Pulte does not supervise subcontractors and demand that work be done right the first time. Subcontractors do the bare minimum. They are supposed to clean up after themselves, but this is not enforced, so our lot and house were trashed repeatedly. There is no pride in workmanship.

Even on settlement day,there was no preparation for delivery of house,but only the words of the person in charge of of the field and waited,but until now,it has not been fulfilled. 1. It has been more than a month since the water from master bedroom has leaked out and has been shown to the site manager, but there has been no contact yet. 2. I asked to check up garage’ outlet. Sloppy Builder Workmanship

We're happy with the layout and the choice of flooring, tiles, and paint colors. However, the workmanship was hurriedly done to complete the job. There were many rough edges, chipped tiles, grout unsealed and excess grout and paint drips that should have been corrected. Also, our new washing machine required warranty work, which took seven weeks to get new parts installed. Pulte refused to replace with a working washer and turned the matter over to Whirlpool, who insisted that they would order new parts but had no idea when they would arrive.

My buying experience was wonderful you walk in and you fall in love the high-quality materials very so much from other homes I went through probably 10 and Pulte was by far the very very best the floor they don’t use any second right products the carpet in the bedrooms is wonderful I put my ceiling fans in and my lighting and it’s absolutely amazing I love this house and would buy another from Pulte again and again Shane Eric and the crew made this experience one of the very very best!!!!

BAD BUILD

This was the worst experience I have gone through in my life. The quality of build has been bad from the beginning. We have gone through 5 different field managers, each one messing everything up along the way. We closed in March 2021 and still have a list of items that are needed to be complete 2 months later with NO communication as to when they would be done. These are things that were supposed to be done the week of closing. Check the quality of everything, do not let them make you close till everything is done. Every step of the way we were surprised on how well thought out the buying, building and closing process was. The quality of the house is amazing and the warranties given were impressing. Purchasing a Pulte home has been a huge mistake. Pulte sold us a home that was not completed and a week after moving in the first floor flooded, not just once but twice. Pulte has no concept of customer service, unless their strategy is to ignore your concerns until you give up trying to get their assistance. All the issues we brought up prior to closing during the final walk through were completely disregarded and a month after closing have still gone unaddressed. What a huge disappointment!!

The only negative of the experience with Pulte was Pulte Mortgage. As bad as the approval and communication was with them, they immediately sold the loan to LoanCare LLC, which as an atrocious reputation. Pulse Mortgage must have known this, including consumer class action lawsuits against LoanCare They sold our loan to them anyway. Awful.

Both the sales agent and the construction supervisor helped me through many questions, changes and issue resolution. Our experience with the design coordinator was not good. She made several errors during construction (specifying wrong items) that had to be fixed before final. She never told us that in a $1.1 million home (one of your "top" models) that we were not getting quality items that any home costing half this would have. For example: cabinet shelves that were not full length. Instead we got the useless 1/3 length shelves, and shower controllers that do NOT control the volume of ...

Do not assume that everything that is installed is done correctly. Make sure that you inspect everything before you close and have all the information that you need, Some things that you find were done incorrectly after closing, you may have to fix yourself. We found some damaged wall tiles, missing tiles, outdoor paint chipped, ceiling speakers not connected, extra electrical switches that arent connect, after we moved in and were left with resolving the issues.

We were impressed with the design and spec of the house and decided to go with Pulte vs. other builders during the pandemic. Once we sat down, we recognized several red flags but went ahead because we needed a place. The first one was the premium for the lot. We asked for an estimate of a property next door and the price difference was outrageous. It wasn't a few hundreds but a more than ten thousand with less options than our current lot. Pulte did a horrible job with the drywall in multiple places. It looks like the home is 20 years old instead of a new build. Pulte damaged my floors and I had to argue for over a week to get them replaced. After temporarily moving out while they fixed the floors, I returned to find glue all over the floor and the floor had bulked up in the kitchen. It was also not level in other places. It’s been 3 weeks and they have still not come back to repair the floor. The steps were also damaged by Pulte and they still haven’t repaired those either. The list goes on and on. Home is Beautiful, Builder very attentive, Financing in Dallas Office wonderful helpful and attentive BUT, home financing office in Colorado never picked up their phones, took an act of Congress to get a response via email or phone! We started our Journey in July 2020 and didn’t close till March 2021! Our credit scores were 600’s-700’s, so experience may be different if you have 700 & Above.
