Working with the sales consultant was great for the most part, until the very end when communication basically stopped. For your sake, I hope you don't have any issues because getting them addressed is time consuming and getting someone to actually help you is difficult. You pay a lot of money for not great service. I continue to notice poor craftmanship in my home and the interior paint job has tons of issues. I really want to rate the experience higher - because I know how hard the employees at Pulte work. Some of the most honest, kind, and hard working folks that really care about what they do. Living in the neighborhood I see how late the project managers work and how during the home buying process the reps make themselves available. At the same time they seem spread really thin, too many projects per person at once. Overall rated 3 out of 5 due to the process or mentoring and the lack of quality in finishing touches. Through the whole process I felt rushed and was asked for information that I did not understand what it would be used for. There is a lot of information to go through and sign that i wish someone could have walked me through and educated me. rather than jsut asking me to sign. Overall, we love our new home and everyone that we worked with at Pulte throughout the process, but you should have realistic expectations about the level of attention your home will receive. It's just the nature of their business. Pulte is one of the largest builders and they excel at building homes quickly and efficiently, which positively impacts their top and bottom line. Pulte Homes has good service. Like others builder, they have sister companies that will offer you Title service, Loan and Insurance for incentive. We didn't get any of other services, except the Loan (Pulte Mortgage) and Pulte Mortgage's loan officers we were assigned to was HORRIBLE, didn't answers questions and slow to response. Pulte Homes itself provide great service from the sales person to the construction manager and customer care people after closing. We weren't real pleased with our sales person, wasn't thorough with pre-construction options, and lacked follow up. Luckily we were already in the area and could follow construction, otherwise we would have had no idea. We had two constructions managers, Jordan and Justin, who were both terrific, responsive and stayed on top of the construction, communicated well, hit all their time lines with updates, meetings and closing. After closing your handed off for punch list items, big disappointment at this point with communication and follow through.

14 months to close, and still not everything is done

We contracted in April 2021, and while there were some supply delays, the lack of communication and timing by the construction team caused us to wait 14 months to close. They were still working in the house the day of closing and had to be let in throughout the next two weeks to finish items. It has been 5 weeks from closing and we are still waiting for some work to be completed. The sales team is great but the workmanship and all around delays are horrible.

Our sales agent, Zorinel, was great. We should have taken more time looking at all the options for lots and size of homes. But, at the end of the day we are happy with the floor plan we chose but we could have chosen a bigger lot. The construction process was very difficult not only because of the lack of people to work and lack of supplies but we had a very bad experience with the back sliding doors. Make sure the future homebuyers know up front that they will be responsible for the sprinkler system water and get it in writing . Also give the homeowners more time than an hour to inspect the outside/inside of property during celebration tour. Both myself/spouse and pulte manager missed a lot of flaws. Basically this tour was rushed. Even the closing day too!!

We ended up with two contractors during this home-buying process. Our first contractor was Kyle and he tried to update us on a regular basis. Daniel jumped in at the six-month mark when Kyle left. He provided weekly updates and tried to address any issues we saw when we visited the property.

Build manager and finishing manager we’re good. Subs needed to be better managed and blatant issues could have been fixed without me stating them. Door frame, island, cabinets, and deck were clearly not up to par and the ground out back wasn’t graded correctly to disburse water. I like The workmanship and layout of the condo. My complaints are minimal . Only 2 TV outlets, not even one in room you call the den. The trash room is locked. So you carry out trash , have to put it down on carpet, unlick the door, pick up trash bag then put it down because you need two hands to open the chute. Locked? Ridiculous! What is anyone going to steal? Halls and garage are overly cold with the air conditioning.

Honestly i wasn’t too happy with the process. Started off with a sales consultant who didn’t follow up with the process of the bidding. Then because of lack of communication, we had to change the model of the house we wanted and the colors for the exterior. We were told dates of work to be done and no calls or emails to inform us of delays. The quality of our home did not appear consistent with other homes done by Pulte. We were the last home in the neighborhood so we felt like our home was rushed and did not get the attention it should have. We are still waiting on several repairs and items to be finished nearly 2 months after move in. We do love the floor plan that we selected.
