Jodee was excellent to work with and timely with all my requests, the mortgage team was friendly and helpful my field manager was quick to take action for any issues but seemed to lack the time to ensure the quality of the work being done. Overall good experienced team but maybe the amount of construction might be impacting quality.

First; Patti, sales consultant, was/is so helpful and often went out of her way to help us. Second; Kevin, builder rep, is great to work with. He acted immediately to some minor issues we had once we moved in. He continues to provide help on additional items and provides recommendation/solution that I can easily perform. Third: Jeff and Todd of the warranty team are very responsive and I feel we are in good hand with them with the items that need to resolved. Rhonda and Vernon were the best to work with. We really appreciate the honesty, the being upfront about everything, the sincerity and kindness. Anytime we had questions or concerns (whether on the buying or building side) their response was very prompt and they always made us feel like we definitely made the choice to go with Pulte. Sales and Mortgage Teams were the most helpful, and without them I would have rated 1 star or less. My home was not even complete by closing date, that was over a month ago and I still don't even have my refrigerator. Too much to list, but wouldn't do this again.

I had several warranty issues after I moved in which were scheduled and taken care of successfully almost immediately by Pulte's warranty department. My only complaint is with the sub-contractors who completed the warranty work. As a single woman building a home I was surprised to be treated with such lack respect by every sub except the electrician. However, the salesperson and the project manager were both very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. If I had an issue during the building process, the project manager took care of it quickly, explaining things to my satisfaction.

We bought our house as a “quick move-in”. All upgrades were selected by previous buyers, so we had no say in anything. Long story short, VA appraisal was way below asking price. We had several options, pay the entire difference, walk away, or ask Pulte to adjust the price of the house. My wife called our sales agent and within 3 hours, Pulte responded and agreed to split the difference between their asking price and the VA appraisal. If Pulte had not responded in such a positive manner, I would not be writing this review. Wife’s comment: everyone was wonderful!!!

If what you are looking for is quality work with a builder who is proactive in satisfactorily remedying workmanship issues then this isn't the builder for you. The home overall is in good condition however the subcontractors used by the builder were primarily people who could fog a mirror not specializing in their specific craft and the quality of the work speaks for itself. The builder's idea of remedying the workmanship is far from what you would expect for a new home or from a builder of this magnitude. We have been in the house for over a month now. We had a list of issues from our walk through that weren’t fix before we moved in and additional issues we have found since moving in. There were covers left off of electrical outlets, broken freezer shelf, leaking shower in the master, and vent hood in the kitchen that was installed wrong. These are big issues , not just paint touch ups and we still have had no word on when any of it will be fixed. If you are looking for a quality home builder in the Ft. Myers area, you can't go wrong by choosing Pulte Homes. There customer interaction during the buying process and their responsiveness during the building process were outstanding. And the follow-up after the sale has been tremendous. They truly believe in delivering a quality home and making sure the buyer is happy. We couldn't be more pleased and are happy we chose Pulte Homes to build our new Florida house.

Pulte pushes using their mortgage company, but they do not know what they are doing and do not communicate well. We waited for 4 months for a decision only to be rejected and told I had three weeks to get a full mortgage commitment or the entire deal would be voided. I had two mortgage approvals within two weeks. Building process was slow (6 months) with little to no communication until the end of the process. Multiple homes were started after ours and delivered weeks before. Even after 6 month build time, there are multiple outdoor items which need completed more than a month after ...
