Before closing, there was a laundry list of issues that were promised to be fixed after closing. Some were small, others pretty big. The more minor issues I fixed myself or the supervisor had resolved. Without being petty, I will say the overall workmanship was poor. The biggest issue I reported was visible seems on the ceiling. I tried to work with the Pulte team on getting the ceiling issue resolved; however, after two months and five Pulte people later, I was told, “there isn’t anything further we can do.” I’ve been given a myriad of excuses why the seams are visible; here are some of the more comical ones were, “well, your house is set East to West, so you’ll see the seams,” “they aren’t seams; they are shadows,” “gravity pulls on the wet drywall mud so you’ll never have a seamless ceiling.” In addition to the visible seams, the other topic that got under my skin was the Pulte team talking to me like I have zero knowledge about the home building process and that I should accept defects. Just today, I was told, “I have twenty years in construction, and visible “shadows” (seams) are very common.” In reviewing this entire process, I’ve realized that Pulte doesn’t care about the homeowner. Our second home to purchase, And it was exciting to watch the process again from foundation up. To see all the details of your home in progress. And to finally move in. It’s been 1 month 1 day and we’ve been enjoying our new home with Pulte. With the heavy rains that came through the area I’m happy to say no leaks at all. When we did our walk through before closing You see the obvious touch ups that get noted and fixed, but your bound to miss some minor ones. But over all we’re very happy with our new home And with PULTE as our builder.

Having had a Pulte home built 21 years ago, we decided to purchase another Pulte home.

Pulte Homes will not make improvements requested by the customer; such as satin or semi-gloss paint instead of flat paint in the garage and bathrooms, concrete instead of plastic water trays for exterior downspouts, white instead of black lanai ceiling light fixtures, or the installation of a wine cooler.

Quality hard to maintain. 3 project managers. Punch work slow after closing.

Overall was a great experience. Anyone having a new home built rite now will deal with COVID supply issue's. Despite those challenges our sales rep Matt and field Rob were amazing. Matt was very helpful in the beginning helping us navigate the buying process and selecting add ons. Every week during the build he kept us updated with pictures which we looked foward to Sunday mornings. Rob was great. He took care of any concerns or issues that popped up and was very detailed oriented. His experience helped us make a couple small changes that made all the difference. After closing, some small issues that came up were quickly handled. I was very impressed with their customer service and we love our new house. Great quality of workmanship and materials

We purchased our home virtually using Facetime. Once the purchase was completed we had scheduled calls, bi-weekly photo updates and lots of emails. We were a bit nervous not being there in person, turned out to be an amazing experience. We love our new home.

The done the construction in timely manner with quality material and with professionals

My experience was good, only I lacked that at the time of showing the property in this case the model house to emphasize what the house does not bring, such as improvements, in this case, better floors, the dashboard, the metal, and wooden handrails, improved walls. I understood that the house was delivered as it was taught to us and when I received it I was disappointed that what I had seen and bought was not what they were giving me and all because the sellers were not clear at the time of showing the property.

If you have a home with on demand water heater makes sure it works properly, Otherwise cold showers. Make sure all sewage lines have been cleared of construction debris. Respond quickly to any water leaks that the City of Rio Rancho, NM, informs you about.

The entire buying and building process with Pulte was perfect, and our home is even better than we hoped it would be. All companies should aim to deliver the kind of experience that we have had with Pulte.

Overall the experience was a great experience. Unfortunately the pandemic made some things very difficult and I can’t blame Pulte for that.

The price is fair, well organized step by step experience, the many options you have to choose is very nice but will suggest they add a 3D with all the structural options and the interior design options before committing to the final decisions... it is hard to visualize all and picture the final product.

Can't say enough good things about Pulte Builders and the quality of the home they produce. Incredible value and quality, competent and friendly workers and managers, attention to detail, and responsiveness to my questions and concerns produce a first class product for a reasonable cost.

Ask questions and get everything in writing. Don't assume you are getting all the information or resources you need. Lots of checks needed which can be overwhelming so use the project manager as a resource to help you- they are knowledgeable and do want you to have a good home.
