I made the closing with missing appliances, they told me that the next day they would come to install these, it has been 6 weeks and I have not had a response, I have written to customer service and they do not pay attention to my mails. Indeed, they warned of delays in deliveries of household appliances; but other neighbors that are under construction already have all their appliances, I made the mistake of closing trusting their word.

I understand there are delays due to lack of supplies but that doesn’t excuses the lack of quality in work or providing great customer service. I have worked with multiple builders from Dr. Horton to Toll Brothers and Pulte is the 2nd to last builder on my list when it comes to customer service. The weekly updates on the build was very nice, but other then that, it seems like I was a bother. My concerns are not heard, and the superintendent and care team are too busy to help.

We were super excited to build with Pulte but it turned out to be a nightmare for the simple fact that our house was rushed .......due to what our head guy said. He stated that he wanted more time but Pulte wanted him to get our house off their so called "books". we have every thing from unfinished walls to damaged doors to damaged countertops to damaged tile to missing hardware on the cabinets to all of our black hardware being painted white...it just hasn't been a fun experience at all. The outside of the house has yet to be even fully painted. our amazing warranty specialist is working on these issues but we were told at closing that all would be taken care of right away and we now been here 30 days and only a couple things have been done. truly truly a sad situation. ... The Pulte agent Rachael is always been helpful and very prompt on responding. The price is what you expected for the housing market around the area. Quality and workmanship is not what I expected for the value I paid for the house. There are still items on quality issues that still unaddress after moving here more than a month.

Pule builder did average. They missed things here and there. and also Pulte associates (new hires) will tell you that they tested everything in house multiple times and everything was in god shape , dont fall for that , that's the lie. few things i asked them to check and they just provided wrong information right on my face that this is standard and for all houses has the same thing. House was not complete at the time of closing , they just want to close rushing everything and keeping the things incomplete. They rely on 1 year warranty so that they can take time to fix your house. DO NO CLOSE unless you check yourself everything. ... More

This process started out well, weekly calls with the builder as the house was being prepared. They were very open and up front about issues they were facing, and the sales and financing process went very smoothly. (We used Pulte Mortgage) The issues started around close and in hind-site, we should have spent a few extra weeks in the hotel and let them actually complete the home. At the time of close, there were several outstanding items, from a loaner dishwasher to swaths of the house unpainted. The hood in the kitchen did not have a shroud(ie. its just exposted insulation and pipe), the attic door does not shut properly, and the grate on the back patio leans towards the house so water collects on the home. Still, we were happy to call it home as it's in a great neighborhood and we picked all the interior items ourselves. With the promise of having these addressed, we closed. Fast forward 3 months, and the vast majority of the items have not been corrected. In addition, we have seen massive erosion in our back yard creating a 2-3' canyon leading from the neighbor's yard(unbuilt) which floods into ours. We still have a silt fence up, which prohibits the new fence we want, but even that is now essentially broken with more than a foot of silt piled up on the opposite side and holes where the mudd flows into my yard. We also had a plumming defect where the sewage exhaust was glued shut and no cap was placed on it, leaving all the toilets on the first floor to back up anytime any water was used on the first floor. This issue was promptly fixed, so we are appreciative of that. The top it all off, something was shot from the unfinished house next door which penetrated the exterior wall and 2 interior walls mid-day. Again, to Pulte's credit, Jason did say he would fix this, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The real problem is the lack of contact and committment from the crew here. I have reached out dozens, if not more times and asked for status updates. I get nothing. When I do get something, its often without value. One time I got the comment "we didnt know you needed a dishwasher", so I sent a picture of a whirlpool which does not come with the kitchenaid appliances. At the end of the day, I still didnt want to write a negative review as Jason did attempt to create a schedule, and they did attempt repair on the patio as well as a few other items. I also know they are dealing with labor issues but with the items breaking and/or incomplete, and the complete lack of communication over the past month, I have become frustrated to the point where I am fearing legal action may be required. My word of advice to people buying from Pulte in this sub-division is to not close under any circumstances until your home is 100% complete, and when you do close, do not expect much in terms of communication or response if something does go wrong. ... We have cosmetic flaws, some more unsatisfactory small pea size pit and chipped wood exposed on exterior surfaces the of the cabinets; to minor blemishes, cracks in paint at joints or filled in cracks to conceal, but visible; to a huge crack in the bottom shelf of the wall cabinet likely caused by installation of the under cabinet lights. These have been reported on their Customer Service website, but have yet to be resolved. The cosmetic blemishes can be overlooked, but the cracked cabinet makes the whole gourmet kitchen upgrade unsatisfied and we feel we overpaid. The buying process is what you would expect - when the builder and the lender needs information you need to turn it over immediately on their time table. When you have issues with your home they can take as long as they want to address it. We've identified some building issues since February 2022 and closed May 2022. It is July 13, 2022 and to this date the issues have not been addressed. We did not hold closing on good faith our issues would be addressed and they still have not. They don't seem to care now that they have their money do they? Other quality issues appeared when we moved in - Air Condition (in hot Las Vegas) not properly hooked up, appliances that barely made it in by close date (they were preparing us to move in with no oven/microwave combo but ended up getting us one at the last minute), and just overall general response time to our issues we identified have an extreme lag time. Disappointed with the communication aspect of this entire process as well. As I said, when they need something you need to be jimmy on the spot to provide it, but their SLA is infinity. ... More

