on the industry, but that doesn’t release Pulte from their responsibilities. Pulte and their reps are the end of the line for all items and does have recourse options available to ensure quality work that covers more than the absolute bare minimum. I also understand that our home price was raised to meet market value, but that should also mean that the quality of work should rise to meet that price point as well, we have had much lower price point homes with far more attention to detail and extremely higher quality control even at times of a shaken market. With our current experience I would never recommend Pulte to a family member or friend and as this will not be our last home, I am very hesitant to ever consider another Pulte neighborhood in the future. ... Shoddy build quality with an extremely low level of respect and care for your home. They hire the cheapest labor they can - many don't even speak English - and it shows. Truly a production style build process in which corners are cut. Communication is incredibly lacking and you are treated like you don't matter and aren't a part of the process. I would never, ever, ever build a home with Pulte again.
