Pulte helped us closing our new home on time. Pulte has to keep inspection report before even they schedule meeting with customers. Overall quality is good so far. Customer has to get blue prints of all the Structure, plumbing and electrical plans.if any repair comes it will be very useful to the customer in case of any repair after warranty period is over. for New customers: be prepared before going into design center with options that you want opt for. Pulte mortgage needs to offer competitive quotes to the customer.

While overall I think you get good value for your money, it feels like Pulte cuts corners and wastes a lot of time on rework when things could've been right the first time. We we constantly checking their work and there were many things that we had them fix along the way. Had we not checked for our selves, these defects would still be there. On the other hand, Pulte has been pretty responsive to issues since we've moved in and have been pretty quick in getting things resolved.

No one responds to my work order emails!

I have put in several work order emails. Tino has come out and was helpful but I’m still waiting for several other emails to be answered. For example work order about drywall tape, a hole in my slider where you can see thru the top of the door.

If you can't afford a custom home, then Pulte is not a bad option. The quality of the workmanship and materials is poor but no worse than other builders in the same price range (and superior to older construction). We found everyone we worked with to be generally trustworthy and responsive. Some people that we worked with were very customer-service oriented while others were not. Overall, we are happy with our home. It looks nice and is in a great location.

Make sure you double check change orders from sales people, that part of this whole process was the bad part. The build was excellent, though. Love our home.

Pulte staff are very friendly and helpful. Design of the open space home is well thought out, save the Jack and Jill bathroom, which is small. Attention to detail with some of the craftsmanship should be better.

Need to make sure you are looking as the construction gets done. Some major framing issues with our condo.. Things are being corrected but I was a little surprised at how the place was not finished or cleaned properly when we closed.

Overall, we love our new home. We were sold on the floorplan almost as soon as we walked into the home the very first time - we definitely feel like Pulte has listened to people and designed a home that truly works for families. Our Project Manager Ian was fantastic to work with - he kept us updated about the project and how we were progressing. He took care of the concerns we had and did everything in his power to ensure issues were resolved in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the cast of sub-contractors left something to be desired at times. We did not feel like some of the crews ...

We were rushed into a quick closing and we do not presently live nearby. So far, we are simply dissatisfied with the warranty department and their inability to resolve urgent issues quickly. We had a flood of water come through the front door May 6, in a rainstorm. It’s rain season and this isn’t fixed yet. This issue has not been taken seriously as we thought it should have been resolved by the end of that week the latest. We would say that we have some lack of trust with Pulte Homes. As well, it’s difficult to speak to anyone without a message machine. That’s not working too well either. ...

Make sure your electrical outlets are not put in the corners where walls meet in the bathrooms. Get salesmen’s promises in writing. Don’t buy a model without speaking to an owner of one. Be prepared to be at home for “Punch lists” to be addressed.

Over all the updates on the build was excellent. If something doesn’t get done by the move in date it takes forever to have the items fixed after that.

I really like the home but the communication from the field team completely stopped at closing. Driveway and yard are still a work in progress due to weather but I only know something is going to happen when someone shows up knocking at the door. A heads up seems like it should be in order ‘hey, don’t drive on the concrete for x days’ versus it just being poured, roped off, and no discussion.

It’s hard to get a hold of the customer service team after the closing. The quality of workmanship could be better especially painting and staining of stairs.

Absurdly high electric bill before moving in fully, >$800

Home quality food. Poorly installed appliances. HVAC running over 160 kwh daily before myself even moving in. Empty unit with AC temp set to 80 degrees leading to electric bill over $800!! Warranty customer service takes days to reply and weeks to do anything. Losing money daily as a result of poor installation and worse customer service warranty response

Overall very general approach to the quality. Like working to the gas station, at the very first glance everything looks good, but when you start looking in to detail, you could see that quality isn’t so good. I would never hire any contractors, to do job with this level of quality.
