Overall a good and happy experience, some minor issues we came across after closing but are being corrected in a timely and professional manner. Suggestions would be to change out the air filters as soon as possible after closing, register appliances and begin a list of items that need to be addressed for the first year warranty.

We purchased a new home, had a home inspection completed and closed on the home. Shortly after moving in I was hanging some signage above the kitchen cabinet directly above the stovetop when I looked down into the hood vent and noticed that the vent ducting was missing and not connected to the outside. I also had a gutter company install new gutters on the front and back of the house. While they were installing the front and back gutters, they were tying them in to the Pulte- provided side gutters. I moved in in March and since moving in have found so many things that were done improperly that I haven’t even reached out to have them fixed until I find all to limit how many times people are in and out, since I work mostly from home. I understand with today’s new builds quality of materials are not going to compare to an older build, but things are visibly low quality like cabinets and flooring. Additionally, I am in a town home and when my neighbors walk in their unit It sounds as if they are upstairs in my house.

The seller realtor quit a week after I sign papers. I had no one to ask questions about the home. I felt alone throughout the underwriter process but I made it happen!

Needed to record conversation need the end of the process as certain promises wasn’t kept and then asked if I had proof if the conversation happened or not. Some things in the house was just slapped together and poor craftsmanship. Room for improvement for sure. The background admins were great I’ll say that for sure. Very fast responses.

We felt quite rushed and it seemed to be all on Pulte's terms. With the 3% discount, we thought we were leaving $1200 on the table which we asked if it could be applied to the price and they said no, then when it came to signing documents it ended up being $3600 left on the table which no one communicated to me and it was too late to redo without facing delays and penalties. Then we asked to have carpets cleaned and the Construction Mgr said he would have whole house steam cleaned and tried to say it was but it was not. We experienced a five stars departments and zero stars departments. After 2 months living in our new home I would suggest to pay more attention at the details inside the homes. Several works would have been made better.

We truly love the Pulte model, and some of our friends also own Pulte homes as well. However, the quality of workmanship in our home feels somewhat different from what we have seen in other Pulte homes. We feel the build quality could have been better, with more attention to detail and a more perfection-focused finish throughout the home.

Overall experience is good, but home closure experience is not very pleasant and fair.

The overall experience was good, but the closing process was disappointing and lacked transparency. Pulte Mortgage repeatedly delayed the process with last-minute document requests, and typos in the name on escrow documents caused additional hold-ups. Passing the cost of these delays and corrections on to the buyer is not a fair practice. Build quality was also inconsistent — we've already had to replace glass panes twice.

Purchased a home in the Heartwood neighborhood marked our second home-buying experience, and we wanted to ensure everything was in proper condition prior to move-in. Disappointed with the quality. Omission of fixtures like towel bars, toilet paper holder, garage unpainted. Up graded kitchen but still not high end appliances. Master shower head is so high we can't reach without a ladder ( Michael Jordan doesn't live here). Garage is so small it is hard to get 2 medium sized cars in it. Many of our scrubs are dead. Drainage issues (working on). Lots are really small for this price house. Vinal siding is low grade ( rattles when the wind blows).

The maintenance people seem to be very responsive and have indicated that the warranties will be honored. I am disappointed in the quality of the cabinetry and carpet, as well as the interior paint, for the price we paid. The electrical outlet configuration is odd. Our salesperson wasn't as well informed as could have been, so there have been some surprises. But, we love the efficiency of the home.

I guess this is partially our fault for not asking the right questions as new buyers, but when we were choosing our lot, we were shown the lot which we loved and the elevation. We signed the contract and put our deposit down. Come to find out there was a fire hydrant very close to our driveway, causing them to cut into our driveway, and now we’re basically stuck with a single driveway instead of double. I normally wouldn’t do a review until everything all the issues that have been identified in the home are complete. The quick response from Pulte title company was great. However, when it came to fixing issues it is a little subpar. After closing over a month in half I am still waiting to close out an item that needs fixing which was identified prior to closing.

Options were limited, would have liked to have seen more and more consistency with options. Supplies changed quickly and created anxiety having to change from first visit with designer from the next. Our experience with Pulte has been okay overall. The home is not bad, but it’s also not what I would consider top-of-the-line. There have been several issues early on that took away from the “new build” experience. The biggest concern has been the HVAC. There is often an 8–10 degree temperature difference between the main floor and the second floor. The HVAC company has been out four times, and while adjustments have helped somewhat, the issue still isn’t fully resolved, which is disappointing in a brand-new home. We had some issues with the sales folks. They were NOT up to date on the features. The big problem turned out to be the fireplace. It is more decorative than functional. I found a neighbor who has one took the plate glass off the front of his so heat could better enter the room. It melted some of the siding where the vent went out the rear of the house. Got to hot. I told the agent I loved gas fireplaces as they throw off a lot of heat. The sales person did not know about this failure in the fireplace. I would not have had one if I knew this about it.

Sales rep lied about warranty reporting window. Stated all warranty reporting windows are 1 year. Multiple items are 30 days or less to report. Construction manager stated several identified issues would be fixed before move it was complete. Items are still not complete 80 days after close. Construction manager did complete some items but is now refusing to respond for other major items (showers, scratches on windows, cabinets drawers not operating properly and a pop nail protruding through wood.)
