The quality of the work done is very poor. The paint on the kitchen cabinets wasn’t done properly, they didn’t fix things properly, and the countertop wasn’t sealed well, resulting in cracks. There are many such issues that should have been fixed before the walk-in, and even after three months, they still haven’t been addressed. This poor workmanship reflects very badly on the quality of the builder.

This was an inventory home, but the overall experience has been disappointing. I was rushed to sign the agreement within two days to get a bonus, which didn’t leave enough time to review everything carefully. During the inspection, instead of properly addressing issues, I was EDUCATED on why things were supposedly fine—most concerns were explained away rather than fixed. I still have a dead tree in the front yard and a garage door that makes a very loud noise when opening. Project manager was great until we left his review. After we gave him a good review, he has never returned our calls. We had broken screens we wanted replaced and deep scratches in our cabinets. Loud music all day from the workers, working and banging til way after dark.(10:30pm)Garbage all over from subcontractors even in ponds.There is no maintaining of roads due to construction debris. Most important there are no weather heads on the intake of the furnace inlet on the roof on any of the houses including ours.

What turned into a necessary buying experience has really soured for no reasonable explanation. The front salespeople are and serve their purpose to close "The Deal". Promise made/promises broken...... elderly hand railing for steps, follow up by painters, Ring Doorbell, etc... Now for defective building issues covered by "Their Written Homeowners Warranty". The overall quality of my home was delivered below standard. We closed on the home with the understanding that our issues and concerns would be taken care of and they have not been as of today. I purchased an unit from Pulte Homes and was shocked at the lack of value. The unit came with no microwave, washer, or dryer—basic appliances you’d expect to be included. The paint job was sloppy, materials look and feel like the cheapest options available, and the overall construction quality is poor. The parking garage is another major disappointment. The quality of the workmanship and the materials used are very poor. After 3 months of owning the house, I am still waiting to fix 5 issues. They don’t care, they don’t return your calls or messages.

AC units for the home are entirely too small. My house won’t cool past 78 on a 100 degree day. People who work for pulte say the units only rated to cool 18-20 degrees below outside temp. Let me know how comfortable you would be in a 80 degree home in Texas. The contract company they use for HVAC is just spinning their wheels patching and plugging the system without recognizing and replacing/remodeling the entire system. Please tell me how a 2.5 ton unit is expected to cool a 2500 sq ft house. A multi million dollar builder cannot even provide the homes they build with adequate HVAC systems ...

Material quality is poor and very lower end finishing by workers. You fill less than a month all bad quality Pulte have used. I will not recommend anyone to spend their savings to buy pultehomes.

The sales experience went exceptionally well. My sales person was extremely responsive and follow through was fabulous. My issues all arise from the work of the vendors as detailed work was not completed at final pre-closing walk through nor has it been followed up as promised post closing. Very disappointing experience from start to finish for this process. We were made to feel as if we did not belong in this neighborhood from the first day we came in to view the model home. The person walking us through picking out electrical gave us bad advice which will cost us more headaches and money in the long run (an electrician or contractor should be walking people through these decisions, not someone from sales). Poor Quality of Homes and Finishing

From dimensions of home to poor build quality in each aspect of construction, they have used the lowest quality material possible to give homeowners their homes so that they will end up spending thousands and thousands in dollars in subsequent years while Pulte maximizes the profit. Sales was good as well as mortgage process. All add on items were over priced for the value furnished. The French doors in the den were installed off center and had to be reconstructed after move in. Many items were missed or damaged. The warranty department is all about excuses for not doing the work. Instead of fixing the items now they keep saying wait for the one year mark because they only fix items once. Pulte used to be a great builder in the 90s but are only interested in getting more money for junk. Not satisfied at all.

Purchased a very expensive lot well over $225,000 and was told that my screen porch would have the perfect view of the lagoon. Nope, they were putting it on the other side facing other homes and not the lagoon. Quote “the buyer does not get to determine what side the porch is on”. If you buy a home from pulte make sure you get the ALL the punch list items on the list. The project manager said yes to numerous things as we walked through and blue taped and said he would take care of it... but only did the items we wrote down. When I got the key to the house here was still about 10 blue taped tags on the wall and items. He must of barely walked through the house. He would make a great used care salesman. I had not lived in my new home for a month when I had an emergency plumbing issue. I could not get a hold of anyone immediately. My down stairs flooded with sewer water still no response from Pulte. The plumbing company did come and identified that the sewer pipe was broken. It has been replaced but have still not had contact with Pulte. Not the way I would do business
