I would not recommend Pulte Home due to the lack of communications between departments.. Important issues were not solved prior to closing and had to close with no hot water and a filthy home.

Pulte's staff were very professional and responsive throughout the entire process, from contract to closing (and now during the warranty period). I would definitely recommend a Pulte home to friends and family. We love our new home!

From the outset, Pulte rushed the process. They rushed the closing of the house telling us “we need our numbers” and threatened to charge us more if we fell outside of their perimeters. We were unable to see the home at closing due to being overseas (again they had significantly altered the time frame a couple of weeks before closing). Upon seeing the house for the first time, the house and yard were filthy. A number of things like some of the shelves and the staircase were unfinished. We’ve had so many issues. We were promised the home would look like a model home and it wasn’t. We are waiting response to get our issues resolved. Just felt like things were put together as quickly as possible knowing things could be fixed. On top of that we have plot issues. Our plot is smaller than what was supposed to be according to the plan.

We moved into our home in July and have several unresolved punch list items. We have also noticed serious workmanship issues with our subfloors and wood trim throughout the house. We have been chasing both the warranty group and our initial construction contact but have not received resolution. If we had known things were going to be this bad and so different from the model, it’s unlikely we would have bought a Pulte home.

This is my second home purchase with Pulte and almost might be my last. It was a true headache from the beginning with the sales center and lack or attention to detail and communication. The saving grace was the field managers who actually communicated very well and helped along the way. If I was to purchase again and saw the same sales team I dealt with I would leave. To obtain any updates from them was like pulling teeth. Even the local main office was also terrible at communicating. The materials are good quality, the workmanship sucks as well as the organization process. Different companies (not Pulte exactly) do different things like tile, paint, countertops, kitchen cabinets. That is normal when such a big company as Pulte hires subcontractors. But when it comes to the closing day you get chipped paint on the doors, baseboards, trims, your get not even paint on the walls, missed spots without paint or only one layer of paint instead of 2, missing silicone layers in the bathrooms (where they need to be), cracked sockets, cracked tiles, etc. Small touch-ups but still ...

Excellent experience! Professional sale Tracey who is very responsive even when she moved to a different community. She still answer my questions during her vacations! Project manager Greg is super helpful and professional too. He has been very patience with all my questions and taking care of all the issues we brought up. His work is beyond my expectations. The sales rep and project manager was GREAT at this location. I'm a licensed RE agent and have gone through a LOT of sales reps and PM's and these two made the experience smooth and easy. They were great at keeping us updated (even with the minor delays) and answered all of our concerns/questions we had.
