The whole process with pulte has been a struggle from the get go, there was a lack of communication throughout the process and many questions that we asked to get answered that were not. After moving in we have had many issues with the home just within the first month and as of now the value of the home we paid for does not seem to match the quality expected.

I know things are tough with supplies and getting qualified workers, but communication is very poor. Many things still need touched up/fixed after closing and the response is very slow. We were informed our home would take 6-8 months and it took 12. We were delighted when we knew Pulte was the builder for our new home, but ended up being disappointed

For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected better quality workmanship. We have needed to have several things corrected that resulted from shoddy work, such as crooked mirror, installation of damaged window casing, replacement of damaged or defective cabinet doors. The cabinets are not great quality, and we paid a premium for the convenience package. The touch up paint the painters used (and what was left for us) does not match exactly, so it stands out. It takes forever to get hot water to most of the house, so plumbing design is an issue. HVAC design is poor as well. The floor ...

House quality is not good as my expect

The painting is bad, lots of spot are not fixed although I taped them and showed to the Filed Manager; Over 10 walls are not vertical, most of the trims are curved not straight.

was told that all the lots were at least 3K square feet. that was a marketing lie at worst, an honest but negligent oversight at best. Once i found out it wasn't, I was not allowed to cancel my down payment even though it was a few days later. Also, fortunately for me, there is a 1 year warranty because there were lots of things that were not QCed well before turning over to me (however, it does take away my time, which i do not appreciate). also there are some ongoing design flaws i am dealing with- such as repeat flooding in my garbage can area.

The home was delivered to me very dirty, windows improperly installed. The tracks of the sliding glass doors were so filthy, it took me six hours to clean. The frame of one slider was bent and still is bent.

We had a terrible time fighting with Pulte about weather proofing issues before windows were put in. The house was filthy when we moved in, and I’m tired of fighting to have things corrected that weren’t done correctly the first time.

Numerous Quality Issues

Our home had many delays which I understand is out of the builder’s control to a certain extent. But the quality of the build is sub par - there were many issues we found at our closing walk-through that took months to be addressed. Also, some of the materials, such as the paint, are very low quality. Our appliances have dents in them and most of the sod laid in the yard was dead when they laid it. Communication from the builder is not at an acceptable level. I will never build a Pulte house again and would not recommend anyone else.

There were so many issues after we moved in. We still have some and most importantly our upstairs usually get warmer as compare to our ground floor. Cannot figure out what going on with heater issue though they say it’s fine.Not expected so many issues will be facing after moving to a brand new home. Also we are not satisfied with the quality of materials used ( especially bathroom ) and workmanship ( exterior and interior issues).

The overall experience I got from Pulte were not good. Sales representative were fine with all my questions and requests. But when it gets to see the quality of work and material you get from Pulte not as what they advertising. I have found many things that are not worked as professional. They are not responsive to the issues I found around the house and reporting them. Overall I was expecting to get good quality of build and material when I am paying a good money for it.

The communications and differences between sales, construction management and post delivery support are significant. The sales rep was very responsive and great to deal with. Construction management was unresponsive and avoided taking ownership of issue resolution. Post delivery support is responsive and working to address open issues.

Pulte Homes in 2021 has had great demand in the area of Hopkinton, MA, hence the bidding process went to a whole new level. We ended up paying a premium for that, and had barely any time to go over our options for upgrades. The Upgrades were insanely priced not at all worth the money they quoted. The rude and arrogant sales agents at Legacy Farms didn't make it any easier. Up until the last min we were going through so much stress of not getting the correct or enough information, which in hindsight wasn't worth it. We still have outstanding issues for our home, but no idea when they will get ...

Poor job of painting throughout entire unit. Some walls look as if the paint brush was to dry. Kitchen cabinets as well as some closet doors have some spots, scratches, small cracks, and uneven paint finish. Was not told that top window does not tilt in to wash. How can we wash them especially if it it’s difficult to take screen out. One of the planks on wooden floor is lifting So very disappointed, thought that Poulte had a reputation as a fine builder that is why we bought looks as if that is not the case at least with our unit. Craftsmanship was very sloppy. Examples include window frames that are not straight, painted walls have spots where paint is missing, paint on carpet, flooring has spots that are not sealed to concrete, blobs of grout on shower floor and garage floor, missing door stops.

Our wood floor had three nicks/dents in it. Looks like someone dropped something and put a nick in the wood. We also have splits going down the wood planks. We have, what I believe to be Caulk or some other film all over our tiles on the floor and wall in both bathrooms and on front door. The tile work in the laundry room is done horrible and doesn’t go flush to the wall. Waiting to see if there is proper drainage under our washer and dryer since they weren’t properly installed.
