Overall we had a great experience! Working with Alex Fowlow and Mike Russell was a great experience. Mike did a great job building the house and Alex was attentive to us through the entire process and even post closing! Outstanding! We are very happy with our home!

in the process of negotiating an interest rate on our mortgage, we were specifically told that Pulte would match any rate offered by any other lender. i received a very slightly lower rate from George Mason but Pulte WOULD NOT match it. they violated my trust in them.

Jimmy and Shane were AMAZING! If it was not for them I wouldn’t have anything nice to say. Kelly was my original sales person, the few questions I did have for her which are basic questions i.e. what grade does elementary school go up to, what is the average home bill etc... she had no idea. I originally added a backsplash in my kitchen, she quoted me the wrong price but did honer the price she messed up on. She then emails me a month or so after letting me know that with my countertops not being granite there will be a part that goes up and showed me how it would look. I did not like the way that looked she told me she would see what she could do about upgrading my countertops since again she misinformed me. After several emails asking what the status was on that I found out I had a new sales person. I asked Shawna several times as well what was going on, Shawna told me there was nothing she can do the order had been placed “ but don’t worry once you move in and get settled you can pull that out and replace it and then it will look nice” ( not what I want to hear while I’m building a new home) luckily Shane was able to get that resolved for me and I was refunded my money. Shane was amazing, he was super helpful gave great advice and guided me in the right direction for everything I needed like blinds etc..... Shane was able to answer all the questions Kelly didn’t know and even though I had already bought the house he sold me on this neighborhood. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy. He is such a lifesaver. He followed up with me every week and kept me in the loop. This is my first home and first time living alone. He went into detail about everything, from the maintenance I need to do on my house once a year, telling me to put locks on the meter on the side of my house, what to use and what not to use on my microwave, stove, dishwasher etc.... I’m so thankful I had Jimmy during this experience, he truly cares and it shows. He called me the morning before I closed to let me know what he was in my house doing a final check before it became my home, and I should be proud of myself being a single mom and being able to do this. Jimmy assured me just because I have closed on my house if I ever need anything to let him know. To this day I still text him and ask him random questions and he is happy to help. It’s nice not feeling like I am just a paycheck to him but he truly has mine and my son‘s best interest. So again if it was not for Jimmy and Shane I wouldn’t have many nice things to say. ... More

From the mortgage to still trying to get multiple poor quality and craftsmanship issues fixed, it’s been a nightmare. House should have never passed inspection with all the issues. The original “foreman” left to take another position so I guess he didn’t care. The new boss Don has inherited his problems and is trying his best. If this was custom built with conventional construction loans, they would never get the 20% hold “punch list” payment. No wonder Pulte does business this way.

Pulte has fantastic people working for them. Every question we asked was answered promptly, and thoroughly and we had a great experience throughout the entire building process. We are so happy in our new home and so glad that we bought from Pulte!

good sales office and customer care

This is the worst quality of the house that I have ever bought. There have been issues all over the house. For the first day we moved in (Friday), I used the master bath shower and turned on the water handle, the handle got popped out and strong water stream almost killed me. We have to turn off the main water control and could not live in the house over the weekend due to no water. Until next Monday, the plumber came to fix the problem. The reason for causing this issue was your plumber forgot to put in the pin to lock the water handle. What a big joke it is. Then many other issues came up for the garage door, wall, floors, sidings....For example the sidings have had one piece damaged, and one piece dropped, and trims rippled, I have reported for 3 weeks, nothing has happened. The siding guys never fixed the problems. We are very upset for the whole house. I don't know what could happen next. ... More

Pulte overall is a good builder, however, when I had brought things to their attention after my house was built, I felt that I did not get very responsive scheduling of these items. I am still following up on work that needs to be completed from my punch list. I had a subcontractor that was scheduled to come to my house to complete work today after I took off just did not show up. I don't blame Pulte directly for this but I do not feel that they should work with such unprofessional contractors. I was not contacted at all and had to call the warranty department to inform them of the no show that now has to be rescheduled again. ... More

The experience was seamless and our builder (Ryan) did an excellent job customizing our home!

Working with the field manager James made this process so easy. Weekly updates and regular communication always kept me in the know.

The craftsmanship needs better overview.

My wife & I had such an exceptional experience from purchase, to build, to closing and follow up after moving in. Graham (our sales person), Charlene (our design specialist, Rob (our build project manager) and Jason (GM) were excellent. Each step of the way we felt confident that we made the right decision to buy from Pulte. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Great home! First contact, sales, loan, building supervisor, and closing are all excellent, I would recommend Pulte to anyone seeking a new well built home. This is my third new Pulte home.

I am disappointed with my experience with Pulte, specifically the project managers for construction and the lack of follow through when bringing concerns to their attention.

We had a good experience during the Model home visit and purchase at the Sales office. The experience was similarly good at the Design Center where we could choose options and upgrades though we would have liked more options. During the Build process, we could see the site was professionally managed and the Field manager kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. At critical stages in the build process, the Field manager arranged site visits for us and communicated to us clearly not only about critical dates, but also about the equipment and utilities along with instructions about maintenance. At move-in we were promptly put in touch with the post move-in Customer Support Rep to address any concerns or issues that may arise after move-in. Overall we had a great experience of buying from Pulte Homes and are confident that our home is built to quality standards. We would definitely recommend Pulte Homes. ... More

Bill was great to work with

The building process was terrific. The quality of the home very good. The overall experience with the builder also very high. The only negative to report was all the sales incentives that really had little value. i.e. $8000 closing allowance if Pulte Mortgage was used. The rate quoted was substantially higher, points higher, and fees more than ate up any benefit from the 8K allowance. Not a good experience here.

It was our first experience buying a home , so we decided to buy a new one , because all the time we were involved in the building process, being in place during the process or they send you photos showing you how the house is taking shape with the days , so during that time we were informed by the builder manager of each step during the week , such you can approve or disapprove a work well or bad done , Talking about the price , it is much more than fair believe me , and the mortgage process was very easy and kind the mortgage Dept was is eager to help you in any doubt to make it easier for you , The best interest rates . With the reputation of Pulte we expected a much better experience. Throughout the build process there was minimal communication and when there was, the information was not correct or trustworthy. Our home was delayed several times due to "Covid" when really the builder had issues they were not upfront about. Our home was broken into the day before closing, which delayed us 3 more days. Pulte has no security onsite or care that this happened (we were not the first home with this issue in the neighborhood nor will we be the last I'm sure). After move-in, our experience with the warranty department was abysmal. Our dishwasher, furnace, and dryer vent all had issues and did not work. These all took over a month to remedy. The dryer vent was installed with a screen (code violation) which could have easily caused a lint fire! Overall we are just disappointed that a home in this price range turned out the way it did. ...