The buying process was smooth. I was expecting a higher grade of materials and appliances. Craftsmanship was lacking in the overall build. Areas that needed touch up are being addressed, but still not complete. We do like the neighborhood and the style of home is just right for us.

I had/have multiple issues when i moved in. It's been more than couple of month's that i moved in and still lots of issues. Customer service is horrible. Even i could not get hold of any one while calling the emergency line.

We want to give this a higher rating but we just can't. Pulte tries hard to provide a quality home, and their floorplans are excellent, but the contractors just did such a poor job, which ruins the potential. Paint contractors had to come back out on MULTIPLE occasions and the quality of paint still to this day is amateur at best. The contractors installing trim did a bad job and still to this day there are peices of broken trim that was just painted over and never replaced. The ceiling has spots in it where the stamping was done incorrectly. These are just a few of the examples, it seemed like every contractor that came in to do their trade was rushing and did a poor job or damaged something else while they were here and it wouldn't get fixed for a long time. All that being said, we still do love our home, we are just a little disappointed in the quality of worksmanship and the fact we're going to have to spend our own time over the years fixing things that should have been done right the first time. At the time our home was being built, there were MANY other homes being built in the neighborhood and the crews were rushed, no doubt, and the construction manager had way more jobs on his plate than he should have had, and to my understanding they have limited the number of houses being built to make up for this, so you may want to take that into consideration. Just know if you choose Pulte, you will need to keep a close eye on the construction of your home and be a pest to the construction manager to try to get things done right. Pulte is not responsive to issues and bad on communication. Mortgage company horrible

Quality of work could have been better. Really not worth spending so much money in pulte. There are other builders like Dress home and the quality of work is excellent.

We closed 2.5 months ago. Just informed we won’t get a yard until at least July. Kitchen ceilings cracking. Mortgage process a disaster. All in all wouldn’t recommend.

For the price I paid, the attention to detail of the finishes, paint, cabinetry and trim work was completely sub par. I would expect a much better job pertaining to the finished details of the house. Honestly, I’m disappointed to the point where I don’t “love” my house as much as I would like to.

Very poor fit/finish and responsiveness

We love our home and our happy we purchased. But the service we have received after we closed, has been absolutely awful. Our house was not cleaned prior to moving in, our yard was a complete mess with garbage from construction and we were promised by Andreas it would be cleaned up. Nobody ever came to clean it up and they just came out with bulldozers and covered it all with dirt. So now we have tons of nails, metal, tubes of caulk, aluminum cans, and other garbage buried in our yard. Our construction manager, Andreas, stopped communicating with us regarding final work that needs to be completed. He hasn’t returned a single email or phone call from anyone in the neighborhood. Overall the materials used seem cheap. 1. Sinks do not have anything to close and open the drain, have to push it with hands 2. Bathtub tap doesnt have anything to control water flow, either its full flow or no flow 3. Shower head seem cheap build 4. Toilet seats are cheap built 5. Kitchen stove and dishwasher both are not functional, stove takes longest time to heat, dishwasher dry cycle doesn't work 6. Trim paint job was done poor quality 7. Kitchen island workmanship is poor quality, its not straight but off, I wish i could upload pictures 8. It is VERY obvious that Pulte did not appropriately oversee the workers who built my home. So many massive issues in all of the finish trades. I wanted to move into my home with peace of mind and now I’m stuck in an endless cycle of fighting with tradesmen over their terrible craftsmanship. Absolutely horrible. I used the think Pulte stood for build quality. I no longer have this association with their name.

