This was a fail. The buying experience was not what we expected. The option prices at the design center were 25-30% higher than the options price sheet from the sales office. This was very disaappointing considering the price sheet was printed 5 weeks before our appointment with the design center. We had to scramble to revise most of our carefully pre-selected options on the spot as each one was itemized for us. We can tell this didn’t bode well with the consultant who looked irked from the start. Post sale experience is regrettable too. Good luck with trying to contact the warranty center. ...

Pretty sure I would not build with Pulte again. It was nothing like the last two houses I had built. The process was not very smooth and the quality of some of the workmanship was lacking. I would go into more detail, but it would take too long.

There were a few items that should be included in a house. A garage door opener, pulls on cabinets, and vents in the toilets. You all really seem to step over dollars to save pennies. If I would of known the above along with the fact that you were not willing at all to help with changes on a house that was not sheet rocked is very disappointing. Would not recommend you all or buy another home from you.

We moved in to a house with the outside property still under construction. We are extremely disappointed with the execution of the construction. The repairs to the outside promised were not done. The lawn has been a disaster waiting for, and the property is littered with rocks. Molding is not caulked and Pulte is now trying to direct us to put all the issues into warrantee.

I wanted to say that everything was great that we bought an amazing home, but its been almost 2 months since we closed and we still have issues that have not been fixed. We bought a spec home and started the process in April. After a couple walk throughs we were supposed to have issues fixed. Many of them are still pending going into July. The sales agent didn't know how to communicate, often times never responding to questions. We had the foreman who was getting things done for us on punchlist items, only to get laid off leaving us waiting with someone else who is slow and unresponsive ...

We still haven't had our 30 day walk through where we do have areas of concern. There will always be doubt due to how the buying and follow up processes have been executed. This probably will fall on death ears.

Double and triple check every detail during your walkthrus especially concerning electiical work. You may be told prior to purchase that your townhouse will look exactly like the models. It won't. Models have pavers and wrought iron railings. The entrance walkways to townhouses have concrete walkways and very few have wrought iron railings

If I had not stopped at the construction site every week, many things would not have been fixed until it was too late. Plumbing in the wrong place. Air conditioner pad in the wrong place. After closing I came home to my kids bathroom destroyed because the marble guys didn’t coordinate with construction, also everything that was written down before the final walk-through was not fixed, I still have over 15 issues they have not been fixed and it’s been two months since I closed

Very well designed and functional. The only thing is that the workmanship is very poorly done, not professional workers. The paint inside is horrible, spot missing on wall, paint on the rugs, doors are so rough you can’t wash them. The grass was put on top of the sprinklers we had to dig them out. We spoke with neighbors in the community and they told us they had similar problems. For the price of these home I expected more quality work done.

If you are not an advocate Pulte will try and pull things over on you to meet their deadlines etc. great neighborhood but house quality and transparency by pulte is poor

Many systems in the house are very good but poorly integrated. Very good HVAC, very good home controls, good lighting but the ceilings in the house have holes everywhere. None of the systems are aesthetically aligned, multiple access panels for service, each contractor did what they wanted without any overall management. Cleaners came in and ruined stained doors and trim by using bleach and water to sanitize home. Kitchen cabinets are not commercial. Installer drove nails through the side of cabinets, smeared putty all over finished surfaces, cabinet trim fell off, scratches everywhere, ...

Paid extra for an upgrade. Not worth it. Tiles & Grout were not sealed. Tiles have stained marks & excess grout. Bannister missing screws and nut bolt exposed. A toilet is loose. Vents/Extractors in bathrooms very inefficient. Places for show only. Paint lines crooked. White paint on the metal rails. POWER keeps tripping. Outside railing not stained. Garage and driveway excess cement not cleaned. Garden not weeded before closing. 30 day walk through still not done.

Pulte has been awful with the quality of work that has been performed, I have shutters that are coming of the home, I have not been in the home but a little over 60 days. The wood on my deck has completely cracked, there has been absolutely no one from warranty to address these issues whatsoever.

We first looked at Pulte homes in early June with a wonderful individual, she had a great personality, was open, honest and a pleasure to work with. Almost immediately after signing our contract, she was moved to a different location and a new representative was going to take over. Awful customer service and a whole bunch of issues with the sales team and construction quality control

We had many issues throughout the build process, most were due to the incompetence of the sales rep. On several occasions we were told we were getting one product by the sales rep only to find out too late in the build process that those items that heavily swayed our decision to purchase, either 1. Weren't available, or 2. Were only available if we chose a different option or 3. We were mislead on what we were getting. I could go on and on but there's not enough space. Compare to other new construction houses ,Pulty model house is simple design, not special at all. Pulte has some good home designs, but in the end, they fall short because they hire the cheapest labor possible using the cheapest materials possible. Fit and finish is terrible, and there doesn't seem to be any inspection of the work performed. For example, many of the doors inside the house don't close. EVERY window has crooked or wavy framing and drywall work. The floor tiles throughout the house are uneven so furniture wobbles. Any purchased upgrades use the least expensive materials possible. Closed on home in March. Yard has still not been installed - issue is not due to COVID-19. This is a shame as we would not have poorly rated this experience prior to closing. We have been understanding about a window needing to be replaced and workers not being allowed in homes during the pandemic. However, yards are being installed consistently around the neighborhood as we watch and wait for the past 2 months.

Everything looks good until you close on the house

Everything seems great until about the last 1-2 weeks prior to you closing on your new home. During that time is when the inside of the house actually starts to come together. At that point you will meet with a Project Manager that will walk you around the house to mark any areas that you deem to be flawed. The majority of this is related to drywall, paint, etc. At that point they will add tape to the affected areas. Here is where the issue lies. I closed on 2/19/20. To date, the exterior painting (including caulking and ceiling) and landscaping has not been completed. Also, the exterior was littered with construction debris. There are also interior issues that cannot be addressed at this time due to COVID-19 but reflect upon the quality of workmanship. I am currently having shingle blow offs and shingle flapping in several sections of the roof that has not been resolved although reported.
