Don’t sign closing documents until all repairs have been completed!! We completed our walk trough one week prior to close, pointed out the work needed and we’re promised most of it was going to be done by closing. That was not the case, they completed a few cosmetic touches inside the house but nothing everything. The manager did not complete the walk trough with us until two weeks after we had close and he took a list again of the issues needed to be corrected. Up to this date, two months after the walk trough, they have only completed two issues and only because they were affecting the HOA. ...

They do not respond to issues with the home . A lot of promises not kept. Communication is poor. I would advise to look for another home builder.

Poor Quality and Not Responsive.

The quality and workmanship of our home is very disappointing. We spent over $200K in premium overpriced options and the final finish quality was not what were told by Pulte at time of purchase. We should have never accepted our home on December 31st until it was 100% completed. We’ve now been in our home for almost six weeks and other then Pulte repairing all of the electrical outlets that did not work in the café and owner suite bedroom, they have yet to complete any the other repairs from our initial walkthrough, nor will they acknowledge or respond to our follow up emails.

Tax abatement and the building quality

Dear Pulte Homes, It is very disappointing how there was no clear explanation regarding the tax abatement and mortgage payments. It is clearly an impure intention how Pulte Homes holds the buyers' mortgage payments and pays them back once a year. The whole mortgage process took over a year, but there was no explanation about the tax abatement system until our first mortgage payment. Also, the quality of the house is way lower than our expectation that our construction manager has to come to fix our house almost every week, and it seems like it will take a long time for us to fix them ...

If anyone had supervised the work as house was being built we wouldn’t be wasting our time and Pulte’s fixing and completing items post closing. These things should all have been done pre closing. Closing itself on 12/29 Was a nightmare with total lack of communication.

Bad construction material, management and warranty post construction

Lack of commitment, material weak and defective. I have unsolved problems from the installation with American Flooring, Whirlpool, concrete splashes all over my porch, drive way that is not paved due to lack of management that resulted in too late in the year so could not be done, cracked and weak material all over my house… warranty department is useless. Very disappointed overall and nobody cares or contacted me to help or listen to me..

Overall worst experience buying home with Pulte

I opted for Pulte because of the name, However, it is just an illusion. So many issues in the house and no one responds in a timely manner. We just have to follow up again and again, however, no one really cares. Pulte just wanted to close on the house and we got fooled thinking they will take care of the issues. But we were wrong. For example, Just a month after moving in, there is a big crack in the basement foundation wall and water is leaking inside the basement. Sad part is, no one from Pulte came to look at it. Mass Production Contrustion at the expense of quality

The only reason I purchased from Pulte is because of the floor plans and location. Aside from that expect builder grade and sloppy craftsmanship in all internal finishes. I upgraded to the gourmet kitchen package and it's been a complete disappointment. I'd had to have pulte return to fix broken cabinets, leaking plumbing connections and holes in back of cabinets. I've bought preconstruction from other home builder in the past but never have experienced such poor level of craftsmanship. The day of closing, all cabinets were missing all door knobs!! Talk about lack of attention ...

My over all experience was very bad. My house construction was delayed by 4 months. I was rushed and forced to close the house before fixing all the issues that we identified. The construction manager tried to help us. But still there are several in resolved issues.

Do Not Close with Outstanding Issues

My advice is to never close on the home when their are outstanding items that need to be complete. This was our first time building a home. We did not truly understand that the home should be complete (move-in ready) the day before close. Now, we still have items not done and I have to constantly follow up to get anything done. Lesson learned.

Inability to complete the home

one example cabinets selected at the design center was level 6, but they installed level 1 and poorly installed and not even completed, very disappointing and the next step which is the reply to this survey will determine if the rating goes even lower.

For the amount of money we spent on the home and the lack of completion of our home when we moved in was very disappointing. The little things you thing would get a lot of attention on are lacking throughout or home. 2 months later and we are still waiting on things to be completed.

Disorganization

I would never purchase from Pulte again. They are disorganized from the beginning until the end. In addition, communication is lacking with with homebuyers. We were delayed by almost 4 months and not once did someone reach out to provide that status. Mid-way through, we were told our paint selections would only be available in flat paint due to supply chain. I spoke to the local Sherwin Williams store and they had no problem securing the exact same in eggshell and semi-gloss. Pulte is not interested on building a quality home, too many issues not address and lack of supervision. I have bathrooms without the silicon on toilets, showers, overall paint was not apply correctly, it needed to be sanded and then paint, floor you can feel is missing something because when you walk you feel a hole under the floor, cabinets have a lot of cracks and missing soft close, my island in the middle of the kitchen shakes when walking around it. The quality of all the materials feel very cheap and the work looks like it was rushed. For the price paid I definitely expected at least a bit more quality in regards to carpets, vinyl sheets in bathrooms and flooring.

We did not get the quality home we thought we were purchasing

The final product is poor quality. Bad craftsmanship throughout the entire home. They rushed through the build it it shows. We have structural issues as well as "cosmetic" issues. It seems the structural issues would not have been brought to our attention by our construction manager and WE had to bring these to his attention. So it seems they knew about the issues but wasn't going to tell us. My worry is what else was rushed through during the build that we cannot see. Had a horrible experience from the point of closing. Lot of pending issues on the closing day - no communication/update on when those pending issues will be addressed. I understand the supply chain issues, but even the communication on acknowledging open issues has been horrible. Only grace is the support team who at least are now communicating once in a while when the update comes. Pulte Homes - We had closing on 1st week of November 2021 until now we requested

We had closing on 1st week of November 2021 until now we requested to install new shower glass door & rods in the bathroom, Kitchen Crown which haven’t installed even single time since closing. In the house many of things left to fix which we are mentioned in many times in emails to field manager but I haven’t got response back from him. Those issues we showed to field manager on closing day as well. I have no idea why he don’t concentrate on those issues. He just solved 1-2 issues only in 5 work orders he created. We paid for all this work then also. We are unsatisfied with his work.

Construcción time and land

Wait time on construction was not as told and they did not properly explained the type of land being purchased as it was flat and at the end was a huge slope in back. The construction inside home are all uneven: walls are not straight, outlets are not in lined and some forced in. Missing pieces from carpet to floor tiles. Overall cost of home does not give you the value in material not construction.House was not completely finished upon closing. They just care about the money.
