Great experience with the builder and the whole building process.

The buying process with Pulte was nothing short of SEAMLESS! From the first day we entered the sales office and the model homes, to the closing day, there was not one issue that was not immediately addressed by the Pulte team and their associates in Pulte Mortgage and Pulte title. I have no words to express how happy we were with everything Pulte delivered, and more. Our project manager was phenomenal and made sure we were happy with the state of our home at delivery and that any small issues were immediately addressed even after closing. No side garage door to the side yard. Should have been included, not an expensive option. The driveway does not allow for safe access out of a parked car. Should have been wider. Only two hose bibbs for the entire property. There should have been one for each side of the home. The kitchen and pantry light switches are located behind the door. Should have been installed on the other side of the door. The garage door opener is located to far from the entry door. The bathrooms should of had soft-close toilet seats!! Really? The dishwasher should have been located closer to the kitchen cabinets, other side of the sink. The lot size is very nice. 12,000 square feet. Armando did an awesome job in our walkthrough!!! Derek J. has been very supportive. Great guy! We like the garage with its extra space for storage. It would be nice if Pulte would provide after sales links or contractor contacts for added items such as: countertops, upgraded carpeting, cabinets, additional concrete work, landscaping and irrigation. Solid core bedroom doors would be a big quality plus for Pulte! Minor additional cost. All the other doors as hollow core we understand. An additional electrical outlet in the master closet would be a huge plus. The carpeting in the bedrooms is of low quality! Higher quality carpeting would go a long way for Pulte's reputation. Another low cost item for quality and reputation!!! We like the option for surround sound speakers being pre-wired, as well as ceiling fans. That's all for know. Home is ok, have had some isssues and submit them and it is usually weeks before you heard back from anyone. Before we bought out lot we were told we could fence in our back yard as well, but when getting permit the city says we are not able to do this… feel as if we were told false information just to sell us a home.

My overall experience was a positive one. Kristen was very easy to work with on the pre-construction side and communication with her was always great and quick throughout the process. Carter on the construction side was just as great too. Fantastic updates and communication throughout the building process. My only real negative experience was interacting and dealing with Pulte’s Mortgage Group. I was disappointed in my dealings with them but at the end of the day I secured my own financing with my own lender.

Our overall experience purchasing and building our new home with Pulte has been very positive. From the initial purchase through design selections and construction, we felt supported by a knowledgeable team that genuinely cared about delivering a quality home. We would like to specifically recognize Frank, Natalie, and Alex for their outstanding work throughout the process. Frank made the purchasing experience smooth and straightforward, answering our questions and helping us feel confident in our decision. Natalie was exceptional during the design process, providing guidance and expertise that helped us make selections we are truly happy with. Alex did an excellent job managing the construction of our home, keeping us informed throughout the build and demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. While our overall experience has been positive, there were a few areas that did not meet our expectations. Upon receiving the keys at closing, the home was significantly dirtier than we anticipated and required a thorough cleaning before we could comfortably move in. While not a major issue in the grand scheme of the build, it was disappointing after an otherwise positive experience. Our greatest frustration has been the post-closing completion process. We understand that weather can impact schedules for grading, irrigation, landscaping, and sod installation, and we appreciate that some delays may have been unavoidable. However, nearly two months after closing, many of these items remain incomplete, and timelines have repeatedly shifted. More concerning than the delays themselves has been the communication surrounding them. When we have reached out with questions or requests for updates, we have often felt as though our concerns were being minimized or that we were inconveniencing the team by asking for information. Homeowners who have recently made one of the largest purchases of their lives naturally want to understand the status of outstanding items, and we believe more proactive, responsive communication would greatly improve the customer experience. Similarly, the fireplace brick issue identified at closing has taken longer than expected to resolve. While we appreciate that corrective work is being pursued, updates have been infrequent, requiring us to repeatedly seek status information ourselves. Despite these frustrations, we remain very pleased with the quality of our home and the experience provided by Frank, Natalie, and Alex. Their professionalism, expertise, and customer focus were highlights of the entire process. With stronger post-closing communication and more timely completion of outstanding items, our experience would have been excellent from start to finish. ... More

High quality homes give owners confidence.

I had a great experience until after closing. Not all issues were resolved going to closing. Now it is like pulling teeth to get things fixed that should have been done already.

