The customer service experience was great during the home buying process. Once you've closed and moved in, it's a different story. Prior to moving in, I hired a home inspector to perform an inspection. There were a handful of findings that were claimed to be fixed. The field manager was going to send an email with the pictures showing (roof, attic,) the findings on the home inspection have been fixed. We occupied the property in May. I sent a follow-up email to the field manager and I am yet to receive a response. I understand they are busy but it's almost two months, and yet no response. ...

I have nothing good to say about Pulte - they are currently building homes as fast as they can and cutting corners left and right. We closed on a house that was filthy with many issues that they promised to address as soon as we closed - joke was on us for not refusing to close and believing that they were telling us the truth. As soon as you close, they disappear. My advice? Run.

It was terrible and we are still going through it. We were forced to close before the house was completed. We’ve been living here for over 1 month and things are still not done. It is a nightmare that we can’t wake up from. We still cannot access the Pulte Home site. There’s no technology support. It’s ridiculous for a publicly traded company. It’s shameful.

It has been a month and my temporary microwave is not yet replaced by the proper one. The temporary microwave was installed to get the certificate of occupancy so that they can keep the closing date and not postpone the closing date. I was told it will be done in 10 days, but even after 1 month, the proper microwave is not installed.

All the experiences with Pulte in the sales , design, construction and delivery were very pprofessional, helpful , correct and without hassel. The only excption was Pulte Mortgage, that experience was long and difficult due to inflexabilities, lack of attention to communications errors, and gaps in conveyance of information. But in the end they completed their part in time to close.

Home was finished over a month late due to multiple avoidable delays, most of which occurred due to lack of time management and communication by the builder. Will never build with or recommend anyone to build with Pulte.

The builder is forced to employ subs that are not the quality that we experienced with our prior Pulte Homes. Pulte appears to be pushing its subs to get things done quicker rather than better. Pulte appears to rely on its post settlement process of repairing and/or replacing items or workmanship that should have been done right in the first place. The process simply stated is that you tell us what is wrong and we will check it out and get it corrected as soon as we can (which is not necessarily quickly). We would have to give much thought before we would purchase another Pulte Home.

I'd say Pulte is good but not great. It's like eating fast food. Some of it might taste good, but it's far from eating at a nice restaurant. It's just a matter of how many hairs you find in your food.

Honestly, we love the house, but it was the people that really made the experience what it was. Wayne Austin was our sales rep and we really enjoyed our time with him. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the houses, and we just loved talking to him to general. Smyth Redfern was in charge of the home building and he was super impressive. Spent lots of time with us and educated us on the house and kept us updated on the progress. Also, someone we genuinely enjoyed talking to. We love our new house and it was a great experience all around.