I purchased my home remotely and visited for the scheduled inspections. In between visits updates from the crew were few and far between. Many times I had to reach out multiple times before receiving a response. Now that I live on the property, the warranty service is even worse. I have had issues with my condo since closing day that have still yet to be resolved two months later. The team doesn't believe me when I report issues and doesn't schedule the teams to fix it until they stop by which can sometimes take weeks. I appreciated the step by step process by construction and leading up to closing, but then once I closed it was all different. My dishwasher was installed wrong and caused major water damage. This resulted in my hardwoods being removed and replaced during my first week (the very next day I closed). I couldn’t properly move in and access my kitchen for days. There were many issues with how the home was completed with an overall “sloppy” completion. Even when workers were sent back out they did not fix it properly and had to come out again and again. I still have unresolved issues. I have to keep asking and follow up on unfinished work and do not feel that I got what I paid for when I closed. The communication is weak and quality of the finished product is disappointing. As a first time homeowner, I walked into a mess and was completely unhappy my first week when it should have been a happy first week. Now a month into my first home, I’m still trying to get concerns addressed and my home finished. For example, I paid for screens on my siding doors and they never were installed. That’s a month without them while they were paid for and I had to point this out to Pulte myself. Sprinklers were not installed correctly and in the wrong position and I’m still waiting on this repair and cannot use them until they are fixed. Scratches and stain on my kitchen counters. Bath tub dented and scratched. The list continues. Pulte keeps telling me to wait or that they are working on it, but I lost trust in the process. I have to be the consistent reminder and stay on top of every detail. Overall, I am having to take time out of my work schedule to schedule repairs that should have been addressed during inspections. This is my second Pulte Home in 17 years. Unfortunately, this new home did not meet our expectations in quality workmanship. From the sparse front landscaping to drywall repairs and tile mess-ups it has been frustrating. Due to the company rushing the closing before the houses are done is an experience that all homeowners are faced with in this community! At walk throughs with Superintendent things are not completed at all and this should not be. I have waited over 2 months for a tile repair. I have waited for over 2 months for a drywall ceiling patch job that looks terrible. Windows on the house are scratched by the cleaners and have weep holes plugged with stucco AFTER the house closed! This because the windows were filthy at walk through and still not done when we moved in! The kitchen sink that we paid over $500 extra for does not drain properly and food sits in corners. We can see light through the front door and door from garage has a lock that binds. All of these things and just a lack of attention to detail that frustrates the buyer. We live in a construction zone with many houses being rushed. In 2 months the roads have never been cleaned. Nails, trash, dirt are everywhere. Every morning trash has piled up on my porch and in the rock landscaping. The workers park on our rocks and thus, we lose the rock landscaping into the street. This is just nuts when buying half a million dollar + homes! I am sorry Pulte, but your mortgage company caused us undo hardship and over $900 in expenses also. When I complained I never got my money back! You see they told us to come to another state that our house was ready to be signed for, when in fact there was no clearance from VA ...so they said. House was not done. After waiting in a hotel room for days we ended up having to go back home with no house signing! $900 in hotel expenses and NO ONE CARED! THEN WE FOUND OUT FROM VA THAT THERE WAS A CLEARANCE LETTER IN OUR FILE THE WHOLE TIME! THERE WAS MORE TO THE TERRIBLE STORY, BUT I WILL NOT DISCLOSE IT HERE. ... More

Building too much, not enough staff and lacking in quality. Hard to get responses on questions, kept putting fixes off so had a long list of things to do after closing. Still waiting on items over a month later.

Pulte rushed delivering our home; therefore, quality suffered significantly. Workmanship was very poor overall; the lack of oversight of the contractors is evident everywhere. The warranty department has been very responsive in fixing issues, but with much inconvenience to us since we already moved-in. The fixes are also very poor as far as workmanship goes. This is the third new house I have owned and by far the worst quality and moving-in experience. Previous builders were D.R. Horton and Lennar.

The quality and workmanship was not what I expected from a Pulte Home. A month after closing and we are still addressing issues found during the final walkthrough. Actually, one of the issues was with the gas connection to the stove which caused it to burn. Very dangerous!