Be sure to have your own inspection done on the house and make sure to have them come back out once the repairs “are completed”. I’ll leave it at that.

Pulte rushed me through the closing process to ensure they could meet a quota at the end of April. As a result, we are dealing with numerous unresolved issues with our new home, including flooring repairs, door issues, garage door issues, incessantly alarms from the fire building, and unfinished landscaping.

My experience with pulte has been pleasant and timely

Life circumstances required me to move from Colorado to central Ohio. My realtor suggested that I look at a new Pulte homes in a 55+ community in New Albany. I really liked the floor plan of the new home I purchased and was pleased to learn that yard work and snow removal was part of the homeowner’s agreement. I have met several of my new neighbors and they as well are very happy with their new home as well as the community. I am extremely happy with my purchase of my new home as well as the home buying experience with Pulte homes.

Overall I had a great experience with Pulte homes. I’m very happy with my home. It’s beautiful and well constructed.

From inquiry with Victor, to walk through with Amber and follow up’s with Jayden it has been an excellent customer service experience. Things happened throughout all of the phases, but we could not have asked for better responses and results. Wonderful team at Parkside Trails.

Our experience was very smooth. Our requests were met and the house was delivered as we had requested in advance, given our dates. Therefore, I only have gratitude to express.

As a previous homebuyer, going into a home that is being built, is like no other. The experience was great. However there were some challenges with communication with Sales rep, Frank (lack informing on due dates), however after going above his head the concern was promptly corrected. And the purchase, options, craftmanship is without a doubt top notch. There were flaws identified after move in that were quickly corrected, by the construction mgr, Max. The overall experience I would do again. Everyone was quite pleasant and professional.

My overall homebuying experience with Pulte Homes was fairly smooth, and the team was generally responsive when I raised questions or issues. I appreciated that communication was usually clear during the process, and follow-up requests were handled in a reasonable way. That said, I do think there is room for improvement in workmanship and quality control. After moving in, I noticed several items that needed attention, including cosmetic issues and some areas that did not feel fully finished. For the price paid, I expected a more careful final inspection before closing. Overall, I am happy to be in the new home and I appreciate the responsiveness from the team, but I hope Pulte continues to improve build quality and final walkthrough standards for future buyers. ... Our construction manager, Justin, was fantastic! Explained everything thoroughly when we closed. Our warranty rep, Stacy, also responded quickly to the minor issues experienced after move in. Quality is great. Super happy in our new home!

We had a great team for our home. Shaun the builder, Brandi the sales agent, and Lauren the interior designer were all great. Would buy another Pulte home because of them. Great team, great company.

Definitely some quality concerns mostly cosmetic, but a few with plumbing and electrical. Construction manager is extremely responsive and great at getting what you need and answering questions.

Pulte Homes is an Amazing Builder, they listen to your needs while being very Transparent with information. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Pulte Homes Staff are very friendly and thorough when it comes to their homes, products, and services. My family and I enjoyed every step of the process. To see an idea become reality is such a wonderful and beautiful blessing!!!! Thank you all so much Pulte Homes for making our dream home a reality!!!!

Some great people in sales and management but held back by some mediocre tradespeople.

Pulte Homes Review – Nottingham Trace, New Albany, Ohio Overall, our experience with Pulte Homes at Nottingham Trace in New Albany has been somewhat positive. We selected the Martin Ray floor plan and appreciated the home’s design, functionality, and suitability for retirement living. The sales process was professional, and communication throughout construction was generally responsive. The quality of workmanship was good not excellent overall, with attention to many details that contributed to an attractive finished home. We particularly appreciated the open layout, sunroom, extended patio, garage extension, and overall community design. Like most new construction projects, we encountered several items that required correction during the building process and prior to closing. Pulte was generally willing to address concerns and complete items when brought to their attention. We found that conducting independent inspections and maintaining a detailed punch list helped ensure issues were identified and resolved. The construction manager and customer service representatives were courteous and worked with us throughout the process. While some repairs and adjustments required follow-up, we ultimately received satisfactory responses to most concerns. Our salesperson Brent was very helpful from start to finish. The Loan process was relatively easy. Punch list was created during final walk before closing, addressed prior to getting keys. Closed within the timeline provided from the start.
