Site manager didn’t provide any photos of the house during the build process. Was “extra” helpful when we signed for the house because of a survey. Gave him a bad survey, so he quit taking our calls, emails, and text messages. If it wasn’t for the site manager, I would rate Pulte much, much higher!

Sales agent being unprofessional about an issue we had

We’ve had plumbing issues multiple times. One plumber found paint inside the toilet tank clogging it. The paint inside the home rubs off if you attempt to clean anything off of it. Everything that touches the wall leaves a mark or rips the paint off. We have multiple chipped tiles and it occurred within the first 1-2 months of closing. Roxanne, the sales agent was very unprofessional when we had an issue about a stair-railing selection. Pulte was very prompt in following up with these issues once reported. Our home cost in the upper 300’s, we expected a little more.

We were promised by Pulte that the open issues before closing are already managed by the time we were closing. We couldn’t verify it with the pandemic but it was all lies. Now it’s been 2 months and we still haven’t gotten what they already said is done, to be even looked at.

The field manager is great! He was the trustworthy one, responsive to our issues, professional and kind one throughout the process. The overall experience was over shadowed by the Pulte Mortgage process. Our two reps really lacked communication or timely response. We have found now that we have moved in that there are some strange items. Electrical trips often, one outlet will blow the whole room no matter what we try. Ceiling air vent cover falls bc the hole was cut too large, we fixed it. I haven't been able to use the new dishwasher bc it has been broken since the first time of use. ...

We were offered a $5,000 discount if we signed papers by a certain date. We did, and later were told that we didn't (even though we have text messages to prove it). Also, we were overcharged on our final payment to the title company ($700+) and were told we would get a refund from Pulte. Never did, and follow up has been ignored. Maybe others are okay with writing off $5,700+ but we are not, and are extremely upset with the promises made and the lack of follow up with management.

Be very careful. The home overall is spacious and planned well but the lack of care to the details makes this a new home filled with fixes. Slow down and really go through the house prior to the final walk though! For example, our master shower leaks water onto the floor, the standard size fridge space was measured/built incorrectly so that it did not fit a fridge, the fuse box was labeled wrong. Those are just the highlights.

My project manager had way too many homes. It was evident in the responsiveness and ability to keep up with issues. There were a few hiccups along the way that I had to stay on top off, but the painters are a disaster. It was ridiculous what was missed and how many times they had to come back. By the time we closed, I basically just gave up. I’m also disappointed that the ceiling/attic isn’t strong enough to support any storage. I have been in my home for approximately 3 months. There are greatly noticeable cracks and nail pops throughout the house that were visible prior to moving in. Drywall spackle on mirrors, countertops, walls, and doors I cleaned after closing on the house. The conduit outside the house for the fiber optic line was cut and covered over with concrete making it very difficult for the technician to run the line. Very poor quality home for the high price tag you pay. Shoddy workmanship, inferior materials {house is filled with plastic material including the light bulbs UNBELIEVEABLE!!!} and low quality installs! Hence the coined name tupperware homes by Pulte. After living here for a month, I realized the material used to build my unit is very cheap and low quality. The flooring carpet specially is really bad installed. Doors are low quality. No very happy with the unit in overall. I have submitted 4 service tickets so far in less than a month. I know that this unit will need a lot of work after a few years which it shouldnt be since it's a new brand construction.

We have not had a good experience. First we were living on our home a few weeks and we had an issue with our smoke detectors. I called the warranty number and was told it’s not an emergency and they will come in 3 or 4 days. It’s a state law in Florida that you must have working smoke detectors so I don’t see how having no fire protection for my family is not an emergency. When we raised concerns once we found out the truth, Megan (Brian’s manager) asked Brian about we reported and reported a response back from him which contradicted what he told us. Poor quality products used such as granite. Poor workmanship. Window shades do not fit properly as drywall around windows not uniform. Cheap wood used on deck is splitting. During construction found none of bolts on lally columns were tightened down. Cheap, cheap, cheap! Would never recommend Pulte homes.
