This is the fourth house I have purchased in my life and it was the worst experience I have ever had. They moved my closing date up by 2 weeks even though I was assured I wouldn't close before mid-August (which was the time frame I requested) and the house wasn't even ready. At every level of work: cosmetic to structural the quality is poor. During inspection issues were noted with the AC not cooling properly. I was assured it was fine. It stopped working 3 days after I moved in due to a coolant leak. This was at 5:30 pm on an Aug day. the AC/Furnace warranty company wouldn't come out ...

I’ve built with Pulte before (in Tennessee) and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Well. The Indianapolis area Pulte experience couldn’t have been more different. The framing/structure of the home is sturdy and well done, thankfully. My nitpicky, former custom builder father inspected that. But the finishes and sloppy craftsmanship is unacceptable. There is no supervision on the job site and the superintendent lies to you and says no its ok that is the way Pulte does there work! Then when the blue tape walk though comes around simple things like doors closing correctly don't then you wait 14 days for someone to come and fix them. the bath tub is so scratched up the worker said he cant do any more> Iam waiting another 14 days for someone to tell me the something I cant take out the scratches

Title company was not well organized and requested for multiple unneeded notarized signings. Many small issues with the house build (poorly sealed frames/baseboards, creaks, cracks, cabinet finishing/fit, etc.). Experience could have been better but still the design makes it very enjoyable.

The material is good, but the architecture and workmanship were not so good, with several errors and rework (pandemic times). In the house, there is an Irritating creak noise when walking on the second floor since we got the key (due to a rework, not well-done, baths tiles are misaligned). The Driveway blocks are uneven in some areas in front and back of the house. The lamp switches are not standard places, it is oriented by cost, not by the functionality or standardization, even with space to install it. They completely messed up with the brick work. It would give zero out of five. New house lost its curb appeal. Feeling bad. Esthetic part has been compromised with used of discolored brick in the front potion. Water logging in the back yard in 10 mins rain. This is I am reporting after 2 months of closing. Not sure what else will come in future. Over all ok nothing great comparison to what I am paying.

Pulte makes high quality homes. Be diligent in asking about all options for your home including upgrades. We missed out on a few options due to our sales associate being fired in the middle of our purchase. There are a few things we didn’t know and were misinformed about. Pulte worked to correct some of the issues. They were responsive up until signing on the dotted line. Once you sign and purchase the home you become low priority and the communication is delayed and at times unresponsive to the issues that arise. Pulte is very busy at this time building as fast as they can, so if your home takes longer, don't be surprised, if the home experience is not what they advertise, don't be surprised, if you move in and you still find a lot of mistakes, don't be surprised.

I’m very happy to be part of this community and look forward to enjoying all it offers. I have made several attempts to have some things done to no avail. I have NEVER heard back any answer re the property grading. Having paid mor fo my lot I did not expect it to be as hilly as it is, to the point of dangerous. I would be most appreciative if , perhaps before the next door property is started someone could explore the possibility of leveling mine beyond and to the side of my front wal and patio. Other than the grading I can wait for my other problems to be solved. Within reason, of course
