We built with Pulte following a mostly positive experience building our last house with them, as I valued their warranty and transparency about the building process. This time around I was even more impressed. I found this experience even more positive this time around. Mike was very helpful and kept of informed about lot availability and, early on in the building process, the timeline. We had an awesome experience with Holly during the purchase of our last house in Ave, which is why we ended up building our second home with Pulte, and Mike continued to exceed our high expectations. The best thing about building with Pulte was working with Mike McGraw, Michael Zaski and Marissa Haley. Any time an issue would come up they would get it resolved fast. They always made themselves available to address any concerns we had with the building process. Because of that we would build again with Pulte. Both Mikes and Marissa knew what they were doing and they went above and beyond to make our home buying/building easier.

Pulte has beautiful floor plans that are well thought through to meet the practical needs of every customer. They also have nice exterior elevation options for each home model. As a first time home buyer, I did not do a good job of planning my structural options since it needs to be locked in within 24 hours, I would have appreciated some leniency from Pulte in that regard. However, nothing major to complain. Overall good experience. Good: My salesman Brad (while still my salesman) and the field manager Steve. Steve was always accommodating and a source of knowledge. Not so Good: Purchased during pandemic and could not go to design center personally to see samples. Had to seek that out on my own to the best of my abilities. That part of the buying process, in my opinion was unfair. I was sold a home with a mask on but couldn’t get the same when time to design my first home?

Communication is terrible. While not a custom builder (and they are quick to tell you so) quality of workmanship is awful. So many unfinished issues even a month after closing.

I love my home but there have been so many issues come up that have been unaddressed which is frustrating. Dents in a door, scuffs on my cabinets (pointed out a month prior to closing), gouges in my bathtub, horrible looking thresholds, the list goes on and on. By in large it has been crickets! I am so frustrated!

Everyone was very responsive and the quality was great as well. The only issue is the house was not designed with the owner in mind. There are a lot of inconveniently located items that Pulte was unwilling to change prior to construction. These items severely limit space.

Issues identified during home inspections and Build Quality Check, are taking months even after closing is done. The fixes are still pending and needs constant followup to get it fixed and still pending. Keep scheduling every week, but then noone shows up and then the cycle repeats.

Builder said he would provide something, even in email, and eventually did nothing. The issue was brought to the builder's attention 6weeks before closing. Shortly before closing I was told it would not be done. Cost to me to fix: about $30,000.

I was not happy with the experience. I feel that they do not go above and beyond and once you sign they don't even call you back. They don't finish the end product.
